Shocking, the worst B&B hotel we’ve ever stayed in. We’ve stayed in many of them in Spain and France and always had a good experience until now. There are some terrible reviews of this hotel but they reply to them saying that they learn from the feedback which helps them improve, so that gives you confidence that you won’t experience the same, but clearly that is not the case ! The only good thing about this hotel is the staff who are super friendly and nice. Otherwise there is nothing good about it. The room was the most cramped I’ve ever stayed in anywhere, absolutely no room to move or put anything except under the bed. The bathroom too was tiny although big shower so at least that was something. The sheets and towels seemed clean thankfully but the toilet was filthy with visible small spots of splattered excrement on the underside of the seat and something nasty and brown running from the cistern into the toilet bowl. The soap dispenser holder was broken so the soap bottle just sits at the side of the basin and you have to pick it up and squeeze it and it leaves unhygienic residue on the surface which is the only place you have to put your wash bag etc. The public toilet near to the breakfast area wasn’t much better, the wash basin looked like it hadn’t been cleaned for a week with black grime and hairs around it. My husband has a breakfast, I do not, but always the breakfast at B&B hotels is really good value. This was not on a par with others. Only fresh fruit was apples, bacon was cold and like rubber. Queues at the one juice machine and one coffee machine. We paid 85€ for this tiny room and dirty facilities which is a lot more than we’ve paid for B&B Hotels of a far better standard. If I had paid 30€ for the room I would have expected the standard I experienced and not been surprised but to charge 85€ for this, in an industrial location is not acceptable. I rarely write bad reviews as often bad services can be a temporary issue or one off, but in this case and given the previous responses of the establishment to customers’ bad experiences, I feel it is justified to write what I have.
