The hotel was very convenient to the t rain station and was walkable from the old town. Staff was very helpful, letting us check in early when we had notified them of our early arrival in advance.

Good value, great staff
Excellent service, the folk on reception were all brilliant. Breakfast was simple but good. It's a bit cramped but ok for the price.

The floor rug and bed were a bit dusty but staff service was excellent.

On the ******* description, it stated that there was free parking on site. There isn't. It is on the road and limited free parking, you may have to pay. There is no one st the hotel until 4pm, do if you arrive earlier you have to wait outside.
Also, the bathroom and toilet are separate and do not have any ventilation. The curtains are thin and in the morning the outside lights are lit at about 6.30 and its like daylight jn the room. There are shutters but we were not informed of these on arrival.

Lovely hotel, close to city centre. Don’t be put off by the two stars - this place is fantastic. Great terrace for breakfast and good service. A great place to stay, particularly if you want to stay somewhere non-corporate. Looked after us really well
