Not enough words can fully describe this modernly-refurbished fairy-tale hotel, its surrounding and location, also the lovely breakfast offering in a wonderful setting - a great albeit too short stay for our one night stop in Lyon.
We had a very good rest, likely and largely due to the very positive aura of the whole place (I imagine how decades and even centuries of prayers that took place here from the time it was a monastery/nunnery has brought about the serenity and blessing you could feel palpable in the air ☺️).
Much appreciate the front of the house team who welcome us kindly despite our late time of arrival, and even more so the lovely lady during breakfast who helped elevate our peaceful morning enjoyment. Thank you for your hospitality.

A very good point. The staff and management are very attentive to the well-being of their clients. The atmosphere is wonderful. The service is high-quality. I stayed there for a week, and they all do a wonderful job, which I want to highlight. Thank you to the director and his team for their commitment and all their efforts to satisfy clients' needs. Was one of the best hotels in France

The location is good, right next to the ancient Roman theater. Other attractions are a bit of a walk away, but all are within walking distance. The hotel service is standard, the cleanliness is good, there is a restaurant and facilities, and the parking lot is quite large. The mountain road is a bit winding, and even after using both Waze and Gaode Maps, there were still some errors.

From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by a lady at the front desk whose grace and professionalism set the tone for the entire stay. Her manner…poised, attentive, effortlessly kind…embodied the spirit of hospitality that makes this place world-class.
The building itself, once a 19th-century convent and boarding school, still carries its calm dignity.
Every detail seems considered: the polished wood, the measured quiet of the rooms, the view of Lyon that reminds you why this hill has always been sacred ground. To rest here is to feel time slow down.
I could not ask for more…a warm welcome, a thoughtful restoration, and a staff that honors the building’s soul as much as its guests.

The hotel is located on a mountain, so public transportation is inconvenient, especially if you're dragging luggage; you'll have to rely on Uber. However, the advantage is that everything is within easy walking distance; even the river is only a 15-minute walk downhill.
The room was decent, quite large, but not very warm and didn't offer much of a view. However, some basic research beforehand would have helped.
The breakfast wasn't as good as I expected, just average. The service was quite good.
The steaming water in the hotel swimming pool was actually quite cold; it was just too cold outside. 😂

The hotel itself is located in a fabulous setting and very close to the Basilica, Roman Ampitheatre and Furniculure into the city centre. Rooms are immaculate and cool.
We didn’t eat a meal here as we felt it was. Set expensive in comparison to other Lyon restaurants and the menu choice isn’t huge but the bar staff are very friendly and efficient.
The pool and spa area is very nice for relaxing in the sun and shade.

So glad we chose this place to stay in Lyon.
The hotel itself is well designed and in a tranquil setting away from the main city center.
It is located on a hill but thanks to the tram you are never more than a few stops away from the old city center.
I would highly recommend staying here

Excellent hotel in the best neighborhood of Lyon. The rooms are spotless, breakfast delicious and I loved everything from the beginning. The reception is very beautiful as the hotel including the spa area and the gardens. Thank you very much for the stay!

The room was located on a hilltop, making it very quiet at night. Opening the window, I could hear the birdsong and the fragrance of flowers, a pleasant experience. The room rate was reasonable and the value was good. The breakfast was average. The hotel grounds were spacious. There was a small square outside the hotel, making it convenient to the hilltop church.
