I would definitely stay here again. It looks a little scary on arrival because the stairs and walls are so dirty but inside is lovely and clean and comfortable. All the staff are amazing. HOWEVER the tours have hidden costs from 10US to 20US The lovely booklet they give you has barely any details and no prices.the Nile cruise I booked was in the dark, the pyramids cost 80US plus tickets which I was not made aware of! Payable by card only. The overnight desert trip was amazing although that also cost an extra 10US cash only plus a cash tip for the drivers and I did not know it was a 5 hour trip there and 5 hours back. I was told I the desert trip was transfers to and from hotel. But when leaving the desert we were told Cairo is too busy and they would only drop off at two locations. The young Japanese girl did not understand and was left on the side of the road with a flat phone, little English and told to catch herself a taxi to her hotel it was disgusting! Next time I will not book through the hotel. I was given a free lunch for the misunderstanding. The booklet has not much information so ask lots of questions.

I arrived late at night and only stayed about 10 hours, as I had another hotel booked for the next day to meet up with friends. So, I can't really comment on the bathroom and such since I didn't use them. The hostel floor itself is nicely renovated and clean, but the building is old, and the room had a slightly stuffy smell. However, the guy at the front desk was kind, and the breakfast was really delicious, so the value for money was definitely good.

We had a great stay at this hostel. I booked a private room, which was comfortable, clean, and perfect for a bit of extra privacy.

The location couldn’t have been better, everything I needed was within easy walking distance, and it made exploring the city incredibly convenient.

A special thanks to Yousuf at the front desk. He was friendly, helpful, and went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. He even arranged our excursion to the pyramids, which was a fantastic experience. Really appreciated his assistance. I’d definitely stay here again!

We got the hostel to arrange a cab from the airport for $25 which is pricey for the area but very ver convenient.

This place was a really nice surprise! Good nightly rate for a private room, clean, good WiFi. Excellent location in downtown Cairo.

The building it is in is very old but the part with the hostel in it is comfortable and beautiful on the inside.

This hostel is in a great location. I had a private room which was really nice - spacious and clean with comfy beds. It’s noisy but any hotel in downtown Cairo will be the same. The breakfast was not bad. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I didn’t think the pyramids tour they organised was great - the car was not good and the guide was not great. But the hotel itself is really good and great value for the price and even compared to others in the same area.

I liked the place in general! There is an elegant interior design that gives a perfect touch to its Egyptian theme! Decorative and well organized throughout the interior! I liked the look! Also the service of the staff is veryy good! It gives me good taste and I like the charisma! Always with the smile of everything! Attentive to the guests! The only bad thing is the entrance I thought was leading to a completely different place and it gave me the feeling that the location did not match the housing! Because at the beginning of arriving it is hidden and the entrance is very indifferent and poorly located. However, they conserve their ancient Egyptian structures but nothing dangerous is normal. Everything continued and entered and an elegance as taken in the photos! Real, cozy and spacious!

I stayed here while traveling solo and had an amazing experience. The location is perfect, right in the heart of Cairo near the Egyptian Museum and many other main attractions.
The staff were incredibly friendly and always made sure I felt included. There were daily activities with an authentic Egyptian touch, which made it easy to meet people and really connect with the local culture.
The dorm room was clean and comfortable, and the whole place had a welcoming, social vibe. I highly recommend it for travelers looking to explore Cairo and meet new people.

The hostel is a welcome respite from the chaos of Cairo. Note that there are two floors, 1 and 4, but are connected by a vintage elevator as well as a stairwell. Breakfast provided each day was sincerely appreciated and delicious, made fresh for each person. The beds are comfortable and equipped with a small light and a power outlet to charge your devices. There is a common area to hang out with others and meet people. Some of the fittings are broken in the bathrooms but you will get by fine.
