Outstanding ski in ski out hotel at Courchevel 1850. First class staff, superb, beautiful bar and dinning room. Exceptional breakfast and magnificent evening dining menu. Fabulous ski room and team. A truly wonderful hotel. We love the Carlina. Thank you again.

I booked Hotel Carlina Courchevel 1850 expecting at least a solid four-star standard, even if not a true five-star experience. Unfortunately, the reality has been disappointing. The rooms are extremely outdated, and the bathrooms feel old and worn. The family room provided for my nanny and children felt unsafe, with low wooden ceilings and steep stairs posing a risk. My own room had a very strong, unpleasant odor that gave me a headache. Management did attempt to offer a room change, which I appreciated. However, I felt uncomfortable with the visible exchange of looks between staff, which came across as judgmental and unprofessional.

The location of the hotel is very good However there are multiple issues regarding the hotel Bads: The continues party music does not suit either with the interior nor with the ambiance. The hotel seems to be understaffed as they fail to clean up the room until 4 pm. The staff’s priority do not seem to be the guests but the owner as when you ask something the respond is always “but the big boss wants like that” Goods: They have a good breakfast Location of the hotel is good Out sourced ski room team is good Concierge team is good Overall we were not happy with the hotel’attitude towards us. Through the week there was a terrible fire at one of the hotels nearby which made all the guests very nervous. Therefore we were even expecting a more accommodating approach from them

Stayed at the hotel for 3 nights. Excellent location and lovely comfortable rooms with amazing views. The staff particularly at reception and breakfast made the trip even better for me. They were so kind and pleasant to be around. Also a note for how amazing room service is! Thanks for having us, we will be back again soon.
