I was a bit skeptical after reading some negative reviews but the hotel and staff definitely exceeded our expectations. We got a free upgrade with our room and it was big and had a lovely view of the sea

We went during the off-season so a lot of places were closed but some lovely restaurants and cafes still open. A nice little town to wander around

Fairly new modern hotel on outskirts of Makarska. Good location and views from seaview bedroom and rooftop bar superb

The staff made sure that the dishes were replenished, plates on tables were cleaned away as soon you finished, and plenty of wait staff to take drinks orders. The staff at the hotel were all friendly and helpful

Our room was cleaned everyday (even when we forgot to leave the tag outside on the door) and was provided with a complimentary bottle of water as well. The facilities were clean and not too busy

Overall, a positive experience staying at this hotel. The hotel is located near the old town - a nice 30 minute stroll or a €5- €7 Uber ride

Excellent location Very nice hotel with big pool and close to the beach. Excellent breakfast. They had great fitness and spa. It was clean everywhere all the time. Nice and helpful staff. We recommend this hotel.

The position is perfect, right on the water. The old town and bus stop really close by. The pool is beautiful, overlooking the sea. One of the best equipped hotels we've seen

Very nice, modern, well-equipped hotel in a great location. If you like swimming this is a great place to do it. x2 pools and the sea literally on your (back) doorstep. 22-23°C in October, water quality excellent

The outdoor pool was so clean and wonderful! So refreshing and perfect in the sun to sit on the sun bed and tan all day! Has very good facilities for indoor swimming and outdoor, I love that the beach view is opposite! Very friendly professional and happy attitude staff

The hotel staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. The amenities are really nice. The pool that overlooks the beach is beautiful. It’s a lifesaver as the beach is overcrowded

Fantastic hotel stayed 10 nights with my husband. Very clean in all areas, food outstanding with great professional friendly staff. Loved the infinity pool and various sun terraces lots to do in the hotel

The rooms are spacious and clean. Not only the rooms, but the entire interior and exterior of the building are clean. The elevators are made of glass, so you can see the sea as you go up and down

The outdoor pool is also good. After playing in the sea, you can walk 20-30 meters to the hotel’s outdoor pool. The breakfast is not great, but it’s still pretty good

The wide open sea, the beach right in front of the room, people swimming in the clean water, a well-maintained promenade under the pine trees along the beach, people relaxing at various restaurants and bars next to the promenade, pretty yachts anchored nearby… I can’t express it all in words

The breakfast is absolutely fantastic!… The service is very much above the norm! There are so many places along the beach to pop in and get something to eat drink and be married

This resort has everithing you need. Outside pool, ear city beach, restourant , hair dresser, trampoline sector for kids with is very awsome, its near hotel lobby where you can enjoy your drinks when kids are playing

The pool was the ideal place for relaxation and reading, and the beach is less than a minute away. Plenty of bars and restaurants around, and Makarska centre about 20min walk away

This hotel has so much to offer - great location, good food, kind working staff, many entertaining options for kids and adults, playroom, sport field, pool with slides Will for sure came back!

The hotel offers everything you could wish for: a lovely pool, delicious food, (Grano Duro), comfortable and stylish rooms… simply perfect. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

Everything was clean & tidy and the pool was maintained well. It opened later than what we hoped for, 9am every day, and slightly small

The management is clearly excellent, and it shows in every detail. Special thanks to the animation team — Dora, Eva, Domagoj, and Patrik — who absolutely impressed us with their energy and creativity

We dined one time at dinner buffet which was nice and the other days maybe ordered some lunch for the menu with our credits or used them at the pool bar or lobby bar. Can't really think anything to complaint about

We had a lovely stay at Places, Makarska. The hotel was very modern with great views and in close proximity to the sea. The restaurants were good in the hotel and there were lots of bars and places to eat nearby

Great hotel, really good concept for the wristband as you get €350 a couple for 7 days can spend at the beach bar,pool restaurant/bar or main bar/restaurant

The outside gazebo's all need new cushions or at least clean ones need new water cushions also was no music only dreary music needs uplifting music didn't see any entertainment maybe end of season but still in needs something

Would recommend paying for pool/partial sea view. Rooms are quite small but fine for two. Don’t have to get buffet you can scan for a la carte menu which they don’t really advertise

You can stay by the pool or there are many walking/cycle routes nearby. The places beach bar is lovely, and the cocktails were great!

Lovely central hotel right overlooking beach. Staff amazing especially lady on reception and lady who greets us for breakfast. Meets us with a smile every day. and everything is just perfect

The apartment is equipped with all the appliances that make life easier; there's even a washing machine. Clean and nice. Close to shops, and the beach is about a 5-minute walk away.

Beach for swimming is a minutes walk and behind the hotel are some great walks with paths to Nugal beach. The seafront is on your doorstep and only a 5 minute walk to the old town

Great location and great seaview. We had a room on 4/F with a small balcony and I sat there to enjoy the view for hours. We parked our rental car right in front of the hotel which cost EUR 11 for a night

There are I believe 4 sea view rooms with sun canopy’s but only two work. There seems to be no provision in this hotel to get anything fixed that isn’t working

We booked for a mountain view, and on check in we realised they upgraded us to an ocean view. Excellent location and restaurant is amazing. Highly recommend!!

Great property in the centre of the Marina, book oarking in advance or ask for directions pre arrivung in busy months but relatively easy. Perfect location for all of the town and a greatvplace to visit.

The beach, like many, is made of pebbles and unfortunately disfigured by gigantic inflatable structures but other beaches are accessible a short distance away

Lovely hotel, lovely area, great beach! Staff were accommodating and room had what we needed (except coffee, bring your own!) with a balcony overlooking the sea front. Chairs with umbrellas available on the beach.

Family run hotel looking down onto makerska. Spotless and great selection for breakfast. No pool but the beach is nearby. Nothing is too much trouble and makes for a relaxing holiday

The hotel is a five minute walk from the promenade and the beach. To the center 15 minutes slowly. Lots of cafes. On the waterfront you can choose an excursion for every taste. The honesty was a pleasure.

We had a great view of the sea from our room, the staff is very friendly and ready to help, the room was clean and spatious, great smart TV and the food was delicious and well balanced.

Great location and Staff Staff was great and hotel was close to everything. We actually loved the hotel and area that we booked an extra night. Danica at the front desk was super helpful and a delight to chat with!

They greeted us with a welcome drink of good Moet champagne, provided parking passes for our entire stay in Markarska, were very flexible with check-in and check-out, and the breakfast was of a very high quality

The Hotel was in a great location near the beach and overlooking the harbour. Good selection for breakfast to choose from. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. Staff were helpful and polite.

2nd visit to this fab hotel - looks like pics but we went to the rooftop pool for a relaxing drink and swim and a whole aerobic class came there with loud speaker!! Horrendous not sure we’ll come back - even when back in our room all you coupd hear was stomping feet and thumping music!

There is a beach outside the hotel but after a recommendation from the lovely chap who did the sport massage we took a right and walked away from the town centre and found the most beautiful beaches, far quieter and more stunning that those to the left

Type Ramova Beach into Google maps you won’t regret it! So even though this hotel is a bit of a walk from the centre the beaches further down are well worth it
