This was my third stay at Hotel Pashmina in Val-Thorens, and each visit reminds me why this place is truly exceptional. I’ve experienced it in every configuration, recently on my own, with my wife in the Igloo Pod, with my family, and every time, it feels like discovering a rare oasis in the heart of Val-Thorens’ often lively and noisy atmosphere. After travelling to Val-Thorens for over 30 years, I can confidently say that Hotel Pashmina fills a gap the resort didn’t even know it had. It embodies the true spirit of the mountains: a refuge, a retreat, a haven for travellers who want authenticity, calm, and genuine hospitality. Once you arrive, there’s no need to go anywhere else. Everything is thoughtfully provided: two excellent restaurants, a cosy bar with light entertainment by the fireplace, a spa, a gym, a ski shop, and above all, a level of personalised service that feels both professional and sincerely warm. The spa alone deserves a special mention, complete with a swimming pool, hammam, sauna, and two outdoor hot tubs overlooking the mountains. It’s the perfect place to unwind after a day on the slopes. For dining, Base Camp offers delicious daily dinners and an irresistible dessert buffet, while the Explorateur provides an unforgettable gastronomic experience for a special evening. What sets Pashmina apart is the love, passion, and meticulous attention to detail that shape every corner of the hotel. Coming from a high-performance sports background, I know how much difference that extra 1% can make. The Gorini family clearly shares this mindset. From the architecture and room design to the atmosphere in the corridors, the quality of the service, the consistency of the staff, and the presentation of each dish, everything reflects a commitment to excellence that surprises me every time I return. Most importantly, this is a place created and run by true mountain and ski enthusiasts. Their pride, passion, hard work, and generosity are woven into the identity of the hotel. This is the essence of Pashmina. Every time I leave, I feel a touch of melancholy, already looking forward to my next stay. I leave relaxed, recharged, and ready to take on new challenges with my team. Hotel Pashmina is more than a hotel; it’s a place that stays with you long after you’ve gone.

Best location with fantastic food and accommodations. The Team is very professional and you always get the feeling you are at home !. Rooms are cozy and well equipped. Already 4 years in the row, I am going to book for next year again.

We stayed at the Pashmina 1st week of feb 2026. What an incredible place! We had a 4 bed apartment which was very comfortable and beautifully dressed. This is a very luxurious and elegant hotel, but very understated. The staff are friendly and attentive, but also discreet. If you are looking for showy people and surroundings, this is not for you. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

This hotel is amazing! We couldn’t fault it if we tried. Every member of staff was so kind and helpful and friendly and they couldn’t do enough for you. Our room was super comfortable, cleaned beautifully every morning and turned down at night whilst we were at dinner. The food was sublime. The hotel is literally on the slopes so you could Ski out in the morning and straight back at the end of the day and then just walk down the steps to the ski and boot room. We literally didn’t have to carry our skis anywhere! The snow was excellent and the ski resort as a whole was vast and perfect for all levels. The swimming pool and Jacuzzi for after skiing were perfect and it was fun sitting in the hot tub outside watching the skiers come down the slope. We can’t recommend this hotel and Val Thorens in general highly enough. It’s 5 stars are well deserved. We will certainly be returning. Thank you for an amazing holiday.

Super hotel. Great location and most friendly service. The rooms are. I’ve, comfortable and quiet. The choice of menu in the restaurant is limited however and we were bit disappointed by the quality. This was our 4th or 5th stay here and we will certainly be back.
