Very quiet hotel with friendly staff on reception.
BUT ghastly decor in room. Rude lady in the dining area who berated people in French for sitting in the wrong place. When they didn’t understand, she picked up their plate and cutlery and plonked them down onto the correct table. She also told off guests from taking fruit or bread from the breakfast area at 4.45 a.m., even though reception had said we could take something for the long journey home.
The food was terrible - English school dinners in the 1960s terrible. Lots of corners cut for the coach party compared to customers coming into the restaurant from outside. Worst food I have ever had in France (or anywhere else, come to that).

Beautiful, classical hotel.
The staff were very kind and friendly and speaking English well.
But the location and parking was very tricky.
My car was towed on the 31st of DEC ;(

Except for it, everything was perfectly beautiful!

Hotel is a bit dated and rooms could do with upgrade. Breakfast is a good standard. Friendly and helpful staff.

My sisters and I stayed at this hotel for a few nights. We came from California to visit the famous place of St. Thérèse (or Saint Thérèse). We enjoyed our stay very much. The staff treated us with kindness and were super helpful. They were not annoyed with our endless questions and requests. We liked their buffet spread. We highly recommend this hotel. Our thanks to all the staff.

A decent hotel, though rather run down. However, it does NOT have air conditioning. And the temperatures in July in Lisieux were sweltering. Would never have booked this if I have known it did not have air conditioning. Room was also expensive for the quality of it…

Nice hotel in good location close to the train station. Really nice staff, good room & nicely prepared things for family traveling with a baby. Downstairs restaurant was not that good though, and hotel is not accessible (a lot of stairs at the entrance), otherwise a great stay!

My wife and I live a few blocks away so, we've had no reason to use the rooms. The restaurant is large, good service, good food at a reasonable price. The variety doesn't change much but, there are specials to be had. The bar/lounge is spacious and comfortable as well.

We did not have a good experience from check-in (room not ready), to when we wanted to have dinner at the restaurant (no space available) and finally when we wanted to sleep, unable due to the noise from neighbours.

Definitely not soundproof rooms.
Our duvet had velcro in the middle to link 2 single duvets together.
