2 star hotels in Punta Cana

I can say Nothing just the experience it was so good and amazing everything cleaned pool was great so relax I’m gonna give a 5 Stars to the Marimba Hotel Thanks You!!

Very well located, in the centre close to shops and restaurants, very friendly staff, basic but included breakfast, large room with plenty of space.

Cash only; there's an ATM in the hotel lobby with ridiculously high transaction fees.

It is OK to spend a night.  Breakfast is not continental, everyday the same.  Internet was not good. TV with no Chanel.  lol.    Language only Spanish.  Towels was soap smelled.

About 20 kilometers from the airport. The room is of medium size but the mattress is too soft. Breakfast is two slices of bread and scrambled eggs!

The hotel is quite good when compared with hotels in this price category. With security and a barrier, hot water, drinking water in the lobby. Breakfast is modest, scrambled eggs and toast.

The beach is impossible to get to. There are huge hotels on the road that don't allow people to cross their property. I had to walk halfway around town or take a taxi. There was no hot water, apparently they were renovating something. The water in the pool was cloudy with rust. The breakfast was disgusting 🤮 The only positive is the low price. I recommend paying extra and staying somewhere decent!

Nice place. property put a little bit wrong location. with is ok for Dominican Republic). It is not so close to the beach as on the map. it is 30 min walking or 8 min drive which is not bad. staff is good , location is the best for night life which is I was looking for. I give them 5 stars. Probably this place not for the family or individual who looking for luxury stay.

It was okay they can do better the doors dont lock right and no warm water

Bedroom 101 had close but you couldn't put your clothes in there. Not prepared for it at all. Bathroom floor kept wet at all times because water is coming up?? TV not useful. Had cable message on screen asking to call to get fix????? Restaurants, there is one right next door. And some others as well. They all very over price. Well, I am Dominican and I know punta cana is known to be just for tourist...

Good hotel for the price, excellent value for money

Decent for the price If you want to stay somewhat near the beach but not pay for a big resort, it's a decent place. Not best for families as there are two clubs next door playing loud music until late at night, but overall good for the lrice

Good location and good price. It’s only 4 mins walking from the beach. The hosts are nice and the place is very clean. Yes, it’s more quiet and has more rules compared to backpacker hostels, but it’s good if you don’t like noisy and messy hostels.

Perfect location, feels like a home. Perfect hosts. I stayed here for almost 8 days. Really satisfied. Andrew and Valentino are like parents to people who stay there. They arranged some tours and gave us some information. You can easily access to the beach and restuarant or market to buy groceries

GAVA is amazing!! I went by myself and brought my husband back a year later. It is affordable and they are extremely accommodating. When other arrangements fell through they allowed us to come on short notice as well as another guest. It is a small quieter hostel (which I loved). I had one of the best experiences during my stay at Hostel Gava in Punta Cana. The place was clean, calm, and respectful, making it a perfect spot for a relaxing vacation. This was a great location at the heart of Punta Cana, within a walking distance to the beach. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Valentine was extremely accommodating to our needs. We also ended up making new friends by the end of our stay!
