We have been coming to Asimina for 10 years now, sometimes twice a year. For me, it feels like visiting a family estate where I grew up
We celebrated my major life stones at Asimina - exams, school graduation, university times, first job offer, and a wedding. The hotel is truly superb, and for us, it’s a home away from home
We knew as soon as we returned for our 2nd visit we was going to come back next year and booked as we checked in. Friends joined up a few days in and are also coming back next year
Food in all restaurants was absolutely delicious. Staff again went above and beyond to make sure we had what we wanted. VIP bar staff again looked after us so well
If you like a very chilled atmosphere with the most amazing staff and food. I can’t see us going anywhere else
The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the beach and pool area is perfectly kept, the breakfast is superb, just like lunch and dinner. We truly love how attentive and welcoming all the staff members are

For couples
Good hotel. But it's worth 4*. Great view of the sea. Several large pools. You can't swim on the beach next to the hotel. There is a normal beach to the left and right of the hotel. Good breakfasts.
Good place , excellent views, nice pool area.
And all inclusive service so delicious.
Exposed electrics, ceiling falling down in the indoor pool, really strong sewage smells on the gym/indoor pool floor. There is a small mini supermarket in the hotel but be warned the priced are extortionate (€7
90 for one packet of tampons, €2. 50 for small Pringles, €20 for one pack of dummies!!!). The pool towels can only be exchanged every 3 days. Welcome juice on arrival is nice
We have visited the hotel many times as we find the service, location and rooms very good. In our last visit (18/1/25) Rooms were very clean, food was nice and service was excellent
The only good thing was the sauna and the indoor pool which was at very good temperature. We went for New Year’s Eve and the program was a little bit boring

All staff were brilliant, but wanted to mention the cleaning staff, they were so friendly and made a fuss of the children, leaving a animal (made put of towels!) On the bed morning, Elpida, Artemis, Galina, thank you,
Would highly recommend for a great family holiday
We wanted to try everything!!! Also its a must to thank the entertainment team for great activities, mini disco which our child enjoyed so much and the evening show
We had a brilliant family holiday, the waterpark was our favourite, there was so much to do for everyone, the food was great, we loved all the restaurants too
Water park - wave pool never had any waves. Height restriction is 120cm for the slides
Food - lots of options, quality was good. Kids sections with hash browns, nuggets etc
They run out by the main pool very quickly. No lilos allowed in the pool unless it has a net based bed. Pool bar that's half in the water you can't order from inside the pool. No drinks allowed in the pool
Burger restaurant was also better than expected. Games rooms - basket ball machine, balls vanished which was a mystery to the staff. Pool table is 1 euro per play. Entertainment- Day time, lots of nothing

For families with kids
The hotel is older, with small rooms, but it has a children's playroom, an outdoor playground, and a small gym. Additionally, there are slides and pools for kids
Despite the initial negative impression due to the age of the building, the staff working at the hotel more than make up for it. I highly recommend it for families with children
All of the staff are friendly and helpful and offer a range of entertainments each day. We spent some time in the gym & spa centre which makes a nice change from the pool
The service at the hotel and pools is excellent, and the meals are amazing, with a different variety every day. Furthermore, there is live music every evening
We had some lovely meals together and it became a real feature of our holiday. It’s also good to relax by the pools with drinks and snacks readily available
The only downside is that the hotel seems focused on English guests. For instance, most of the entertainment, including songs, is only in English, and the food in the canteen leans heavily towards English cuisine

