Nice little independent hotel in the western periphery of Nicosia (500m from city centre). The building itself and surroundings have a quaint character. Would need some renovation of the fixtures inside the rooms. Great service at the reception and breakfast!

The hotel's location is cozy: quite area, not for from historical center.
There was almost no service: no stuff in the hotel, just a guy, to whom you may call and describe your issue, and he maybe will fix it when he comes to a hotel tomorrow, or the day after. If... Maybe... You better sit there waiting for him all day, otherwise he'll most probably forget.
And there are issues: there lived a rat in one of the rooms, conditioners weren't working in number of rooms, in some rooms there was inly a hot (!) water, and in there was no water at all. Some rooms are very small, fridges do not always work and so on.

As Nicosia doesn't have many cheap hotels, but this hotel is not very expensive and is located outside of the walls of Nicosia, around 15 minutes' walk to the city centre.
The staffs speak fluent English. They will tell how to cross the green line to the Turkish side and to return in a day.
The neighbourhood is a quiet residential area.
Take care that there's another hotel with the same name, but it's more expensive.

Incredible value for the money at this budget, old style hotel. Definitely not fancy in any way - on the contrary! - but the friendly staff, quiet good location and the clean room was that mattered for us. Guess we got a special deal but we paid less than EUR 60 for a double room - and a very decent breakfast was included! There was even an espresso (capsule) machine at the buffet which was great :) Note that some of the one star reviews for this hotel are not reviews at all, just the one star rating which really doesn't say anything at all.

The hotel has this authentic and old architectural style, that grabs your attention once you go on. The reception staff are so cooperative and friendly. Rooms are spacious, there were 3 extra beds than we needed . As for the location, you need a 5 min car ride from the hotel to the city centre ( Ledra street ), which wasn't bad.

Nice little cozy hotel with authentic Greek architecture. Located in beautiful and quite neighborhood, in walking distance from city center. Amazing staff. Breakfast was also good. However, I wish there were some kind of mini bar in the room or at least coffee and tea with water boiler.

The staff was excellent...... Really great
But the hotel remind me of hotels from Eastern Europe, and not in a good way. The hotel is placed in a strange spot, the standard is poor, the cleaning is bad, the breakfast is terrible.
The beds was do bad. When I went to bed, I could feel the bottom of the bed, as if there was no mattress at all. Worst bed EVER
The ventilator at the bathroom was filthy, and made an unbelievable high noise. Check the pictures, and you'll have an idea of was you can expect
