Just following up with what David Wittevert wrote about this hotel which is completely ridiculous and stupid wrong.
Have been staying in this hotel for almost 2years now when ever in Paris.
The manager and staffs are very friendly and kind you are welcome with a smile and you feel at home.

Good place because is close to MOULIN ROUGE...The services is good. Maria Julien is very nice and professional. The breakfast is not enought. Furniture needs updating...
Got to Hotel le Cardinal late Friday night. The staff was quick, courteous, and professional. They helped us get our key quickly. The room was quite sizable, clean, fresh, and smelled good. It was a good feeling after a long drive. The outlets take 220v but not with round adapters (see foto). They allow dogs here which is perfect! The elevator is quick. The shower is really nice and so is the bathroom area. They include a fridge to use and a medium size tv. The windows open fully which is nice. The walls seem pretty thick because I didn't hear any noise the whole night. The room gets relatively dark but not pitch black.

It's a good hotel. The rooms are small but not to the point where you can barely move (as it often happens in Paris) and the breakfast is quite alright. The staff is friendly and efficient. The only thing that is lacking, I suppose, are toiletries; they provide one thing that can be used for the body and the hair, and it's not that good.
+ Its at the end of a quiet street although you are nearby everything. The rooms size is okay compared to Paris. Staff is friendly enough. My request for an iron was promptly answered but no board was given. Kazi at the breakfast room was most hospitable and attentive to every customer.

Small rooms with french balcony. Hot in the summer. Has everything a business trip requires.
