It has a very good location near to everything and was a saver to be able to check in at 2am after a long travel. It was clean and good one but could be a little bit cheaper to meet the expectations. I didn't catch the breakfast so, I cannot judge it.
Location of this hotel is nice and the owner is a decent person, always ready to help you. Beds were bigger than many hostels I have been to and these were comfortable. Lifts were not working and I had to walk through the stairs with my heavy luggage. Bathroom was good but it could have been cleaner.
All the staff was friendly and always willing to help you. The room is very clean and the breakfast excellent. Really good price for the service, have been recommending to friends and family.
The staff is very nice and polite, we stayed 3 nights here, on our first night we had to change our room from balcony to no balcony due to the noisy traffic.

I would definitely stay here again. It looks a little scary on arrival because the stairs and walls are so dirty but inside is lovely and clean and comfortable. All the staff are amazing. HOWEVER the tours have hidden costs from 10US to 20US The lovely booklet they give you has barely any details and no prices.the Nile cruise I booked was in the dark, the pyramids cost 80US plus tickets which I was...
I arrived late at night and only stayed about 10 hours, as I had another hotel booked for the next day to meet up with friends. So, I can't really comment on the bathroom and such since I didn't use them. The hostel floor itself is nicely renovated and clean, but the building is old, and the room had a slightly stuffy smell. Good service. Well behaved staff and take care of their guests.
This place was a really nice surprise! Good nightly rate for a private room, clean, good WiFi. Excellent location in downtown Cairo. The building it is in is very old but the part with the hostel in it is comfortable and beautiful on the inside.
We had a great stay at this hostel. I booked a private room, which was comfortable, clean, and perfect for a bit of extra privacy. The location couldn’t have been better, everything I needed was within easy walking distance, and it made exploring the city incredibly convenient. A special thanks to Yousuf at the front desk. Prime location, old house, quite casual!
Very friendly and accommodating staff. The location is very close to everything. You can shop cheap trendy clothes nearby. Blaban and other famour food chain is just few steps away. Highly recommended! ❤️
On my last day in Cairo, I used it as a day use as I was leaving late at night. It was a hostel but I booked it because it had a private bathroom. The towels were not as good as those in a hotel, but they were fine to use. You can borrow a hairdryer at the front desk. Soap, body wash, and shampoo are provided. The location is very convenient as there are many restaurants and souvenir shopping (including...
Don't know how this hotel got a high score of 4.6? I won't choose it again anyway. The facilities are extremely rudimentary. There is not even a stool in the room. There is nothing you need. The pillow is so hard that it feels like sleeping on wood. The bed is also hard. I felt sore all over after sleeping.
Great location and good rooms for the price, no one bothers you and staff is very friendly. Working ac. Big recommend 👍

A good location in the city centre. It was easy to find. I recommend it.
The room presented had nothing to do with the one chosen on the internet, which said it was: I think, 25 m2, bathtub, balcony overlooking the street and I found a room without a window, dirty walls, a wardrobe without one of the doors.
Stayed here during my layover. It’s okay.

The service is warm, friendly, clean and very safe.
The main thing is that it is cheap, the store is a bit shady, and for other prices, you get what you pay for.

The KMT Collection – Stay Review I stayed one night at The KMT Collection and it was absolutely gorgeous. The hotel has a great vibe, the rooms are very clean, stylish, and comfortable. Big respect to the two young people at the reception — they were amazing, super friendly, and made the stay even better. Everything was smooth and welcoming from start to finish. Highly recommended. — Ahmed Ali
The hostel is located approx 15 walking minutes away from the Tahrir square. The nearest bus station is 20 walking min away. Food markets nearby. The hostel is inside a residental building. At the first sight it looks a bit doggy in the entrance but this is normal for egyptian flats. It offers a common area. The wifi on the second floor does not work though. Bedrooms are spacious and beds are...
I have stayed there for 4 days it was amazing room ia clean, ac was good, for the price i paid its really a value for your money, location was good its walking distance to too many resto and shops
I enjoyed my stay here. The staff are friendly, although they can be a bit noisy in the morning, haha, but that's because my room is right in front of the reception. There are no towels or bathroom slippers provided. The hostel's location is convenient, situated in the city center with various shops, restaurants, and markets nearby. Overall, you won't be disappointed with your stay here.
I chose KMT Hostel since I needed a cheap place to sleep for one night in Cairo. It's well located - I walked there from the bus station. There are restaurants nearby and the metro is close. My bunk bed was comfortable and roomy, though I suspect the room gets crowded when all the beds are taken. The bunk has a personal plug, light and a shelf. Bathroom was clean with good showers. I left early...
Confortable beds, good wifi, strong hot shower, spotless clean, fair breakfast and well located. The downside is that they require payment in dollars. If you don't have dollars, they will convert it into egyptian pounds using the black market rate, not the official one, in my case increasing 62% the amount paid

