This Hotel is the only Soviet Sanatorium in operation in the city.
It’s not perfect but it’s a rather unique experience to sleep in an historical place.
The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. A personal thank you to Omar who kindly showed us around the building.
I have read some negative reviews here too. Do not go here if you think the buffet is some Turkish riviera all-in-resort. It’s not and it does not want to be. Don’t go if you want the most luxurious hotel on the planet. It’s not the purpose of the place. Do not go if you don’t want to understand that the furniture
is actually dating back from Soviet era and that you are actually having the opportunity to sleep in a time capsule.
