Lovely welcome and given lots of local info Room comfy and clean only small negative is that scary underground carpark very very narrow and steep to get in
Excellent staff and good location.

Pleasant stay with family
The garage is charged separately and is extremely narrow, so be careful. Seriously!
The hotel is 20 min walk to the historical town.
We had an issue with the shower and we were immediately moved to another room. Great staff.
The heating in the room was not great though.
The breakfast had very few options and it was not worth it.
Room was lovely and clean. Breakfast was good. Easy to walk to from the train station. Tours is a very walkable city.
Good area, walkable into the old town. Staff were pretty welcoming, a little French helped. Room was quiet, very effective aircon. Slightly dated but good value for the cost. Breakfast disappointing, with really bad coffee from the machine. On the whole, though, would stay there again.

Didn’t like the cleanliness. Lots of dust everywhere and very dirty bathroom floor. After I asked to clean it next day, it wasn’t any better.

Location was handy for us, but ok
Very good bedding, clean and well decorated room. Very good breakfast. Very pleasant and friendly staff. Thank you for your advice and your welcome..., as soon as we pass through Tours, we will come back to you. Storage room for bicycles and free parking…
Excellent welcome, pleasant warm staff. Whether you're dealing with Gwen, Bryan, Andrea, they're all smiling. Samantha upstairs is extraordinarily polite and very helpful.
We spent one night there which was very pleasant, the room and the bathroom seem to have been recently renovated. Regarding the cleanliness of the room, nothing to report. The hotel is located about 10 minutes by car from the city center (30 minutes on foot).
Stayed here for one night whilst passing through to Biscarosse - pleasantly surprised at the high standard of the hotel! Private parking a plenty around the bank, very clean and great amenities. The man on reception when we arrived the afternoon of 14th July, was excellent. He really took his time to explain the best places to visit in the city and marked them all on the map for us.

Pleasant stay
Nice hotel for overnight stay on our travels
The staff are doing a reasonable job of working with a tired building that would benefit from updating & modernisation. We were travelling back to the UK & the location is conveniently close to main autoroutes & whilst set in a retail park was quiet. The restaurant does not open on Sunday, the day of our arrival, but there are 4 or 5 restaurants within a 5 minute walk. Breakfast is adequate without...
A good price quality ratio, the hotel is quite new, wooden floor in the rooms, friendly service, breakfast is good, next to tramway and bus lines,
Convenient location for our last leg of road trip. Location itself was within an industrial estate ( with Many restaurants and hotels close by) Interior clean and modern. Outside a little dated Restaurant states it is open mon-fri, but was closed on our arrival on a Friday Rooms are clean, but a little small. Double bed not much bigger than a single and the single bed was “roll over and fall out...
Bit outdated small hotel along the highway, but perfectly clean and with excellent service. We booked short before and arrived after midnight. Although we were kindly given the codes for the gate and the door, the lady had waited for us to arrive. Very kind.
Can't say much about it, since we stayed just for the night. But would select it again on my next trip

Rundown property with 90s aesthetic. Bath tub/Shower was super slippery and shower handle was placed in a very awkward position. Dark hallways.. dark furniture.
Very helpful receptionist. Excellent breakfast. Good location. Old hotel however a good vibe. Our stay was enjoyable
Property is located perfectly in the center of the town in walking distance of food and a lot of shopping. Breakfast at the property is not included with your stay it is extra.
Depressing .
The room had a dark and dismal decor . It is an old building which is in an excellent location for shops , the old town and restaurants .
Located in the old part of town, walkable to restaurants, bars and shops, with parking for guests (reserve in advance) for €11 per day. Staff at hotel reception were very welcoming. We stayed for one night. Would recommend this hotel for its convenience, safety and welcoming staff.
I like this hotel very much. The transportation is very convenient. It is opposite the train station. It is clean and sanitary. The breakfast is not bad.