I stayed in a dormitory, which was spacious and clean. The shower had hot water. It was a very comfortable hotel.
The hostel is old. We booked a double room, and upon check-in, they charged us an additional $20, claiming that a 1.5-person bed is only for one person and they couldn't accommodate a couple. It was very cold, with no heaters, and extremely noisy. Random people, seemingly unrelated to the hostel, constantly came in, prayed, and then ate. The staff's shouting at 5 AM made it impossible to sleep. There...
I stayed here for one night. 🇯🇵 The room was a dormitory and clean. There was a place to lock your luggage, but it wasn't very big, so I only put valuables in it. Towels were available at the front desk. The location was easy to find, with the entrance on the 5th floor.
I stayed at the Rammes Hostel in Egypt for several nights and had a very comfortable experience overall. We booked the hotel in advance. It met all our criteria: price, quality, and location. We stayed for three nights. We requested a transfer; it was our first time in Cairo, our flight was delayed, and we were worried the driver might not wait for us. The hotel is in a great location, especially within walking distance to the Khan el-Khalili Bazaar. If you can’t find an Uber or taxi due to traffic—like in our case—you can easily walk there. I recently had the pleasure of staying at Midtown. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The room itself was clean. The location of the hotel was also very convenient exploring the city.
Run-down property Good location. The rooms are nice, but the property is extremely run-down, almost in ruins, and the surroundings are dirty. I didn't like it.
Our stay in the Midtown was fine. We were a bit worried since it was our first night in Cairo and considering that the surrounding city streets are dark and busy it was reassuring when we met Mahmoud the owner. Firstly, he reached out via Whatsapp to ensure we’d a taxi or tours, we’d already prebooked these but he was the only hotel owner who was upfront and straight with no hassle on the tours....

We arrived in the evening for one night. The next day to the airport. For one or two nights it's ok. No more. Doubts about the cleanliness of the bed linen. It seemed that they don't change it after each guest. But I'm not sure. We took this hostel only because of the location. The staff is friendly.
I stayed in a single room (smoking) for 5 nights. The room looked larger than it looked in the photos, and it was comfortable with a sink and ceiling fan. It was quiet even though it was located in Attaba. However, sometimes the room would vibrate mysteriously. The location was excellent and you could walk to the city center. Breakfast was also provided, so I was overall satisfied.
The hostel locates in a very convenient location that we can walk and uber to places easily. The man who works at the front desk (about 60-70yrs old), he is a super kind and lovely man. For his help, we can take uber at 2am without cash require from uber driver. On the day we stay, unfortunately, the bathroom didn't work properly. We didn't have hot water, and the toilet was hard to flush.
When I came to the center of Cairo, I saw a lot of dilapidated buildings. This is the Egyptian style. You can't expect too much. Hotels in the old city are all like this. The manager is not bad, polite, and can speak English. There are two cleaners who do a good job of sanitation, but the facilities are too old. Cracking little place in downtown. Good if you want a relaxed, sociable feel. Nice staff. And yes, the roof garden is a top (excuse the pun) additional benefit, especially at night. I was staying in dorm, all to myself. One recommendation: could do with installing curtains, for privacy, especially when mixed.
The location is convenient for getting around. It's not far from the Nile River, and there's a business district behind it. It's within walking distance of the museum. It's a little hard to find on the 16th floor. There's a lot of traffic on the road at night, and the handsome guy at the front desk is very welcoming.
