The staff, ABSOLUTELY all of them, are extremely attentive and kind. I would recommend this resort a thousand times for the exceptional service. From the reception to the waiters and room service

Staff was phenomenal I never tipped as much as I did on this trip Armando the front desk staff was amazing he arranged all of my dinners at restaurants and helped with almost everything

Staff were all very nice. Denny the bell hop, the young fellow who checked us in, Alexa were all especially great and deserve recognition. Overall a great experience.

Bahía Príncipe was amazing all around the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The kids club teachers were rockstars! Entertainment was outstanding!

The amenities were a major highlight, from the well-kept pools and beach access to the wide variety of food options that catered to different tastes

Excellent service, great resort. Clean, good wifi, easy access to whole GBP complex. Buffet food and restaurants could be improved. And smoking should not be permitted poolside.

Staff were very welcoming hotel and their grounds very clean the transportation around the grounds very convenient. I tried a few restaurants they were very good the activities were fun the shows are very entertaining.

The beach team — Yohan, Youhansey, Elvyn, Lorena, Jeffery, Arhensay, and Nury — created a seamless, relaxed experience each day, while Scooby at the pool brought warmth, attentiveness, and an inviting atmosphere

The employees are all so nice, always ready to serve happily- and in here, I have to say: Scooby (Edward) that works in the Sun Pool, is a incredible person, excepcional charisma

Great pool! Beautiful beaches. The snack bar by the pool did not have the best choices and the food was not that good. Same fried food each day.

There was always something to do, with lots of entertainment throughout the day and night, including pool activities, dance areas, live music, and performances

The noise level is rarely below 60 decibels. I was next door to the gym and the outdoor music started at 6:15 am. Restaurants were between 70 and 80 decibels. Each pool is louder than the last

The bar closed at 11 everyday pools close at 6 and do you research before going it's spread out and unclear what you can do or not to do bars restaurants activity ect

Great experience, first time going on a family trip with my two kids, everything worked out great with the hotel. The amenities were great and all staff members were accommodating and helpful.

Stay at the resort was overall good, the part in which the Resort needs improvement is the food. The food options and flavor are not up to par with the facility. Food bland, and did not impress

I had problems with check-in, I waited 1 hour longer than agreed and they gave me the wrong room, I booked a room and they gave me another and they didn't want to change it.

Try the french restaurant, good service and great food. Avoid the Rodizio restaurant , poor service , food just ok. Over all is a great hotel but some of the employees need better training .

Punta Cana is beautiful! The resort is very big and has all that anyone could wish. Beach is fabulous! The food is top notch. Service is fantastic! The rooms are clean

Fun hotel with plenty of pools for those who enjoy music and quiet areas for relaxation. The themed parties are some of the best. Good, modern, and welcoming facilities. In my experience, the staff were very attentive

I felt really bad for the people I recommended, but this time, unfortunately, Riu ruined all my expectations and made me not want to be there at all. The food was good, although there was little variety in the buffets

I complained, and they simply told me they were going to escalate the issue. The facilities look like any basic hotel: damaged elevators, exposed electrical wires, and bathrooms that smelled awful and weren't clean

They wouldn't let us into the restaurants even during the designated hours. Initially, they gave me a room, but when they opened it, there were still people there—in other words, the security was awful

The ocean water is not clear, so not the best for snorkeling but our stay was great - good food, good entertainment, good pools and GREAT drinks! While our stay was good overall, Miguel is the reason we will be back! The resort is incredibly lucky to have such an exceptional employee!

