Loved it, great view to luxor temple, and food was awesome at the restaurant, mr. Mateus was extremely helpful and super nice. Rooftop pool was amazing.
Rooms were clean and well kept. The rooftop pool was a great lounge area at night . Awesome view of the temple and avenue of the sphinx!
Rooms were clean enough and staff were friendly, alarmed that most fire doors were propped open Breakfast was very average with many of the components being left in their dishes overnight The rooftop pool looked very inviting and there was a great view from there
Very good hotel. Great dinner, nice clean rooms, balcony. Very kind staff! Just problem to get warm water fast, but anyway highly recommand.
I love it!
It's clean, nice and it have great view, aslo the people work here are so kind
The staff is very welcoming and they are very warm.
Still the rooms were pretty tight and i couldn't move around. Still one of the best hotels if you are on budget.

Speaking of the pool, it’s a lifesaver after sightseeing in the summer heat!
A huge thank you to Allah and Mohammed for making our stay so special, and of course to Queenie, one of the owners (the cat!), a cutie, always there to greet you
Twenty years ago I really hated Luxor and El Gezira Garden totally changed my mind, if there is a paradise in Egypt it is thas place. The staff, the calm, the restaurant ( rare in Egypt) everything is pleasant there
Perfectly located on the West Bank, close to all the main sites and just a short walk from the ferry to the East Bank. From the moment we arrived, we felt truly at home thanks to the warm welcome from all the staff
We didn't stay here but for 100ep you can use their super lovely pool.. very clean, free towels, pool side service. Food is a bit pricey than elsewhere but real tasty and by a pool so what's not to love.
Rooms are a little dated but air conditioned and clean. Pool is a great bonus and is well cleaned. Breakfast also basic but delicious. If you want great service and location without the frills then this place is great
This is the kind of place with its own identity, nice style anywhere you look. Breakfast is delicious and the dinners by the pool are pure magic — the perfect way to end a day of exploring
The pool isn't heated and even the weather in the 30s could not keep it warm with the cooler nights so shamefully, it was unusable
Great experience!!!
Hotel is very clean and spacious the owner and the staff are very nice and welcoming it is in a very Good location the bar staff are amazing I had a great time love the view and the pool
Staff members are very helpful. Room we stayed at has amazing view very spacious. Rooftop swimming pool was just perfect
Very easy to get around, worth staying a few extra days to explore and relax as the hotel has a lovely roof top The room was larger than I had expected and the cleaning crew where very efficient making sure things were great for us, even had bug zappers to stop the mosquito's which was nice of them I Couldn't believe how nice the food was you must try thier tagine it's delicious and so reasonably...
The staff kindly arranged flowers in the room and on the bed when requested by my partner for Valentine's day. They also provided us with some ice for my joints even though we arrived really late at night
The lovely driver waited for us at the airport even though we were delayed for 4 hours. Overall, the staff were friendly and arranged cars as and when needed. The roof terrace is really enjoyable

