Le Hameau de la Sapinière (MEN603) in Les Menuires

We had a wonderful stay at Le Hameau de la Sapiniere. Lovely Hamlet, next to the slopes with Ski rental opposite the apartment.
Apartment was spacious, three bedrooms with each their own shower.
We made use of the morning bread service, so every day just before 8 we received our order in the apartment.
Apartment was cosy, with a fire place and a kitchen that has everything we need for our daily cooking.
Walking distances to Les menuires for restaurants, shops and spares ski.

Out stay was fabulous. The only thing all of us didn’t like were the small pillows on the bed.

Wonderful hotel, great spacious apartments and super friendly and helpful staff. Ski in, ski out location in a quiet area very close to a piste and lifts in Les Menuires. It’s is a bit of a walk to the supermarket but there is a handy bus at the end of the road.
There is also a wonderful ski hire shop as part of the resort who could not do enough to help us! We would definitely visit again.

Stayed in a renovated 2 bedroom apartment with a family of four. Nice apartment, quite spacious, good size of bathroom and bedrooms, good shower, one extra toilet, ok wifi. Overall good value for money for being an apartment in the French Alps (almost a little Swedish ”fjällstuga”-feeling). Very friendly and accommodating staff. Les Menuires was overall a nice experience , with easy access to the rest of Les 3 Valles. For restaurants, we recommend L’Etoile, only a 3 minute walk from the apartment.

We have stayed here with 9 people in an apartment divided over 3 floors. This was a week in January 2026. Price / quality very good if you compare to similar apartments in the French alps.
Large living room. Beds are modern. Separate kitchen that is properly equipped. Location is great right next to the slopes and quick access to multiple lifts.

Amazing stay overall. The service was outstanding and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. The rooms are well equipped, surprisingly spacious for France, and the showers are excellent. Ski-in ski-out access is very easy and convenient, which is a big plus. The only small downside is that it’s a bit of a walk to the center, but it didn’t take away from a great experience. Would definitely recommend.

I had read some negative feedback about cleanliness of the kitchens, smoke from other apartments, non-working stoves, the apartment not being available at the stipulated time and saloon door-type doors to the bathrooms.

Our experience was not like that at all. It is true that there were a couple of pans in the kitchen that were not clean and a better clean is always possible (cleaners, there is dust under the beds), BUT:
1. the location is brilliant, right next to a green running down to Croisette and the lifts there, from which the whole of the 3V is your playground.
2. When we did have some technical issue (a shower not working properly) the maintenance man came straightaway and fixed it.
3. The ski shop is within the complex and is staffed and run with real expertise - an invaluable resource.
4. Our ski locker was next to the ski shop (so both were within 30 seconds walk from our front door).
5. The apartment was great, with a great big living area where the nine of us could all kick back. We had to turn the heating off when we lit the stove, which worked really well and made the room really toasty and with a great ambiance. There was loads of hot water and the bathrooms were entirely private. There is good storage space in the apartment (a whole understairs room we did not need).
6. The customer service was great. I do think that an apartment should be available from before 5 p.m., BUT in fact we were badly delayed by a landslide blocking all road routes to Moutiers. The reception staff were really understanding on the phone and did all they could to help us get to the accommodation. They said that they would leave the keys in an envelope in reception for our arrival but in fact there was then someone there for the first of us to arrive (at about 9 p.m.). Chapeau! The staff were cheerful and helpful in all my dealings with them.
7. I would without doubt come again.