My husband and I, along with our friends, were vacationing at Barcelo Bavaro Beach this December. We just returned and can’t wait till next year to go there again. This is our 12th time in the same resort

Keila Rijo from the Entertainment team is an absolute LEGEND. From day one she brought nonstop energy, genuine warmth, and that rare vibe that instantly makes you feel like you belong at the resort

The beach is amazing, it’s in the top 5 best beaches in the world, everyone in the hotel staff works very hard to make your stay pleasant, worry free and enjoyable

I would also like to express my gratitude to the bartenders Marino and Glenys at the Platinum pool, as well as the bartenders at the beach bar

They are lovely and will help with everything. The beach is great pool crowded food beautiful facilities are amazing

At the time, I assumed I had misplaced them and even checked with Lost & Found, but nothing was reported. Given what I discovered later, I now believe those were stolen as well. This situation is very distressing

These were not items left out in the open — they were placed בתוך my personal belongings, which indicates that someone went through my things. During my stay, my sunglasses also disappeared

I have contacted the hotel and requested an investigation, but I want to make other travelers aware of this experience. I strongly recommend exercising caution if staying at this resort

What is most concerning is the lack of security — guests should feel safe leaving their belongings in their room without fear of someone searching through their personal items

Lovely beach but there aren't a lot of sunbeds for all the hotel guests. The pool is also nice and it's convenient that it's right by the beach and close to the bar

This place is absolutely beautiful! This is our third time visiting and there are so many reasons to keep coming back! The beach is perfect, well kept and has so many loungers! The pools are great! We loved their restaurants and the buffet is a convenient and delicious back up for every meal

This time everything was open & we enjoyed being at the large adults only pool & doing water aerobics there too. (The guys running that were fantastic and each person working the bar area too)

I had the best time with my huge family! Everyone who works at this resort is so wonderful and accommodating! Aniblaisy from the entertainment team turned my trip from a 10/10 to a 100/10! She was so kind to me every time we spoke! She introduced me to do some activities and I had so much fun every time! Also, a shoutout to housekeeping! Not only was my hotel room the best hotel room I’ve ever stayed...

Super nice resort, regarding some of the drama reviews it's what you make of it. The food is so-so, you can't beat the location as the beach is spectacular. The rooms are nice, staff is great

I thought housekeeping was very clean. I notice a big water bug roach on the hallway floors. I put a towel under room 3009 front door to keep any bugs out. Maybe weather striping under door will help

It showed signs of poor maintenance, had a damp odor, visible mold in the shower corners, a loose toilet seat, and a leaking sink that required placing a towel on the floor

The changing room doors by the pools are on backwards so everyone can see in but you can't see out. We noticed a downward trend in the RIU hotels in punta cana since we started going there

The room was clean, pool hours were more limited, the equipment in the gym is broken and have been for years. The food was not as good as most other Riu hotels

We have stayed at lots of Riu hotels all around the world because we like the all inclusive service and pools

Great place! Everyone is so friendly, the food is good, and there is plenty to do. No one is at the pool right when they open in the morning.

The overall cleanliness is excellent, as is the maintenance of the hotel and rooms. However, the staff's service is terrible. Upon arrival, there was no one to help me with my luggage; no one would budge

Fabulous experience! The beach is beautiful! The rooms were spacious and the entire property is very clean! The staff was attentive and super friendly! The pools were refreshing! Note-the swim up bar had kids in it

and while there was a bar, there were no bartenders (there were on the walk up side. but servers come right to the pool, too)

When I checked in, the room smelled of paint. No one explained that I needed towel cards, nor did they provide them. The hotel is large, and I wasted an entire afternoon changing rooms and going back to claim the cards

I have no complaints, the people that serve are as usual, cordial, kind and ready to serve us. The Dominican Republic is one of my favorite nations to visit, because of the reasons I mentioned.

The rooms were scrubbed daily, floors mopped and all requests followed as asked - Very clean! The staff and their service is what stood out the most - in the best way possible

It doesn't end there ; Ramon at Bluemoon has service that you could put up against anybody in the world ; Naomi at the pool bar made sure the drinks were never empty, all whilst keeping the energy up and having a smile - no matter the weather! All of the F&B staff were amazing and we didn't have a single bad experience

From the start, it was an amazing experience. Jose, our concierge, is the one who made the trip even better with his incredible service

We never had to worry about reservations, and he continuously made sure we knew about all of the activities going on that day

Even on his days off, he was available at any time - I would go back to El Beso just for his service