The stay at Shadi Hotel was exceptional. The staff were extremely friendly, and everyone offered help with genuine sincerity, not out of obligation
Although the hotel is rated three stars, the service is truly five-star. The room had excellent infrastructure, a great swimming pool, comfortable elevators, a fridge, a coffee machine, and a hairdryer
Abdullah, the hotel manager, personally followed up on the service regularly, which made us feel a strong sense of familiarity with both the place and the people
I can confidently say that Shadi Hotel has succeeded in providing the highest level of comfort and luxury for a very reasonable price
To be honest, I think I would have been more satisfied if I had directly negotiated with the boatman along the Nile at the time of the scenery I wanted to see. Hot water came out well and the water pressure was perfect
The hotel will arrange anything, including felucca, balloon, and transfer to the ruins. I had already booked the balloon and transfer to the ruins, so they arranged the felucca, but the time
The breakfast wasn’t great but understandable as they couldn’t do their full spread as there wasn’t enough guests to accommodate but it was adequate enough with Egg’s, bread, fruit with coffee and tea, I didnt get to check the rooftop restaurant as i didn’t want them to open due to its quietness,
They did accommodate me with a beer on arrival and later by the pool
It was great! The hotel is right by the Nile River, and the owner and staff were very kind. They even upgraded us to a larger room when they saw we had a child! We'll definitely come again!!!
The rooftop restaurant is also worth mentioning; you can enjoy dinner there in the evening with a wonderful view. There's a pool, but it was cold in February
No Wifi in room but great by the pool area. Also the place a pretty dusty but everywhere in Egypt virtually was so this was not a problem, although the room was very clean with great air conditioning and view of the Nile
As for drawbacks, the towels and bedding could use an update
A special highlight was the small balcony with a view of the Nile and the ferry – perfect for spending evenings. Breakfast is offered, including falafel, omelets, fruits, yogurt, and flatbreads
And right beside is a little store, the second one in family owned. Wonderful people and their daughter is so kind and played with our daughter. They even invited to sit and have tea in the evenings
Amazing location and great price. Room I stayed in was large with a fridge and spacious closet for your stuff. There's a restaurant upstairs with lots of good options for food
Great experience for a fair price, good for students like us but as well couples or families. El masela Hotel is a beautiful place with a stunning view on the Nile from the roof top as well as our room‘s balcony
Located directly across the Nile from Luxor Temple and situated beside plenty of incredible restaurants, everything was conveniently located. The hotel staff was the best I have ever experienced
I had to change my travel plans at short notice and he helped me to book flights and coordinate an airport transfer. I'm really grateful foe their assistance and will definitely stay here again if I return to Luxor
But what truly makes this hotel special is the service: the staff are incredibly kind and helpful with absolutely everything you need. They make you feel completely at home

Most importantly, the hotel is incredibly photogenic, with tasteful and aesthetically pleasing interior design. It's like a castle, and you can take a boat to the east bank; it's situated on the west bank of the Nile
The hotel boasts distinctive decor, warm service, beautiful architecture, exclusive Nile River views, a private dock and ferry terminal, but its location is somewhat remote and not very convenient to access by taxi.
Environment: The previous rooms were quite comfortable, very peaceful in the mornings and evenings. Service: One of the breakfast staff members was very helpful and tipping is acceptable
Cleanliness: A very new hotel with a very comfortable overall environment. There are over 20 staff members for the 20 rooms. Facilities: Comfortable and fully equipped
If you're looking for the best hotel in Luxor, it's Geoffrey's Palace. The butler is excellent and very classy
The regular price isn't high, but it's truly beautiful

The guy at the front desk was very friendly, helped to call a taxi, the price was cheap, recommended the food Kazaz shop, which was very good, the juice was very delicious, and the price was reasonable
Our suite (yes, suite - not just a room but an apartment) is a wall to wall mini museum of tapestry, carpets, classic furniture and local art, tastefully pulled together in a manner that makes you feel like a very honoured guest
Mara and co were very helpful from the beginning of booking accommodation and recommending transport/logistics/sight visits, and throughout the stay Amr (manager) was very welcoming and helpful, a good friend to be missed
If you are reading this while planning a holiday - book it now. Suite 4 is a charmer, say yes when Mar offers you tea (the handmade biscuits were astounding), sign up for the feast and visit Abyssinian and Dendara too!
It is close to the Egyptian Museum. The interior is average and livable, but the Egyptian sandwiches at the door taste good and are cheap. It is close to the popular restaurant kazaz, so it is convenient to take a taxi
And that feeling continues when you engage with Mara, Amr and the team - the most genuinely helpful and supportive people I have met on any holiday, and always willing to go the extra mile for your happiness

