Artika Wadi Kiki in Aswan

Overpriced place

I went there to sit at the café and ordered two hibiscus drinks and two coffees. The total came to 500 EGP, which honestly feels like a rip-off. That’s almost double the prices of nearby places like Hadouta, Ashry, Makanni, and Kenda Kai. Nothing about the experience justified the cost.

I won’t be coming back.

HORRIBLE experience at Anakato in Aswan!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS THEY ARE DECEITFUL!!

I made my reservations for 3 nights (New Year’s Eve) back in October, I specifically asked for a Nile View room in Anakato Kiki and they sent me 2 pdfs by email, one with room rates & one labelled “Anakato Wadi Kiki” with room photos . Room rates PDF was divided into Category A & Category B, I called them again to clarify, and they said BOTH are Nile View and the difference is room size. I was told this by a person called “Shamba” who claimed he is the manager but it turns out he is not and he is not even authorized to make reservations to begin with!! I transferred the FULL payment as per their instructions since mid October and sent emails to confirm that we have booked NILE VIEW rooms at Anakato Wadi Kiki as per the pdf they sent us, and we got multiple confirmations of that.

We arrived Dec 31, to find that we are asked to stay in an old ugly building with low quality rooms and a very narrow view of the Nile called “Anakato Center” and that the rate we paid is for Center not Wadi Kiki!!!! This was NEVER disclosed in any emails or calls. And all our correspondence is clear about us staying at Anakato Kiki and their PDF does not say they have different buildings, it clearly says ANAKATO WADI KIKI!!

After 2.5 hours of arguing from 11am till 1:30pm, they said ok, we have a room for you at the other facility so we went from Anakato Center to Anakato Kiki to find ourselves in a room overlooking sand and construction!!! And the manager is telling us “محتاجين نكون واقعيين ونقول الحمد لله ونرضى باللي موجود"

I am beyond disappointed, I I don’t know how this place is popular and why people give it this much rating. Their management are THIEVES , and they send clients photos of their best rooms and give u the impression u are getting something and after you pay them the money, you arrive to find urself stuck with something else!! It was New Year’s and all hotels are fully booked so we can’t even leave.
