Salamis Bay Conti Resort Hotel in Famagusta

It wasn’t our first stay at the Salamis Hotel, and it certainly won’t be our last. There are many reasons why we keep returning: the food is excellent, the rooms are spacious and spotless, and the drinks are of very good quality. But beyond all of that, there are other important reasons why we choose the Salamis again and again. Starting from the moment we arrive, the reception team sets the tone for the stay. The staff are kind, patient, and professional without ever feeling distant or cold. Anastasia is exceptionally pleasant and efficient, although to be honest, the entire reception team deserves praise. The restaurant offers delicious and varied food, and for special occasions they create lovely touches such as beautifully arranged dinner tables or cocktails. These little additions make the experience feel fresh and thoughtful. For example, on the 8th of March every woman received a lovely small gift when entering the restaurant for dinner, which was a very nice surprise. I’m starting to think that Suleiman (one of the waiters) might be a mind reader—he always seems to appear at exactly the right moment with exactly what you need. That said, the whole team works incredibly hard. They are fast and efficient, but never make guests feel rushed. The rooms have always been spotless—both on arrival and throughout the stay. Whenever we needed something extra or requested maintenance, it was handled with impressive speed and precision. Whenever we had questions or small issues, the guest relations team was extremely helpful, especially on the 13th of February. I’m sorry I can’t remember her name, but she was wonderful and deserves recognition.

This hotel excels in every aspekt. The location is wonderful on a beautiful beach with acsess from the Spa to the sea.the Spa offer all amenities including a Hamster, steak room and Sauna,gym and indoor Pool.The food and drinks are first class,entertainment also.You couldn't find a better hotel anywhere .the housekeeping is fantastic ,a lady called Saodet keep everything to the highest Standard,even the room Bar is kept full and included in the price Altogher fabulous

Cough cough* I don't know where to begin First of all, we wanted you to know how happy we are to have joined the Salamis family. I say family because we felt that warmth like a family. It was our first family vacation for my 1-year-old son's birthday. I hope this beautiful vacation becomes a ritual that we do every year on the same date. We stayed for 3 nights and 4 days, but for the first time we realized we didn't miss home It really left a lasting impression on us. Restaurant: I don't remember their names exactly, but whoever your chef was, he was excellent. Everything we ate was wonderful, congratulations to him. (My only suggestion is that there should be a sushi stand in the restaurant in the mornings and afternoons, but not in the evenings. Why? Who eats sushi in the morning? It's a shame for the guy who just stands there doing nothing ) Bar: Mr. Halil and all the service staff were incredibly attentive and made us feel special. As a family living in Antalya and coming from the tourism sector, we understood why the staff were so happy. You exceeded expectations because you are financially stable and it's very clear that you keep your staff happy. Reception: Mr. Eren handled our check-in at 9 am and directed us to breakfast. When we returned, our room keys and room were ready, and as you know, check-in time is 2:09 pm The only negative was that we didn't get enough information, but that's our fault, we didn't ask so early. However, the hotel is built in an easily accessible location; everything is so neatly arranged that access is very easy, you don't feel like you're in a labyrinth Ms. Anastasia was very attentive and didn't turn down any of our requests, thank you. Your friendliness is enough, what more do we need? ☺️ Guest Relations: We met the team for my son’s birthday. They all took very good care of him, especially my son A very sweet, respectful and loving team. I must mention dear Mr. Eyüp, I thought he was the department head His speed in handling things, his attitude, his way of speaking, his friendliness, and the attention he showed to my son made us feel truly special guests. Please give him a promotion, I hope he reaches the position he deserves as soon as possible. We wanted a simple celebration with a small cake in the room, but he thought Kayra deserved a celebration with live music in the Mini Club, and we had unforgettable moments. A huge "thank you" to him. The only thing we've talked about since last night is this holiday. If fate allows, we are thinking of going again in May or June. We really want the same room. Finally, we are grateful to your hotel manager, Mr. Süleyman. He is the cornerstone of a happy team. I hope he always takes care of his staff and treats them with such respect I don't know the hotel owners, but we are grateful for making this holiday possible. Room we spacious and very clean good size bathroom with large walk-in shower again was very clean almost spotless. Food & Drinks were excellent with plenty of choice. Very enjoyable stay and will definitely book this hotel again.

I liked everything. Of course, the hotel is not new, but for every minus (and there are not many) there are many pluses. The territory is thought out, so that, despite the large number of guests, no one bothers each other. All the rooms in the main building have a sea view, but half of them also overlook the utility block, we lived in one of these on the 3rd floor. It was noisy from the pipes that are located there. We had to use the balcony only for drying clothes. Although friends who lived further from us along the corridor for 5 rooms said that they were quiet. But there are many locations with beautiful views. And thanks to the presence of the pier and the location of the pools, you can sunbathe until sunset. The room has a spacious safe, the minibar is included. There is a lot of staff, the territory is cleaned. The animation is good, you can do something all day if you want. The food is varied, tasty, drinks are high-quality, branded ones are also included. Ice cream, milkshakes, nuts, etc., refrigerators with water and ayran are conveniently located throughout the territory. All inclusive can be used until the evening on the day of departure, also on the day of arrival they immediately put on a bracelet before checking in. A taxi, which can be ordered at the hotel to Ercan airport, costs 2800 lira, this is expensive. We left for 2000 lira, local friends ordered a taxi. In general, an excellent option for a family vacation for reasonable money.

The staff was very friendly and makes the guests feel special. The behavior of everyone working at the hotel always made us happy.

Although the facility was a little old, both the rooms and common areas were clean. It was pleasing to see that the sun lounger cushions were wiped regularly and the cooking and presentation areas were cleaned thoroughly when the meal time was over.

Food variety and taste were quite sufficient. We usually arrived at the restaurant 1 hour after the meal start time and were able to eat as we wanted without waiting in line. We were happy to have alternatives such as freshly cooked products and a surprise Chinese buffet.

We were equally pleased with all the bars and pool/beach services. With music and casino, we had a pleasant time without having to leave the hotel.

Areas that need improvement are bed comfort and sound and light insulation of the room. Guest relations and housekeeping helped us with the bed, but the beds still need to be renewed and blackout curtains need to be installed in the room for a more comfortable sleep. Adding sound insulation to the doors would also be helpful.

The hotel was clean, the sea was beautiful, and the service was good. Unfortunately, the reception was weak; it was difficult to find a waiter, and the same type of game was played repeatedly.