You can sip tea or a cool drink on the jetty, over the Nile, or have a bite to eat on the terrace!
The pool was a bit cold, but seems like a great spot to chill in for hotter days !
I truly recommend Hotel Al Baeirat for anyone looking to take it slow for a few days
Very good hotel! Friendly people, good food, nice swimming pool, charming location and so much more. I can recommend it to everyone!
This hotel is more than a hotel ! The peaceful environment, the amazing staff, the excellent food and great hospitality all through our stay! Rooms are pretty clean and spacious
Staff is always smiling and available!
The motor boat can take you to Luxor in just a few minutes and can take you back when the day is over
A really lovely little hotel, peaceful and relaxing with amazing views of the Nile. The pool area is lovely and well kept, staff are very friendly and helpful.
Thought this was a fantastic place!
It's got a backpacker type vibe but it isn't really a backpacker place. It has a pool and a pool table and table tennis freely available. The food was good-try the pepper steak
The room was clean and hygienic, with a balcony. The towels were folded into a 🔥 shape, which was very nice. The sockets there were all Chinese-compatible, so no adapter was required, which was great.
The hotel has a small courtyard with a garden and swimming pool. The rooms are also very large. You can see the garden from the balcony. It is very comfortable to take a rest on the balcony
Except for the poor Wi-Fi signal, the sockets with two round holes, which were very loose and unusable, and the breakfast, which had fewer cucumbers and tomatoes than Europeans and Americans, everything else was fine
The hotel has a nice small garden and a small swimming pool, but the hotel's service is a bit poor. The hotel we booked included breakfast
Breakfast is a simple continental breakfast per person, which is okay. The night before, the boss would ask you what time your meal will be tomorrow morning? The restaurant boy will wait at the appointed time
There are two worlds outside the hospital. The road at the door is not hardened. A few minutes walk out is a main street. There are some snacks, a small fruit shop, and a good sugar cane juice squeezer

We had dinner (prices are denominated in USD, and it’s definitely a bit on the pricier end considering it’s Egypt, but worth it imo) and we were blown away by the service
Room was clean, comfortable and very cute. Nice view of the Nile from my balcony. The staff here were wonderful! The food was great too. I really enjoyed the peaceful location and this hotel was a surprising great value
Swimming pool was beautifully kept, they even had an organic farm with bananas, mangos and herbs
It’s in a quieter area of Luxor, so if you’re wanting to explore East Bank (the busier side of the city) be prepared for slightly higher taxi fares back but it’s definitely worth the peace and quiet
We had incredible service the entire time we were there - the staff were amazing and accomodating and had amazing recommendations the entire time. Laundry service was available and great price
Would absolutely recommend to anyone. Was my favorite hotel on our entire Egypt trip

Enjoying a dip in the pool or an excellent Turkish coffee in the shade of a tree, I will be visiting again for sure
The food was delicious, the rooms clean and quiet, the staff extremely friendly, courteous and helpful. I was always met with a smile. Our guide was knowledgeable and took us around the great sites of Luxor and beyond
And after a busy day visiting sites, which are all in short distances from the hotel, it was lovely to retreat to the quiet beauty of this oasis
The only improvement I can recommend the hotel is to get softer beds as they were extremely hard ;-) But all in all an unforgettable stay
I think the decoration of the room is average
The overall environment is okay.

When you seek on tripadvisor an hotel close to Nile in Luxor, you have lots and lots of them, so I feel extremely lucky to have picked this one as it's really the perfect place and you should not hesitate one second, do book it
A beautiful garden with warm and welcoming staff, great hosts, the breakfast buffet has a big variety of local food as well as international
Free WiFi is available and there's a small swimming pool. The location is ideal as it's on the river bank with a beautiful promenade and the small boats to cross the river are literally outside the hotel
It's not far to the Valley of the Kings and Queens and Hatshepsut's tombs and Howard Carter's Museum, the beautiful Qorna countryside and a short river crossing to the Luxor and Karnac temples on the East bank where you will find the old market souk and lots of modern shops and hotels
Very clean rooms, the staff is very helpful with almost everything you might need. The beautiful garden is also a place for many birds, in the morning it is an impressive experience
The pool was amazing and garden, the food was delicious too take breakfast there then stat round in West Bank early morning was great

We loved the cool towel arrangements left on the bed each day—such a charming touch! Evenings on board were just as special, especially the belly dancing show, which was both entertaining and professional
Tropez than on the Nile, which clearly dominated by the big but extremely clumsy acting 5 star ships of various major operators or Egyptian shipping companies becomes; there is glamorous luxury with lots of crystal, gold decoration and Baroque style elements in stark contrast to sleek elegant lines, deliberately restrained designed interior and casual sporty elegance in the exterior of the yacht; The...
Our experience on the Alexander the Great Nile cruise was truly exceptional. The service was outstanding from start to finish, with a friendly and attentive staff that made us feel welcome throughout the journey
Only the wifi equipment is absolutely out of date and seems improvised, as you expect on a yacht of this category today another Quality; a clear improvement of the wlan access and extension to the whole ship is urgently recommended
The food selection was impressive—diverse, delicious, and beautifully presented at every meal. The cabins were surprisingly large, very clean, and offered a cozy, relaxing atmosphere
We have been lucky enough to stay in quite a few ‘fancy’ hotels but I would say that the service we experienced on Alexander the Great was the best we have enjoyed anywhere

