The restaurant Peper opposite the hotel is delicious and cheap. It only costs 15 yuan to eat a full meal for one person. There is also a large supermarket with daily necessities

The room is quite spacious, open scenery because looking at the swimming pool, the food is OK cheap price, as for the cleaning service is average, irregular cleaning, overall feels acceptable

It was a great experience. I was responsible for everything myself and the environment was very nice. I hope I can go there again next time!

The service is average, the breakfast is OK, the cleanliness is just so-so, the room is really not soundproof at all, I can hear everything the other side says clearly, the toilet in the next room is broken again, among so many hotels, this one is really a bad experience

The place has a facilty of AC but the AC water like is collected in bottles within the room. Its on the fifth floor with no elevator. The management is cooperative. But its better than alot of hotels in downtown

Very cheap having all facilities but having no elevator is the worst part and also the reason to its cheapness, lady on the reception is very kind and honest. Greets everyone from which country you belong.

We were given a side Nile-view room on the quieter side, and they even allowed us to check in early at 10:30 AM, which was a nice bonus! 👍 The hotel's location, luxurious feel, and the staff's attitude and warmth were all excellent

The hotel's interior environment is great, and the breakfast is delicious, I recommend the croissant series! The room itself is pretty good, with a bathtub for relaxing soaks, but you'll need to bring your own bath salts

Avoid the coffee in the hotel lobby – it's almost 50 RMB a cup, ridiculously overpriced. You're better off crossing the street to Oliver for coffee instead. Also, tipping doesn't seem to work well in Cairo

The terrace overlooks the Nile River, which is lively at night, and you can even see trains passing in the distance. Although I really like Sofitel, I won't be staying at this particular one again

The staff were incredibly attentive, professional, and warm, always going above and beyond to ensure every detail of the stay was perfect. The hotel itself is absolutely stunning

and when you order drinks they don’t make them there at the pool bar half the time and so you have to “wait, as made from inside bar” as I was informed, which can take up to 30 minutes

There are few convenience stores and restaurants nearby; dining options are limited to a few restaurants on the hotel's first floor. Check-in was quick and smooth, and room service was punctual and attentive every day

The hotel is well located in Nasr City, close to Heliopolis and to the CAI airport. The hotel is spacious, has several restaurant and good bars. However, the service was lackluster

The hotel was very clean, and the lobby was pleasant with plenty of chairs to sit and relax. The swimming pool was right outside, and there were tables and chairs around it where you could sit, chat, and have a drink.

The bathroom had a great shower and they provided all the necessary ammenities. The hotel is well maintained and is in a very nice area. I had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend Sonesta Cairo

We went to have our Breakfast at the MoX restaurant. Food was very good along with the special service they provided

the Italian restaurant was fantastic and reasonably priced. Need to offer free shuttle service to the airport

I'd really suggest the hotel management try a sip of the cold water served by the waitstaff, then a sip of tap water in a guest room, and finally a sip of actual mineral water

At the reception Mohamed made me feel as if I’m a regular quest here, very professional super friendly. If I’m coming back again is cause they made me feel welcome and felt safe, as if they known me for ages

The breakfast spread was ample, but the cold water served by the waitress in a glass cup tasted distinctly like tap water, and I couldn't tell if it was even mineral water

Room: the room was very large, however it was a weird arrangement because it was clearly a 2 double bed room pushed together to be a awfully wide king size bed, which means the plugs and light switches are at a weird locations

Perhaps because it is surrounded by Embassies, it feel as secure or more secure than the "fenced" hotels. Security even kept track of every Uber or other vehicle we left or arrived in

The environment is nice, but it's very close to the event venue, so it can be very noisy late at night if there's a wedding, making it difficult to fall asleep. Other than that, the facilities and services are very good

Hi, First and foremost location is great if you would like to visit the pyramids? Staff and the service that they provided was excellent! The food was also great 😌 being a typical Brit I tired there fish and chips! And again the fish with its crisp batter was great

I was greeted by a swift early check-in by front desk accommodating staff (I do particularly remember Michael) and to my most-pleasant surprise I thought my room was five-star (go for the superior room, well worth it; I have no experience with standard rooms)

I stayed at **Marawa Palace Hotel** for three days and had a wonderful experience. The hotel was spotless, the atmosphere warm, and the staff always welcoming with big smiles and a genuine willingness to help

We did, however, appreciate the friendly staff at reception and in the breakfast restaurant. If the housekeeping had taken proper care of our room, I would have given 5 stars

I had one day with nothing planned so I asked one of the drivers, Said, to show me around to his favorite spots and we had a great day full of handmade pottery, coffee and tea along the Nile, a little bit of shopping downtown and capped it off with a delicious feast of some amazing Egyptian food! I really felt welcome staying here for my 6 day trip - a truly unforgettable experience

