The best of the best would be to have an small indoor playground near the restaurant so that parents could take time to eat quietly while kids are playing.

I had very low expectations for this resort from all the negative reviews I had read beforehand. I booked a stay from the pictutes, and chose Noa Roko apartments, self catering. We are 3 days into our 10 day stay at the Waterman Kaktus, booked a privilege room with sea view which is lovely ( room 310), the view is fabulous. Could do with tea and coffee facilities but we brought a travel kettle. What a great family holiday. We stayed in a sea view room (222) on the second floor. The room was clean with good facilities and was cleaned regularly. The hotel team looked after us well, were always available, and were super friendly, particularly the bar staff. My favourite hotel once I'd worked how to minimise dangerous steps. Lovely pool, pool staff & new Manageress Ivana (to whom I sent an email) Housekeeping a bit haphazard ... Sorry they lost the Bank supporting their non-functioning ATM. It recognised me but failed to deliver the €150 requested, so tipping was limited.

Good value for money, relatively pleasant rooms, accommodating service, food - surprisingly - good with varied menus, nice beaches, not overcrowded. The only minus is lack of activities for people who prefer active holidays. We will likely return for a shorter holiday.

Last visited 94- it’s been done up since then. A bit out in the sticks. Get uber from trogir about 6 e, cab from rank about 25!!! 1 hour walk- flat. Rooms on small side. Showers really good. Views lovely from upper floor rooms- I was on 6th. No gym. Pizza joint onsite closed. Nearest beach bar closed. Perhaps a seasonal thing. Staff- professional- first class. Breakfast ok- loads of choice- hot stuff...

The service attitude at the reception was poor. We booked a room clearly stating that we would have children, but there were only two sets of bathrobes and towels. We called to request that they be delivered to the room, but they were not delivered until the evening. Moreover, because the bathrobes and towels were delivered in two batches, the waiter was very impatient and threw the towels at us.

We stayed at the hotel for the New Year holidays. From December 30 to January 02, 2025. Apparently because of this the room was really poorly cleaned, the photo shows stains on the floor, on the table from coffee, garbage in the drawers. The outdoor pool was so clean and wonderful! So refreshing and perfect in the sun to sit on the sun bed and tan all day! Lovely Hotel, great Staff and lovely Facilities. Only let down were the rooms, booked a 2+1, note that it is small for 3 adults, suits two adults and child and even then it would be tight. The staff did try and offer an alternative but unless you pay for an additional room the rooms are similar in size. Enjoyed our stay here and would staff again.

We spent a family holiday in this hotel for the second time. Despite a little bit small rooms everything was acceptable except one thing. Ignorant guests (not every guest of course). The worst thing which is hotel management responsible is that every public rest spot in the hotel is a smoking area with ashtrays everywhere. Quick stop over in between towns. Staff could not have been ftiendlier. Room was amazing. We had an apartment facing the ocean. Carparking was available and free. The hotel also has an on site restaurant. The service and food there was also great. I wish we had more time to stay there longer.

I had a lovely stay overall. The hotel was really clean and the outside areas were beautiful for sitting out and eating. The only downsides were that the pool area was a bit small and some loungers got booked up early with towels, and a couple of loungers needed maintenance. Sadly you can only do the buffet and not open to have just yogurt and a coffee or something smaller. Beach side the staff can only deliver food/drinks -no interaction. Not personal we had to use an app that only worked 1/2 time. Drinks and food at the beach were too expensive and no happy hour. I stay in 5 star hotels all over the world.

I spent several months in Croatia and would return repeatedly to only a few hotels, and one of them is Laurentum. Very professional staff, friendly atmosphere, cleanliness and a big plus is that it is renovated. great work by the whole team from the cleaning lady to the director.

This Hotell is Clean and the Staff is very friendly.Not optional for Children.Do Not book half board the dinner was not god(You order from menu). I did also miss hocks in the Bathroom for towels.This place is very quite and good for couples or older people.

What a gem. This was a beautiful hotel with modern updates, and top end comforts. Beautiful views of the ocean. The staff and breakfast were delightful. The town is a must see. It was very walkable, with lovely shops and restaurants, and a nearby beach

Great hotel, we were so warmly welcomed by the staff. We forgot to book a parking spot, but they had reserved one for us anyway. Rooms are very comfy, and nicely decorated. Beds a bit firm for my taste. But all is clean, modern, well equipped. Not too many sunbeds, causing uncool behaviour from fellow guest in "reserving" beds with towels while spending time at the beach or elsewhere.

We had a lovely stay at Places, Makarska. The hotel was very modern with great views and in close proximity to the sea. The restaurants were good in the hotel and there were lots of bars and places to eat nearby. The staff were very helpful and very welcoming. We would recommend a stay here when visiting Croatia. We took a ride on the little train that passes nearby and we also booked a TukTuk...

The outside gazebo's all need new cushions or at least clean ones need new water cushions also was no music only dreary music needs uplifting music didn't see any entertainment maybe end of season but still in needs something

Lovely hotel with the backdrop of Biomovo mountain. Easy walking distance to many restaurants, the marina and the sea. Antonella was always helpful, as were the rest of the staff. You can stay by the pool or there are many walking/cycle routes nearby. The places beach bar is lovely, and the cocktails were great!

Great hotel, really good concept for the wristband as you get €350 a couple for 7 days can spend at the beach bar,pool restaurant/bar or main bar/restaurant. Lovely decor and easy app to get anything you need brought to your room without having to go to reception. Perfect location loads of bars/restaurants and activities close and beautiful views. After reading very positive reviews on Trip Advisor for this hotel, we had high hopes and whilst we enjoyed some things, there are improvements to be made in several areas (in our honest opinion). On arrival everything looked lovely and were impressed with the airy communal spaces and lovely outside patio. An incredible experience. Overall, the hotel is very good, the room is very spacious, the location is perfect, the breakfast and dinner have many options, the hotel staff is very welcoming, and with all these services, it feels like a 5-star hotel. I loved it!

They gave us a great big room with a real sea view and a jacuzzi tub.