I was absolutely disgusted at this shameless attitude. While the ride was good, there are many things that the management at this cruise needs to work on to handle international customers
Food was great couldn’t have been any better as we even got a private dinner on top deck and a private breakfast on a Egyptian boat before leaving. Thank you to all the staff we really appreciated everything
Consequently, we could only see the Luxor Temple and not the Karnak Temple, which was scheduled for that day. This was callousness on their part. The food was included in the collective pricing
There was a gift shop inside the cruise that sold items at rather economical prices. The rooftop was a great place to hang out given how beautiful the River Nile seemed from there
While the tour was comfortable, there were many pointers we did not particularly appreciate. Let me first point out the positives:
1. The room was comfortable, spacious and clean
It also had a fantastic window view of the River Nile. The stay inside the room was nice. The entire cruise was extremely neat and clean. The decoration inside the cruise was fantastic

We had booked our stay on the ship separate from our tour program which caused some scheduling conflicts between the tour group and the ship sailing schedule which felt very hectic
We totally loved this cruise. The food is exceptional, the crew members take good care of us. The exursion arrangement is great. Definitely will do it again
Attentive staff and professional service! Great amenities, and well-rounded food (exceptional dessert selections) although a bit less so on last day
Their tour guide was very knowledgeable and made the experience even more memorable. I look forward to being a part of the Royal Family on the Royal Lotus in the future and would recommend them to anyone
Great guide and very accommodating agent despite our flight delays and optional tours - managed to fit in all the included tours, although we did have to convert some to private / small group tours
Loved my entire experience on this cruise. The staff was truly fabulous, the boat is beautiful and the meals (all buffet) were fabulous. I highly recommend!

Our family took a Nile cruise on the M/S Mahrousa in 2005... Everything was absolutely fantastic! Excursions, food, staff, hygiene, friendliness ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐... I'm already thinking about booking this trip again 👍
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were captivated by the breathtaking views from the cruise while sailing from Aswan to Luxor. It was an unforgettable experience that we’ll cherish for years to come
It was a wonderful experience. The ship was nice and clean. The restaurant was good. We were pampered and made to feel at ease throughout. The guide was excellent.
From the receptionist, Mohamed, to the room service attendant, Mahmoud, their dedication to ensuring our comfort and satisfaction was truly remarkable
Our first time on this cruise was truly unforgettable, and we’re already planning our next one. The staff was the standout feature of our experience
Everyone we encountered was incredibly friendly, helpful, and attentive

Maybe isnt the best by looking but it have nice vibe and everything. Locatated at best place in town. Breakfast is amazing with nice pool view
I understand maybe isnt for everyone taste but this is Africa not USA or Europe so dont exepct highest stadnrt for this price
The location is spot on, the view from the roof top is amazing. You get to see the river Nile. Please bear in mind is a outdated hotel. The carpet is worn off and dirty. And the furniture are not wiped
This is a common thing in all hotel in Egypt. But again yes I didn't much for the price but basic cleanliness is required. Overall value for money, location superb as everything is walking distance
Regarding the service, the uncle who greeted us in the morning was nice but kept trying to sell us things. The female receptionist had a poor attitude and was very rude to our friends
Check-in took a very long time, and I couldn't find my booking confirmation. I was almost ready to cancel and request a refund from the website when I finally found it
One wall is actually a window you can half open to breath the good air of Egypt and admire the big river coasts. Both water and food are safe to consume. I felt like home and never had an issue during the stay
The boat is great, the staff is amazing and kind and the food excellent, especially the egyptian dishes!! It was an unforgetable experience everyone should take
I've been there last week for a Nile cruise with family. The boat is awesome and the crew treats you lovely. Rooms are clean, beds are comfy and big
Clean and comfortable room, good food. The souvenir shop is not bad but it has little variety. The housekeeper (Islam), very attentive and professional. Thanks for keeping my room spotless and for the towel origami 😀
The pool area on the top deck was a great place to relax as we cruised but it never felt crowded. The performances in the bar as well as the free cocktail night/event was a great addition
My overall opinion about how lovable Egyptian are is mostly because of this cruise!