Overall, I would book this resort again in a heartbeat - it's a shame the trip wasn't even longer

After a few days, it became monotonous, and I found myself wishing for more variety and better-tasting dishes. Lastly, the pool closed quite early at 7:30 PM

It has been a wonderful experience, we came for 4 days and have no regrets so far. The children's kids club has been wonderful and entertaining for the children and there's plenty of adult entertainment as well

The beach is stunning with soft white sand and clear water, and there were always plenty of loungers. The pools were also great, with both fun and relaxing areas

First of all! Best butler is Carlos Rosario! You need to get in contact with him at your arrival, he will take care of all your needs and make sure you get a VIP experience! The resort is amazing with super nice rooms and views

My first all inclusive experience and it was beyond my expectation. I had a swim out room and was part of the preferred club, with a personal butler and food concierge to cater for halal food

The room was always very clean. The staff were ALL very friendly. The gardens/yards were always clean & tidy. The food was excellent every day…… except Monday (yesterday)

We booked a preferred swim-up room at the family pool, which was absolutely perfect for our group with children. The service we received was truly exceptional

Castillo, the bartender at the preferred family pool, went above and beyond every single day. He quickly learned all of our drink orders and always had our favorites ready

Castillo is by far the best bartender we've ever encountered at a resort! Our butler/concierge Albert was equally amazing. He was attentive, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay

When we mentioned it was my mother-in-law's birthday, Albert took care of everything—he arranged beautiful decorations for her room, ordered a gorgeous cake, and had fresh flowers delivered

My first time in Dom rep. Hotel is great. The staff are excellent. Bar staff are very friendly. David is a great guy, very professional. The pools are beautiful. I would like to come back next year with my family.

The resort was not too busy in September which was nice because we always found a spot on the beach, by the pool, water park and best of all they always had towels

On our last day she made a special towel deco for the kids. Pedro at Expedia counter desk was always friendly and kind. He was so helpful that he upgraded our rooms to family suites for privacy and extra space

We enjoyed this resort and the food selection at the buffet was really good. The paella, seafood and soups were our favourites. My family of three (including a toddler) stayed for 6 nights and no complaints

My family of 33 went to this resort early August, it was gorgeous! Sandy at the front desk is the best. She is so patient and provides amazing customer service. And Pedro the server is amazing as well

The rooms are beautiful and room service and cleaning is great. The food is amazing! And we loved the entertainment as well. We felt very safe in the hotel as well

When getting ready to leave, you can ask for the bellboys to get the baggage with you back to the lobby in one of the golf cars that they use to move around

People working there were always very helpful whenever assistance was needed. Food was tasty, and the room we booked (suite with swim out) was awesome

The place is very big, so be aware that there will be quite a bit of walking to get to the lobby (where most restaurants are)

Estalin was great and made sure our stay was comfortable and great.

When we were leaving, the baby lost the bracelet because her hands are too small for it. She forced us to pay $50 for it. She told us that she won't check us out until we paid the money

When we were coming in, the lady at the front desk named "Claudia" put a bracelet key in my baby's hand even though they knew that the baby is not going to open the door

We used the Privilege pool and the 2 attendants, Carlos and Daniel, were superb! There were plenty of towels and both Carlos and Daniel made sure we always had plenty of drinks and food! I recommend if you want pool chairs with umbrellas, you need to get them early as most are taken by 9:00 AM and only chairs without umbrellas are left

Exceptional Service at the Privilege Pool & Bar Four days into our stay at Ocean Blue and Sand, we felt compelled to recognize the incredible experience provided by Daniel De La Rosa, Carlos Charles, and Antonio Gomez at the Privilege pool and bar

Everything was made fresh and was absolutely delicious. The rooms were spectacular as well; every detail exceeded expectations. Overall, everything about this stay was exceptional, and I would happily return

The warmth, kindness, and genuine hospitality we experienced meant more than words can say. I truly cannot recommend this place enough. Be sure to book the steakhouse. I highly recommend the New York steak
