Hotel Colisee - Verdun in Montpellier

But the reception is good specially the guys
But the old lady isnt well mannered...she should learn how to behave with your guest...also she isnt available on the reception all the time...very disappointed for her behave....not satisfied at all

Across the street from a sex shop tells you all you need to know. Not in a good neighborhood. The walls are paper thin. In the morning someone took a shower and you could hear everything! The rooms are dingy and small along with the bathroom. If we hadn't arrived so late, we would have kept driving. We basically tried to sleep and get out! Very hard to get to the location as well. Most businesses that were open had their doors locked! Run!

Definitely an interesting experiance.
Smelly, awfully dirty shared toilet, not nearly as acceptable as it looks like in the pictures. Rooms were clean, sheets were very old and we didn't have a pillow, but a towel rolled up instead. The shower was quite dirty and the sink hasn't been cleaned up before our arrival.
Although it is very cheap and it's really close to the train station, it really didn't rise up to our expectations and we wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

This is a 2 star hotel, but for us max a 0 star hotel.... The pictures you see on this site has nothing to do with the small room we were sleeping in.... This is the toilet - I think it's says all what I'm takling about !

Not value for money at 60 Euros night for the room with shower. The toilet on the landing is the size of a broom cupboard, I could barely fit inside it.
Only had 1 power socket in the room.
Good location though, near to the station and centre.
Most of the staff are very pleasant apart from the owner! Horrible person.
The Owner is extremely rude! I checked out at 10.30am but needed to leave my bag in the reception cupboard until I left at 5pm on the day. I went out for the day at 10.30am and came back to the Hotel at 3.00pm. I then sat on the sofa in Reception.
I needed to wait in reception for 2 hrs before I left for my flight. This has never been a problem wherever I've stayed and I'm a frequent traveller. The owner and I quote his words "Why are you here? You need to leave now, come back for your bags, you are not staying here with me for 2 hrs". They were quite happy to ask me to pay my bill the night before I left though.
If I hadn't already paid my bill the previous night I would have refused on the day.
I also recall the same person on reception when I arrived and he wasn't very friendly then.
