Before we book a holiday we always look in depth and read lots of reviews on TripAdvisor. On the whole the reviews were good, however I have seen the last few that are very bad ? all I can give is our personal account.... we travelled with our 19-year-old daughter so we all only used the adult pool (it seems the most complaints are coming from families with young children using the larger pool). The hotel was quiet, relaxing, friendly and the food was fresh, healthy and a good choice. The duplex split-level room was perfect for us with fabulous Aircon to return to. We had a wonderful time... agreed that some places could do with a little TLC but the location, views and peacefulness of everything more than made up for a bit of tired paint work...

A very lovely spot but not a lot there apart from a few shops, Boat trips and restaurants. The area is very clean and well maintained. Wheelchair users will manage fine. Great Gelatto shop by the beach where you can park for free and will give you access to very clean public toilets. You must go on a boat trip to the Blue Lagoon where you can swim in cristal clear water, 2 mt. deep.

It seems like it has deteriorated over time. It used to be a quite nice place, with a lot of attentive staff. It seems it changed owner/management. The last time we visited it, almost none of the staff was in sight. Pieces of garbage have been lying around the campus for days. Lots of broken items, like railings. Breakfast was average at best. The reception was moved to a beaten up hut, which was being flooded when it was raining.

Excellent location providing stunning views over the bay from restaurant. Buffet breakfast is good with plenty of choice.
Roo.s are a good size however quite basic. No tea or coffee facilities in room or even a drinking glass.
Seems there are various deals available. Maybe we picked the wrong one! Staff were very helpful. Pool and poolside areas good. Brits with towels on beds from early morning.

A basic place to stay, no frills and take anything you may need. We've stayed here in all 3 of its forms over the past 12 years. It appears cash strapped right now, which I suspect is putting pressure on staff and facilities. Breakfast has usual range of hotel buffet items and an amazing view to enjoy while you eat plus most rooms have a bit of a sea view and small terrace or balcony. Gardens are always well maintained plus there are 2 pool areas. No WiFi in the room. Lots of families staying. Latchi is a great little spot and we visit most years to snorkel around Yiannakis beach.

I had planned to stay 4 nights but only stayed 1 and that’s because I was too tired to find somewhere else that 1st night. I was there the 1st of May. None of the pools were filled and they said it’s because they don’t fill them until the end of May when it’s warmer, but it’s not listed anywhere on the website that the pools would be empty. I was looking forward to swimming and sitting by the pool most days so this was a big disappointment. Then, I couldn’t access wifi or get a workable phone signal from our room- not a huge deal if you’re planning to detox from your phone while there, but a big deal for me as I was traveling alone and felt a little uneasy. Finally my door to my apartment wouldn’t stay locked when the handle was jiggled. What sealed the deal was dirty water coming from the supposed filtered water faucet, noisy neighbors on either side and above me, on top of loud construction/lawn maintenance sounds right in front of my room as they were preparing the grounds for the upcoming busy summer season. Also, my room had such a strong chemical/perfume smell after they cleaned it that I couldn’t sleep-in my experience, usually Eco hotels are more interested in using chemical free cleaning solutions. In my opinion, if you’re paying this much, the property should be prepared for guests before opening their doors- aka the grounds should be mowed, all construction and updates complete and at least 1 pool filled. Maybe only stay here during June-August when it’s ready for guests.
Positives: the room is spacious and was very clean. They upgraded me to a pool-side sea view for free. There’s an automatic hot water kettle and mini fridge with counter space to make food. The bathroom has a tub which is convenient for children. There were 2 sunning chairs outside our room. They were willing to offer me gluten and dairy free options but I didn’t visit the restaurant to know what that would have been like. *The owners were VERY gracious, kind, gentle and understanding- this is why I gave it 2 stars and am willing to suggest that maybe guests stay during the busy summer season.*

We were quite shocked to find this hotel was not the 4 star our travel agent sold us.
No mention that this hotel was nor suitable for disabled people as it is built in a 1/8 hill.

We did not expect a four star hotel to have no wifi except in reception no phone like from room to reception. Only one channel on TV in English
Twice no hot water, shower broken, toilet seat broken and had to request balcony and entrance to be cleaned. Admittedly after reporting this was repaired straight away and the gym was laughable..

Good side the staff were friendly and helpful.
