Spa Resort PAWLIK-AQUAFORUM in Frantiskovy Lazne

Let's begin with a description of our experience with the travel agency: (February 17-24, 2026) Thank you again for your personal efforts on February 17th regarding the hotel in Pavlik, Franzensbad. We were informed at reception around 1:00 PM that there had been a burst water pipe in building B. Our room was affected, and they wanted to book us into the Hotel Imperial. We read the information about the Imperial and decided that it was not comparable accommodation, especially regarding the meals served in the same format as the drinks. Furthermore, direct access to the water park is not possible, which was a specific request we made before the trip, with the same benefits as those offered here at the hotel. We initially declined this offer from the receptionist. I pointed out that we would gladly accept an upgrade to avoid escalating the situation. She then told me they were completely full and that there were no rooms available, neither in building A nor in building B! We disagreed with the information we received, as we were now standing at reception. She went to her supervisor, the room manager, and argued with her for several minutes before the room manager also approached us and explained that they were very sorry, but they had no room available; they were 100% booked. Even if they wanted to, it simply wasn't possible. A room upgrade, which I had requested, was also denied. No space, sorry! I ended the conversation and said I would speak with my travel provider, Bohemia Reisen. Which I then did. We had specifically requested the Hotel Pawlik at the time, as we had had a less than positive experience at the Hotel Belverde a year and a half earlier (during a spa stay over the Christmas holidays). I don't want to go into that again today. I then received a call back from their office saying that the hotel manager would contact us shortly. By then, we had been sitting at reception for 45 minutes. Afterwards, the room manager contacted us again and handed us the keys to building A, room 185, without any fuss. We were amazed that it suddenly worked! All the more reason for me to reiterate how angry I am that I was still being lied to by the hotel staff, especially the reception! For a hotel, the best hotel in town, I would have expected a bit more responsibility! Especially since no apology was offered; the room key was simply handed over. That was it. A sorry? Not a chance! I'm curious to see if the hotel will offer any kind of apology at all! We hope for a positive experience at the hotel now so we can remember it fondly. If only for a future trip, which we plan to book with them again. So, for the recipe...

Calm location, great spa treatments, very friendly staff, restaurants, inner and outdoor swimming pool … Only few remarks to be considered - refrigerator in the room was completely useless (rather heating than cooling), natural/mineral water in the room was just for the first day …

Nice, stylish hotel. Breakfest is on avarage level. I suggest to use aquapark later after 5 p. m. Otherwise could be quite full.

We spent three nights in Pawlik and were absolutely excited by and satisfied with accommodation, food and other services. All staff was very pleasant and supportive creating a very friendly atmosphere. Our wellness procedures were pllanned in advance and when we asked for small changes, responsible persons tried to help us and meet our requirements. The location is great as you can use the Aquacentrum without any limits. Clening services were super. We experienced beautiful walking in the spa park and other options for the short trips in the close suburb. Really grest stay here, we want to come again.

In general, it was very good stay, but:
- 1 massage was forgotten and then given (another type) by a separate request;
- oplatky were not given at all though they were mentioned in the reservation;
- only one piece of soap and a tube of shampoo (~25-30 mL) were given for the whole stay (4 nights).

I have been visiting hotel Pawlik since 2014 and it's always a pleasure to come back. Nice, clean rooms, service is absolutely spot on and the staff is just so nice and lovely even though my child is a little bit high maintenance :D I really appreciate how everybody is so helpful and nice and of course,my son loves everybody but the most - the Aquapark :)))

Nice hotel, but I expected more, considering it's a 4 stars hotel... The food is good, but if you stay more than one week it's a lot the same. Big advantage is direct connection with the Aquaforum and Císařské lázně, the staff is nice and helpful, the location next to the park and near the city center is convenient and calm. The rooms are comfortable, but as we paid for a superior room I expected it to be bigger and better equipped, the shower is too small, rooms not well soundproofed. The spa treatment is a bit disappointing, some procedures are too short (15 minutes for massages or physiotherapy make almost no effect). But overall the stay here is relaxing and enjoyable.

in my opinion, the best spa hotel in cz, considering the price aspects. 4s stsr hotel, food is fresh and delicious, broad selection of spa pricedures, big wellness centre connected to the building with an underground corridor, so that one can leave his hotel room just in a bathrobe... I like it.
