Heritage Hotel Tragos in Trogir

If you are looking for a hotel with a view then this is not for you! However if you want to stay in a historic place then it is. The family run the hotel so smoothly, even in the two thunderstorms I had, one at Breakfast and another at lunch. My wife and I were met at the old town gate by Ester who showed us through the narrow streets to the hotel and then gave us as much information about the hotel and Trogir as we asked. The whole place was spotlessly clean, the room large, great shower etc and made up well each day. Food wise for us the breakfast was great cooked and/or continental taken in the restaurant across the 2 metre wide street. Really hard to fault.

Without doubt one of the cutest hotels in Dalmatia! I tend to go to Croatia every two years and every time I choose different location across Dalmatia. This year I stayed at this beautiful, small and comfy hotel in the heart of Trogir old town. It is only half a minute walk to the main square and the cathedral. Upon our arrival, we were warmly welcomed by their young staff and offered cold beverage or local schnapps (you must try the herb one) . The five-day stay at Tragos was more than we could have imagined. The room was not big, but comfortable and very clean. The restaurant is also excellent, we tried local cuisine and loved every meal! Really recommend it! If I ever visit Trogir again, I will definately be staying here! Until next time, see you and thank you.

Charming family-run hotel in the center of Trogir.

The rooms are spacious, clean and well equipped. Cannot beat the location in the heart of the gorgeous old town !

The restaurant is excellent and service very friendly.

We returned after 15 years with our daughter - we were thrilled to find the place as lovely (even more) as our memories.

The menu at the restaurant changed but the quality remains excellent. Breakfast so generous!

This hotel is gorgeous! Staff are extremely friendly, and the room I am staying is just beautiful. I was supposed to stay for one night only, but I prolonged my stay. You can tell there is a lot of pride and dedication behind everything here. Absolutely recommend this hotel.

Great rooms, new refurbished antique style. I appreciate restaurant food a lot. A Capella every Thursday, try not to miss it.

Very interesting place. Different than the other old town hotels I've been. i do not write reviews but this place deserve you know about it. Good food, new rooms....

We only ate at the restaurant and enjoyed the variety of food. They use produce from their own gardens. The waitress had a great sense of honour. Watch out when they present the bill as they add the 3% for credit cards even when paying cash.
