La Bastide Des Salins in St. Tropez

We had a wonderful stay at La Bastides des Salins. The service was incredibly kind and attentive, and everyone made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The rooms are beautiful, the grounds are peaceful and impeccably maintained, and the food was absolutely delicious. Already can’t wait to come back - 10/10 recommend!

A little haven of peace amid the hustle and bustle of St Tropez. My wife, 7 months pregnant, and I loved the beautiful grounds, comfortable room, and warm, smiling service throughout our stay. Walking distance to the lovely Plage des Salins, it was the perfect peaceful escape during a busy time — we left feeling relaxed and refreshed.

Serenity in Saint Tropez! Just down the street from the town but feels like many miles away in a quiet area! The staff,, the property, the pool... everything is wonderful and pristine. It is definitely a small boutique hotel, you feel like you have the place to yourself! The La Bastide Beach tote to use while at the property is a cute touch:) The pool was sexy and at most there were 2 other couples at it with us. We spent 3 nights and sure wish we had longer! They gave us a room upgrade- the room was gorgeous! Large clean and even had an upstairs extra bathroom with soaking tub! The bed is giant and so comfy! AC worked great. Bathroom was spacious and modern with nice toiletries. The parking is secure and free. The shuttle service is so convenient and prompt! The breakfast isn't giant but enough. They don't have a restaurant (we knew that) but that was fine for us as we wanted to go into town for dinner and nightlife anyways and the shuttle makes that sooo easy to do! They did have a light lunch menu served by the pool and that was a nice surprise and it was tasty! They opened and kept chilled a bottle of wine that we got from a local winery which was nice as we didn't have to buy wine we could drink our own while lounging by the pool! The staff helped us make reservations for dinners and were so receptive to any questions or requests. The gardens were expansive and they had bicycles to take out which we did one afternoon. We biked to Salins Beach just down the quiet street (also walking distance). Be sure to walk around the corner to get to the larger beach! Our stay was exactly what I was hoping for for our last leg in the French Riviera. I wanted to feel like I was in luxurious Saint Tropez and La Bastide delivered! We would love to return!

Exclusive private place, with beautiful rooms and garden, close to the beach and downtown Saint Tropez. Far enough away to escape the busy life, and walk to the beach is just 9 minutes. Bikes are available on the property, easy parking and lovely breakfast in the morning right at the pool. Everything was just perfect! We will be back, can’t wait!

I have been here twice now and we really love it. We were here with a small baby and everything was very baby friendly.
The rooms are super sweet and the service comes twice a day, which is such a nice add on. Overall is everything very clean, everyone is very caring, friendly and helpful and the service is amazing. Also the shuttle to town is very convenient to have and the beach is just walking distance. We would always come back and recommend it to all friends.

Was very pleasantly surprised by our stay at La Bastide des Salins. The location is walking distance from the Salins beach strip, where you can go on a small hike. I loved the fact that there were only a handful of rooms, which meant quiet breakfast, not super commercial, good products, gentle staff. The room was spacious, cosy and clean. Thank you to all the staff for this wonderful stay!

Small 14 room hotel with beautiful gardens, a nice pool, gym and parking. The rooms are very well equipped and has everything you need. It's walking distance to the beach and a 10 minute drive to St. Tropez city, for which the hotel offers an hourly shuttle, but the hotel also has bicycles one can borrow. The restaurant serves snacks but no proper dinner, which suited us perfectly. It's super cozy and is a great base for a St. summer stay. Areas for improvement: The internet strength is not great, especially not in the room, and the breakfast was a bit touch and go, great produce, but the staff were rather slow to restock when they ran out of something (it must be said that we were there during absolute high season where the hotel was 100% full). That being said, then it is still a very nice hotel, and we will be happy to return.

This hotel is truly a hidden gem in St Tropez. From the property , to the grounds , to the staff and rooms , everything exceeded expectations. The hotel is only around 8 minutes taxi / shuttle drive to hustle and bustle of St Tropez so affords a sanctuary so you can dip in and dip out. The shuttle service is a real plus and a game changer - the driver was such a nice man and his service was impeccable . I would definitely stay here again and encourage you to do so too.

Great hotel with beautiful rooms! You will love the gardens and pool area! They serve the breakfast at the pool area and is a very small buffet. The choices are limited but you can manage to have a good breakfast. I recommend this place! You will love it
