Walked in with 3 kids and very kindly asked that my 4 year old needed to use a bathroom. They charged us CZK 50. If you really have to ask, then maybe 20 CZK would be appropriate.

Nice place to stay, close to everything

The room is small but new. The room service is good. But the food is terrible..they feed you unhealthy food and it's very tasteless...for 4 stars it's a complete sadness...the pool is icy...I never got to the sauna..in the evening they sit there in rows. Beautiful hotel with a magnificent view since it is located on top of a hill. A little bit of a walk to the Main Street but it makes the area quiet when it’s time to rest and recharge. Definitely recommend!

The hotel is old but has a nice feel. It was nice to stay for one night with breakfast included. The pool was not heated. It was 8 degrees Celsius on the day of our stay and it was too cold to go in. The sauna room was awkward because the men were sharing the same room with each other.

In general, it was very good stay, but: - 1 massage was forgotten and then given (another type) by a separate request; - oplatky were not given at all though they were mentioned in the reservation; - only one piece of soap and a tube of shampoo (~25-30 mL) were given for the whole stay (4 nights).

I have been visiting hotel Pawlik since 2014 and it's always a pleasure to come back. Great location with a multilingual staff! The free 3-hour access to Saunia is a big plus + the added convenience of an in-house clinic that offers several therapies as well as spa services. The breakfast buffet is very filling and varied. All in all, a very convenient location and hotel stay!

My wife and I had a wonderful stay due primarily to a wonderful, caring and humane staff. When we checked in Jana and Petr immediately made us feel at home at this beautiful facility. The warm atmosphere continued throughout everywhere we went including the treatment by the restaurant staff, especially our waitress Katerina. We are grateful for our visit here.

True 5-star experience from parking to spa. Great breakfast and dinner tasting menu. Good wine list also. Pools open early & late. Area around hotel gives easy access to shopping and sights. Underground parking has direct elevator access to rooms. Asked for recommendation for gift options and was referred to local florist that was excellent.

The atmosphere is unbeatable - historic building with modern amenities

The hotel captures/keeps alive the old grandeur from when Karlovy Vary was a playground for the 18th century aristocrats, or so I get the feeling. Great location, parking right there in front or in the back (set up ahead of time would be easier), great rooms, great breakfast, and super helpful staff. Among your many options for staying in town, definitely consider this one.

The stuff is absolutely not interested in making stay comfortable. Checkin and checkout process are ruining all experience. plus, one of the 2 elevators doesn’t work properly making it very irritating to use. They charge twice for the same service

We booked the Art Deco Wolker Astoria. There's no reception and the hotel is not accessible by car... and the parking is quite far away. You have to go to another hotel to get your room key. The same goes for breakfast. So really inconvenient. The reception staff were very friendly and moved us to another hotel. Otherwise, a very pleasant stay.
