This place is very simple and budget friendly. Locates away from city centre, but small taxi drive will get you there easily. Breakfast is simple, but decent enough to start a good day.

Very helpful and caring staff! We stay in august for kid’s football tournament . Staff helped us with all issues . Thank you once again! Rooms are spacious and clean . Food is also good. Good value for the price.

Code entry. Affordable and good rooms. Cheap vending machine for snacks and hot drinks. Nearby there's a lot of lovely nature, a lake, museum (with cafe(s)), entertainment possibilities, a grocery store. Closest bus is nr8, other OK option is nr7. Smart bike service nearby. I wish bathroom floors weren't so cold. Comfortable beds. Dog friendly.

The interior is a bit archaic. Floor is covered by an old soviet style wooden sheets. Food was not so good. But we had a very nice time with a lot of our friends.

The party was great because the great friends. But the design of the hall is not fresh. Food they provide was so so.

The hotel is located next to the bus station. So, it's really easy to access for bus travellers! there are no amenities in the room so i recommend you to bring things you need (like toothbrushes...)

Just next to the bus terminal and river leading into the old town. Both are important as it’s during the travel and in and out by Lux Bus. And it’s next to the market, where you can get all kinds of fresh berries. Decent breakfast choices.

Overall good hotel in a great place. Very little info available. No signs, no labels. Have to guess where the breakfast is, had to use Google to find out where the gym is. Few labels wouldn't hurt. For example next to elevator buttons.

Had a pleasant one-night stay at this hotel. The room was clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and check-in/check-out was quick and seamless. The llocation is convenient and made travel easy. I would definitely consider staying here again for a short visit.

The family room was clean and big enough for 4 people. The bathroom had an amazing bath tub! It was big enough for two people. Otherwise the room had quite 70s vibe.

It’s I think mostly a restaurant with not good food. They have like 10 maybe 15 rooms. All rooms suppose to look medieval but I didn’t like them. Rooms and toilet are clean but the only way to get to the rooms is by staircase. And the way they look and feel is a bit off. For that price would never choose this place again. I wouldn’t recommend.

The hotel part is good, but the breakfast was VERY DISAPPOINTING. We read a lot about the great restaurant Hansa, you do not experience it in the morning. Coffee was very bad, eggs are strange, everything is below the standard quality that we have experienced during our 15 days road-trip across the 3 baltic states in similar ranges of hotels.

Excellent hotel for a stay to discover Tartu & nearby attractions , the hotel itself is like a museum with a very interesting collection of tools and many other items from the past, a nice central courtyard garden and luxuriously furnished rooms...friendly & helpful staff.

Good location, average hotel A little bit outdated but overall nice and good located hotel. In our room there was a carpet, which had seen its best days. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean (ecxept the stains on the carpet). When we arrived to the breakfast an hour before the ending many of the serving dishes were empty, there was two very young persons trying their best to maintain everything...

Bed was comfortable. Room was clean except for a stain on sofa. They put us in building across street which needs some tender loving care, wish we were in main building. Breakfast buffet was fantastic!

Great location in the middle of the city & parking The hotel has seen its time and the stains on the carpet on the entire floor showed it badly. Otherwise, with air conditioning, a great location and parking, it's a good choice. The breakfast was quite ok.

Room was very big and in a great location. There was a coffee machine in the room but no milk was provided. It wasn’t a major issue but there also wasn’t shampoo or conditioner provided.

The hotel is located near the old town and the center of ahhaa. Breakfast is not bad. There are even toothbrushes in the room in case you forgot yours. And in our room we also had a mini fridge. In our case, we also had the dusty surfaces in the room and the dirty cabinet with yellow drops, which had not even bothered to clean (we checked it ourselves - it came off easily with wet paper).

Only stayed for the night but beds were great, room was cozy and breakfast was delocious. Would visit again.

The beds are comfy, rooms were clean. But the TV shows only a few Estonian channels, so you can't really watch it. And the rooms 104 and 105 are really close to some bar there, that played loud music at night, which didn't let us sleep. The staff was nice tho and its not a bad place overall. The breakfast wasn't bad either.

Here is very quiet and calm. In some rooms there is a sauna or bubble bath. In apartments there are lots of space. There are bathroom ant television to. Here is free wifi. You eat breakfast in special place to eat. You can eat there "till you die" (or drink to). Here is very delicious food.

Spacious room, quiet (city center), stylish room with all the necessities, great bed with different pillows. Lots of different saunas in spa area, sauna rituals were my favourites.

Perfect place for just relaxing, enjoying the spa and saunas, the softest bed and of course very tasty breakfast.

This wasn’t our first stay at Vspa, we come back because we really love it here! Perfect for families with children. I also received a lovely surprise- a birthday cake with a candle at breakfast. It was unexpected and so sweet! The staff are very kind, they even allowed me to extend checkout by an hour so I could enjoy a massage. We will definitely return again!

Staff super friendly and helpful. Rooms and other areas clean. But... Pools were a bit colder than would have liked + overcrowded. Rooms have bery poor noise cancellation. I guess this depends on the location of the room and neighbourghs, but still would have been nice to NOT hear everything that was going on in the next room and the hallway.

I was in Room 1, which was spacious, one thing the toilet was next to the shower so much space for your legs.

The location is almost in the heart of the city. I woke up with the ring bell's of the church. It was like in the fairytale. Walking by the city I thought that the architecture and the vibe reminds me at the same time an Italy, and our Ukraine (city Dnipro) with its river. So, it was cool, to have an opportunity to walk in the park, which is near the hotel, and came back from good party very quickly...

Really nice guesthouse. Good location close by town square. Hotel has few parking spots so on a quiet day it works well. Staff is very friendly, not available 24/7 but you get keys to walk freely on and out. Cozy and warm rooms in an old building. I really enjoyed stay in Tampere Maja. Good and helpful staff. Very good breakfasts. Spacious room. Bulding is authentic and wooden and has great atmosphere. It is practically in the city center so you can walk everywhere. It has small sauna for a surcharge for guests.

This place is what I envision all Finnish houses to be. It is basic but it is excellent for what you pay. City centre is only couple of minutes walk away. Breakfast is true to what Nordic countries have for breakfast. Coffee was fantastic. Staff was very welcoming. We stayed in room 3. We didn’t have a bath but I don’t expect one in hotels anymore. Only downside was that hot water comes from hot water...

Very pleasant stay! Good service, spacious room, good check out time (12.00). Breakfast buffet tasty, with options for vegetarians and other dietary constrictions. My room didn’t have a window, which was a bit unpleasant. For those who use AC this could not be a problem. Otherwise, highly recommended.

The location of the hotel is good, it is located in the city, next to major shopping centers. The main bus station is 10 minutes away, and the street where you can eat good food is 10 minutes away from the hotel. What a homely stay! The staff took the time to show me around the place. Everything was clean and organized. The balcony was so peaceful and relaxing. The kitchen was well-equipped and showers clean. I stayed in a private room and it was very comfortable. Not sure why people complain about the distance from the city. It's just 20-30 mins by foot.

Nice hostel with a lovely atmosphere. My daughter and I spent the night in a double room and slept comfortably. Warn when booking if you have heavy luggage, because we were placed on the 3rd floor without an elevator, but the owner (or administrator) helped us to lift suitcases.

Perhaps the best thought-out and planned hostel i have ever stayed at. Beds well built with good stairs. Good storage lockers. Things organized. You can tell someone put a lot of thought i to everything. I wish more hostels were like this one, what a pleasure.