Beautiful little hotel that is perfect for exploring Tours or nearby Loire Valley chateaux. The proprietors were very friendly and suggested a local restaurant that was delicious. The hotel is a short walk from excellent restaurants, bars, and shopping. We had a lovely little balcony in room 4, which is huge by European standards. The bathrooms are very nice with lots of hot water. The decor is eclectic...
Very atmospheric with creative touches. Loved the individual china cuos, saucers and plates at breakfast. The stairs were manageable.
The room was huge and the shower was amazing! It was clean and decorated so nicely.
Great position. Great vibe. You’re metres from an amazing eat street and 15 minutes walk from the old city.
Breakfast was fine, no hot options.
The downstairs room smelled weird, a strange cementy, catch in the back of your throat sort of thing. We asked for deodoriser, nothing came.
Lovely little hotel. Clean spacious rooms. Excellent staff. The hotel has an artsy bohemian feel to it with lots of colours and a welcoming feeling. We would definitely stay there again.
I enjoyed my seven nights stay at the Hotel du Cygne. Certainly, it is convenient. A 10 minute walk from the bus station, one minute walk to a fabulous row of restaurants and great access to the river, museums, and people watching. The hotel itself is in good condition and has a friendly staff. I stayed in room 22 and it was comfortable and clean with a good view, however, I would comment that if you...

Only stayed one night wish it had been a good bit longer. Edward and his wife very helpful. I could have spent the day in my room watching the world going by. Tours wonderful.
Lovely, authentic and comfortabel hotel. In the center of Tours, just near the train station. Very friendly staff (husband and wife) which speak English quite well (especially compared to other people in France!) Fine and clean rooms and tastefull breakfast. Best transit hotel we've had in our tour(s) de France and in my opinion it has a much better price-quality ratio than budget hotels from big chains...
A very old, and dated, but clean hotel in central Tours across the street from the train station. I liked it but it is not for everyone. There was a slight smell that I would attribute to the age of the hotel, something like you`d sense in an old book store. It wasn`t bothersome, and something you might expect in older, similarly level establishments. Some maintenance and repairs required, but nothing...
If you are looking for nostalgia, a feeling of how things were 30 years ago then the Hotel de l’Europe offers that, for sure, but at a compromise. That compromise is only appreciated when you have travelled and stayed in modern purpose-built hotels. The walls in modern hotels are sound proofed, when the neighbouring room flushes the toilet it does not sound like a thunderstorm. The beds are comfortable...

Check-in is available between 2 PM and 7 PM. If the front desk is occupied before or after this time, you can store your luggage. If not, that's fine. Be aware.

A little overpriced compared to the services offered.
The room is being sold as a studio, but I'm concerned that the size and amenities aren't up to scratch.
I found two other similar establishments in the neighborhood with a much more welcoming exterior and reception area.
Very convenient location, bit dated but ok
The check in time is very short but the keys are prepared and information was clear so I could check in without a problem. My room didn't have AC so it was quite hot when the temperature was around 30 . The pedestal fan was very helpful but not enogh. Overall I liked the place.

Spacious rooms, great location, and nice staff. Highly recommended!
No matter how new and beautiful a building may look, it will inevitably become old over time. However, the hospitality of the staff never fades.
The hotel was in a great location and the gentleman at the front desk was amazing. However the shower didn't drain and there was no A/C.
the hotel is located in a very safe neighborhood and in walking distance to all places that you want go. the owners are great people and very accommodating. highly recommended. 👍👍👍
Chose this hotel mainly for it’s location and access to a private courtyard for our motorbikes. Rooms were comfortable. The bathroom was a bit too small and the shower quickly became a wet room due to the configuration of the room itself. Breakfast was simple but very good, especially the scrambled eggs.

A small, functional hotel, but a good choice for a budget stay; it's located right in the city center, you can walk to the cathedral and Tours castle in 5-10 minutes, and there are plenty of small restaurants nearby; the staff is very friendly and the room is quite quiet; the bedding is very comfortable; the €8 breakfast is quite reasonable, I highly recommend it
Between two business trips, I found a room in this hotel where the staff were professional and helpful. In fact, even though I arrived after the check-in deadline, they were accommodating and understanding.
The hotel is located on a quiet street, the comfort is relatively good, and the cleanliness is also good. The premises are a bit dated, but that's also part of the hotel's charm.
The hotel has a lot going for it. The rooms are comfy and spacious. The bathroom is excellent. The breakfast is very good. The staff is as good as it gets. The bed is huge and comfortable. There is even a coffee pod machine in the room. But there is some downside. The entry stairs are steep. The lift is small. The TV is ordinary with no English language news. The air conditioning turns itself off
Location, location!
Friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast, continental style, was filling but ordinary. I find the location of this hotel is a big draw, as close to trams, most tourist destinations (eg, cathedral, museums, station, historic areas, river) but is on a quieter road.
Excellent value for money.