The staff were all very friendly and polite (Especially Maria, who was incredible with our little children), they offer a great kids club, there are a wide range of pools and sunbed areas to choose from and the range of food was of a high standard
We have just returned from an 11 night stay at Sofianna resort. We have visited many hotels as a family over the years and this has to be one of the best
There are too many fantastic staff members to name you all but I can't thank the animation team enough, they have really done an outstanding job and helped to make my granddaughter's first holiday abroad a very memorable one and the first show of the season was fantastic
Pool was very cold this time of year but if you were brave enough you could manage a few lengths (which we tried and swam as quickly as possible!!) Sunbeds were easy to get no matter the time of day, but I am not sure what it would be like in the summer
There are designated smoking areas in the hotel and my partner did hear from a few other guests that the hotel may charge you €20 if caught smoking in room/balcony/non smoking areas but not sure how true this may be as he stuck to smoking areas
My wife and I are now back in England after spending our seventh stay at the Sofianna Resort and Spa. Everything there remains exceptional from the rooms to the staff to the food and all other amenities

Great food
Great coffee
Great view
Great staff
Great pools
If you look for a place to relax and think of nothing, this is your place
No parties, no children, just relax and enjoy all the great facilities this place has to offer
We stayed in room 2606, which had a lovely view of the pool and sea – definitely a highlight. The room wasn't huge but was more than big enough for us, clean and comfortable
The pools were great, and I really appreciated the lounger allocation system – something I was initially skeptical about, but it worked well
Beach bar was a real highlight, the chaps working the bar were great! Room was lovely, air-conditioning was excellent and much needed. Netflix in the room was a bonus too. Couldn’t fault anything really
We are just back from 7 nights at St George. Gorgeous resort, had just about everything you could possibly ask for in an Adults Only hotel & spa

We ended up having to walk 30 minutes down to the beach and pay for sunbeds, food and drinks even though we had paid for an all inclusive holiday. Obviously adding cost to our holiday
I recently had a fantastic stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it. The hotel is spotless and clean, and the staff are incredibly helpful and polite
We came as a family with three small children (all under 6), and they really enjoyed it. The only downside was the room we got — it was in one of the older buildings and felt a bit outdated, with not enough lighting
The all-inclusive food was a major highlight—probably the best I've tasted abroad. We loved the five pools, especially the kids' slides, which were a huge hit
The hotel facilities were perfect for kids, and the pool was a lot of fun. The water in the big pool was a bit warm, but to be fair, the weather was very hot during our stay
Then the entertainment team! WOW they are so calm and understanding with the kids even when they need some help! And this hotel is in a great spot right around the corner is kings Mall not only that it’s connected to Mayfair gardens they have 3 amazing pool an arcade and more there is also the flying pig witch is half apart of the hotel but u have to pay even thought u have to pay it’s worth it the...

Arrived late, checked in by the lovely Angela, who is a credit to the hotel. Given a cold drink and a warm welcome. Our room was facing the pool as requested. Beds and pillows were extremely comfortable
Complimentary tea and coffee, was replenished daily, basic toiletries are also provided. The pool ares is beautiful with well kept garden's, plenty of sun loungers
The hotel should make this a restriction. Hence by the time we went for a walk etc, there was no available sunbeds around the pool so we never got to use it
Great location with lots of bars and restaurants, Tea for two is well with a visit. The hotel shop is extremely well priced and great for essentials. The bar prices were great, cocktail of the day £3
Basic entertainment on an evening. Lots of people seem to go out. Special mention for Ash who worked so hard making sure everyone was having a great time
Just perfect is all we really have to say about this hotel. It’s immaculate in every way. The cleaning staff work so hard , so a massive shout out to all of you that give it your all to make this such a beautiful hotel

The water pressure in the shower room is not strong enough. There are more breakfast options. The swimming pool is a bit small. Overall, the price-performance ratio is average
The hotel boasts excellent cleanliness standards, which I appreciated. Even in winter, the indoor pool and gym let me keep up with my routine
Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was very spacious for a 4 member family. The hotel though feels a bit outdated and screams for renovation. If you are on a budget this is probably a good option
Good hotel. Staff excellent and food good. Pool very cold.all inclusive bar got everything. Singers on most evenings.
However, the front reception staff were very friendly, the reception was very nice and well decorated! We were impressed with the hotels entertainment as there was something going on every day
Has evening entertainment every night for the guests, the rooms are big, there are several pools for adults and kids
