Ibis Paris Maine Montparnasse 14ème in Paris

Very friendly people, easy neighborhood to get around the city, many transportation options available, the hotel is basic but it’s the best you can get for the price…

Had a great stay at the IBIS Paris Maine Montparnasse.

It was nice, the breakfast was very good! The staff friendly! The only problem for me was the lack of air conditioning. I could not change it. It was very warm during the night. I complain but did not change.

It was a very good hotel. The receptionist was polite and I'm glad I stayed at this hotel.

The room is not big, but it is enough for two people. The room is very clean. I basically get up at noon and go sightseeing, then drink and dance until late at night. In fact, I just want to sleep. It is a bit noisy but it is bearable.

This is great little hotel in a quiet area of Paris with restaurants and bars nearby. The staff were excellent, welcoming and helpful. Would highly recommend and would gladly stay here again.

Small Ibis in a quiet neighborhood near Gare Montparnasse. Reception on check-in was cold, but other staff were generally friendlier.

Room 259 was small, but that's the norm by Parisian standards. I had requested a patio-view room, but alas had been given a street-view one instead (although I was never woken up by any outside noise during my stay). Wifi worked fine, TV had your standard local fare + a few satellite channels (CNN, BBC World, NHK World, (French) beIN, etc...). Had a room safe, something other Ibis hotels in the area do not.
Not much to complain about the room save for two things: the shower that had a faulty drain (and the curtain was simply not enough to contain the spillover), and the aircon/heater that made noise even when turned off (didn't bother me when I went to sleep at night, but I imagine it could be an issue for other guests).

Breakfast was your average continental offering, they also had madeleines and pancakes (with maple syrup) available. Due to Covid the tongs you usually use to grab food were instead included alongside your set of utensils when you went to grab a plate and a tray. Food was of good quality, coffee was OK.

Overall very average Ibis experience, not amazing but not horrible either and it suited perfectly my expectations with the low price I had payed to stay here for a period of 7 days.

Tiny hotel with tiny rooms, but it was clean and the price was reasonable.
