We stayed here 2 nights before our Nile River cruise and enjoyed every minute of it! All the staff were so friendly and accommodating, especially Mohamed. He made himself readily available for all our needs. He was extremely helpful in arranging rides by car or felucca, or tours. We especially enjoyed his little lessons of Nubian prases!
This property was very comfortable, the food was amazing and it is walking distance into the heart of the Nubian Village.
Very nice stay. Would recommend.

We had a lovely 2 night stay in a large 2br suite. Hotel was clean and quiet. The included breakfast was in a lovely location and had plenty of options. We arrived late the first night and were greeted warmly with a welcome hibiscus drink while check in was finalized and then taken to our room. The area immediately surrounding the hotel has several tourist shops and stands and can get quite busy in the early evening when tours come via boat to visit the Nubian Village but the hotel always felt quiet and relaxing. The hotel could be considered rustic - but it's worth any inconvenience or lack of amenities to experience the charm. Beer for purchase at the restaurant (best if you use EGP). We purchased some and then enjoyed on our own waterfront balcony area one evening.

Beautiful place right on the Nile. Very oriental and authentic, truly get the full experience of the culture. Food is good, rooms are clean, staff are very welcoming and friendly. The views are incredible especially when you have breakfast. Lots to do near the hotel such as shopping and riding camels/“tok toks.” Overall great all around, would definitely come again!

Great place, very flexible amazing hospotality.
Rooms are very clean and well equipped, breakfast is the best i had in aswan by far.

TIP : Take a boat from there to fisherman's island - you'll enjoy an unforgettable fish meal

We loved this hotel! Food and service was amazing- Alaadino was our server and was incredible and attentive - the staff were all so kind and helpful - they brought out a flower for my daughter from the kitchen just because. Every dish was the best meal we had in Egypt.

The hotel is located in the Nubian village of Gharb Soheil. Situated by the Nile, the property is spread over a large area and has different type of rooms. The buildings are built in the Nubian style and brightly painted. Our room overlooked the Nile. The room was spacious, air-conditioned, and provided with basic amenities. There is an in-house restaurant. The foods were delicious though a bit on the pricier side. We specially loved the Stuffed Chicken and Creamy Chicken Soup. We loved to relax in the restaurant in the evening after a long day of exploring sights. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. They also packed us breakfasts when we went to Abu Simbel. As the hotel is located right in the middle of the Nubian village, we took walks in the vibrant markets during the sunset.

I have been to Aswan three times before and even to this Nubian village before and I find myself asking, HOW did we miss this hotel before? I planned to stay there with two friends, but their flight was cancelled so I ended up staying there on my own. I wish I knew about this little gem on previous trips! Forget about the fancy hotels! This is a genuine piece of Nubian HEAVEN! In typical Nubian fashion, the hotel and all communal areas are painted in beautiful, bright, happy colors. You can't help but LOVE it! The staff are out of this world and meet and greet you with a warmth that you will be hard pressed to find on a continent other than Africa! The domed ceilings in the rooms are such a part of the Nubian architectural style and there are gorgeous murals painted inside the rooms. I was blessed enough to see a Nubian wedding, while sipping wine on the banks of the Nile river. And the breakfast was humungous! In the morning, I'm glad I had enough time to shop in the village. Thank you for helping me shop! I will definitely be back! Thank you so much!

Our family of four (including two teen boys) absolutely loved our stay at Artika Wadi Kiki. The colorful Nubian-style houses and the riverside courtyard created a magical, welcoming vibe. The rooms were cozy, clean, and decorated with charming Nubian art. We arrived after 1am after a long flight, but the staff checked us in immediately and made us feel like we were at home. The rooms and beds are very comfortable, the food is amazing, you can have breakfast right on the Nile in the morning and the hotel restaurant food was next-level. In the evenings, we ate under the stars by the Nile and enjoyed a fun Nubian music night at the hotel. We felt cared for and immersed in local culture throughout our stay. The hotel was in a great location with easy river pickup for our tours. We were sad to leave and are grateful for the wonderful experience. Highly recommend Artika Wadi Kiki to anyone looking for a warm, authentic stay in Aswan!

Absolutely special, beautiful hotel in Aswan. On the Nubian side, a calm and gorgeous oasis. The entire team was absolutely wonderful, warm to our family, taking great care of us. The food was delicious, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and the entire site was absolutely beautiful. Highly recommended if you want a calm, beautiful, special hotel every-so-slightly off the beaten path, but accessible quickly if you want to go into town. Amazing.

Very chill place, good food, good service. My wife and I spent two very comfortable nights at Kato Dool. The air conditioning in the room worked like a charm and the bed was super comfy. The only downside is that it is a bit farther from the city center.

We recently stayed in this nubian village house. Its a beautiful house with nice service and good local food. I gave 3 star only because the room was very hot, air conditioner was unable to cool the room and the fan was slow and was circulating the hot air due to hot roof. It was more comfortable sitting outside than inside. If they improve the air conditioning i would give it 5 stars. The person who runs the restaurant is very well behaved.
One more issue is the wifi which works only in the restaurant area, not in ur room.

An excellent place along the Nile and will wonderful hospitality and outstanding food. Get the included meals (menu is on their Facebook), which are huge multicourses of a main (Nubian chicken is the best), side (molokhia is unusual and different), salad, tahini, bread, rice. Probably my favourite meal in all of Egypt.
Stayed in the heat of June and the airconditioning worked a treat. It's on the quieter west side of Aswan and the Nubian village is lovely to walk through, although you will obviously get people wanting you to buy.
