Reviews
Worst experience ever. Room also wi bathroom problems. Will never return to this hotel and not recommend for anyone.
This resort was absolutely gross, dirty and food was horrible nothing fresh. Found a cockroach in our room. Staff was not helpful and rude and pushy. The staff was inappropriate towards me and other ladies making it hard to enjoy the beach, I did not feel safe at any point in my stay. My boyfriend and I went to the club at night to at least enjoy music and a drink, nothing but hoodlums and smoking everywhere. There was a guy laying on the couch smoking a blunt at the entrance of our building. Not to mention we got a ride on the golf cart to bring us to our room. The young driver was speeding like a maniac and stopped to give his boys high five. There was cats roaming around were you eat food, my boyfriend ask a worker to remove the cat cause he is allergic and they did nothing, not to mention that’s not sanitary, this place was a nightmare and to top it off. We both left sick with stomach issues among bowel issues. We did not drink the water. It could have been the ice or the food.
We only had enough coffee in the room for one person and no condiments, I stirred his coffee with a toothbrush. The end of course, This place is dirty. Just plain filthy . Punta Cana is absolutely amazing if yr looking for great service and clean wonderful food, there is so much more I can say but I hope you get the just of this trip from hell.
Bathrooms: There are a few scattered around the resort, and they are okay. It usually smells damp but they are cleaned often. The bathroom in the rooms have a lot of issues though. There is no proper drainage for the shower, so water leaks everywhere. The toilet also was leaking so not a good experience.
Food: they advertise like 6 restaurants, but what they don’t mention is that 4 of those are closed almost everyday. And to book those 4 not so good restaurants on the odd day they are open you need to wait in line at 8pm for 30 minutes to book a reservation. There is also a snack bar by the beach that has long lines and wet food, and a buffet. This buffet got 3 of my friends food poisoning. The meat wasn’t cooked at all, and meat was pretty much all they had. Couldn’t enjoy any eating. To summarize, nope.
Service: They tried to help, but most problems there was not much they could do. And if you don’t speak fluent Spanish, half the time they won’t even understand you and ignore you.
Activities: They had the pools (advertise 3 but only 2 open to guests for some reason), the beach which was great but flooded with vendors and random people. Other than that they had some dance parties and shows but nothing special. During the day everyone is pretty bored. It’s a very narrow land.
Location: Apparently lots of crime so they had a couple security guards but the beach was nice.
Housecleaning: They clean the rooms really nicely, moping and refilling water. There’s not much they can do with the engineering faults of the rooms.
ALSO THERE ARE WILD DOGS AND CATS AND HUGE COCKROACHES EVERYWHERE, INCLUDING BUFFET AND NO EMPLOYEE WILL HELP. just a warning to anyone allergic or who doesn’t like 4 cats trying to eat the same uncooked meat you are trying to eat.
Also a lot of people who live close by come for the day and pay little money, so it’s ridiculously crowded and loud, they run out of towels and plates for the actually guests.
You get the gist. If you benefitted from this review, please leave a like. :)