Wonderful budget friendly hotel with extremely friendly and helpful staff! They have a few dedicated drivers/guides available to schedule for anything from a quick trip out to dinner to a full-blown all-day guided tour around Cairo

The only downside - poor internet speeds and not a very friendly neighborhood for exploring during the down times

I left a tip on the first day for the cleaner, what they did is just add tissue box,soap and changed the towels but they didn't clean the room and another tip the next day, the tips were taken, but did not clean the room or even do anything so we had to inform reception to clean the room but also they didn't change the sheets, which was disappointing

We stayed for 3 nights from 7 to 10 December 2025. I gave 3 stars because, for me, cleanliness is the main reason people choose a hotel. Of course, friendliness is important too, but cleanliness is my number one priority

The hotel is a 3 start hotel, very basic, but it has free breakfast and there is a café on the first floor and a restaurant on the 10th floor with a view of the Nile- very convenient

Location is very handy - there are Nile-side restaurants five minutes' walk away. It is noisy - even with windows shut they sound open. We had a balcony with a view of the Nile

Egypt Adventure tour with Intrepid This was my final night in Egypt, I was travelling with an organised Intrepid tour to Cairo, Aswan and Luxor and was finishing my stay here and leaving for the airport during the early hours of the 31st December

I checked in late but the staff was very helpful and accommodating. I got the room that I booked with the amazing unobstructed view of the river. I had some laundry and it was done at a very cheap price

This hotel is one of the best ones in the area. Super clean, spacious rooms with phenomenal showers and AC. Definitely a great value for money. I highly recommend.

Check-in is by 2 PM; even if you arrive an hour early, the staff will insist on waiting until the appointed time before providing your room. The facilities are somewhat old; the shower door keeps falling off

The hotel looks small from outside, but I got amazed how big it is from inside. Besides, it is so close to Fifth Settlement, Heliopolis and Nasr City. It was my first visit, but definitely not my last

Breakfast has only a few options, so don't expect much. The breakfast terrace has a nice view, just like in the photos, you can see the pyramids. Overall, it's okay for a one-night stay

Hot water can only be supplied to one guest at a time, and the second guest has to wait 20 minutes before there is enough hot water. Just because the equipment is a small electric water heater

How would I rate this hotel? Like any other chain hotel, the service is decent. They offer free luggage storage, and the hotel gives you two bottles of water and a pack of cookies

There are toiletries and disposable slippers provided. The bedding isn't new but it's clean. There's no strange smell in the room, but it's just too close to the road, so you can hear the traffic noise

There were loud music and banging sounds also coming from the roof top until around 2 am and I can hear it from my room in the 3rd floor. Basic facilities are provided such as hair dryer, flat iron, kettle, etc

The staff are good, but the hotel has soundproofing issues. The windows are flimsy, so there's constant road noise, plus construction work goes on late into the night nearby

The breakfast spread was delicious and varied, with plenty of options to suit different tastes. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area and will be back on my next trip!

The hotel is a value for money option in Cairo. They serve a plethora for the buffet breakfast and it was delicios. Dinner buffet spread choices were lesser in comparison to breakfast

The room is clean and spacious, however, being at the top most floor (Level 8), the water pressure was not too good. All the staff were very warm and welcoming. Safety is good with security checks done upon entry

We booked a tour through them but our flight in was so late that we wouldn't have got much sleep so the manager changed our tour to the following day. He arranged all drivers for us for the tours and airport runs

The tour guide he arranged for us, Mohammed, was excellent and extremely helpful to me as I had a broken foot. We had dinner twice on the rooftop terrace and the food was excellent

I would definitely recommend the koshary and kofta. Also, the breakfast was excellent. Would definitely recommend this budget friendly hotel as the view is incredible. Also the room was exactly as pictured

Clean rooms with an excellent view of the pyramids at the rooftop. Breakfast and service was great.

The view is good and you can see the sphinx as well as the pyramids. Fridge, kettle, TV all weren’t working however once I reported it they replace the items within 30mins

This boat has many floors and also is a hotel with accomodations for 1200 a night, all inclusive. There is a pool and all floors carry some sort of entertainment

Food was not very good with limited varities , the lunch and dinner were almost the same but the show for dinner is slightly better. However having the price into considrtion it can be a good average nile cruise choice

Unfortunately they didn't provide thr room in the agreed time,it is one of the horrible things there you need to confirm every thing many many times with everyone as they always gives contradicting messages

Not the best food if that's what you're going after. However, for the price, you'll get what you pay for. For their show, they host a belly dancer and singer as well as other oriental dances
