The loo would not stop filling, we had to use the manual over ride.
The hot water took ages to reach the room. Because of this other guests had clearly got frustrated with the shower control, and had turned it so often it did not work. Result is a very hot shower. The room needs a new shower controller quickly before some one is scolded.

Wonderful hotel! Fantastic staff!! Bruce, Louise and Collette were so friendly and helpful. The location is perfect. We were close to sites and delicious restaurants. I highly recommend the Hotel Literaire Gustave Flaubert.

Rooms, clean, small, but easy to navigate.
The most interesting experience, a car elevator.

Great location for a stay in Rouen. We were there for Giverny ((Monet’s home) and it was a short walk to the train station for that. The hotel is in the center of the Old Market area, lots of great restaurants and outdoor cafes. Very close to the cathedral and other 5* sites. Smallish room but great shower and bed.

Such a lovely hotel, staff so friendly and pleasant - understanding of our poor French language skills! Ideal location for exploring and eating and drinking.
Breakfast was delicious with great options and yummy freshly squeezed orange juice.
Parking was an adventure, with a short drive through a pedestrian area (a few strange looks) followed by a tight car lift. But for an EV driver it made our trip so easy to park there and leave the car on charge. If I hadn’t booked the EV space, I would probably recommend parking in the old market car park instead as it is less than a 5 minute walk to the hotel and actually cheaper than the hotel parking.
But a definite 10 out of 10 recommendation for a hotel for anyone staying in Rouen.
