Duende Treehouses & Cocktails in Lagodekhi

My partner and I had a great stay at Duende in early November. We loved the hot tub after a day's hiking and enjoyed the quiet nature and good food. Thankyou again!

We stayed for 3 nights here, great place to relax in the nature. We loved it and the food was amazing. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. They serve the food according to our preferences no chicken or meat and we really appreciated that. Everyone one was so friendly to our son.

I went there with my friends this weekend. It was an amazing time, was so refreshing and relaxing. There is a little natural hot tub at outside and it was perfect . The hotel surrounded by foliages and there is a river that even it has a man made swimming pool, helping for cool down in hot summer days. There are adorable animals like cats and dogs. Garfield is so friendly. Overall I had a good time there. I would highly recommend this place.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The houses were incredibly cozy. Being surrounded by beautiful nature and so close to the river and national park made the experience even greater. It was the perfect mix of comfort and wilderness

Every house has its own fire place and a hot tube for 2. I also really enjoyed my room—it was comfortable, clean, and felt like a peaceful retreat right in the middle of the forest

The food was delicious and clearly made with care, and the personal treatment from the staff was exceptional. They made us feel truly welcome and taken care of the entire time

Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind and reconnect with nature in a cozy and well-run place!

A very nice place, very private and intimate and everything made with love and with details. Warm hospitality with good Georgian food. The house Amor has a wonderful view into the forest. A little cramped for three adults, but fine for us.
A place to switch off and relax.

I had very mixed experience in Duende.
I totally loved the location. The owners kept relict forest inside the property as it is. So you basically live in a fairy tell: huge trees around, covered with lianas, ferns. Fire in the night, hot tub near the fire. Amazing!!! Truly loved it! The energy of a place is very relaxing, so I had beautiful run-away from the city.

The minuses were present though:
1. In email was said that there are no restaurant, but there were no mention that we can find ourselves in situation when there will be no one on reception to make us simple sandwich. So one day we were starving till 5 pm just because everyone left to the city. For 200$ a night it's definitely what you not expecting to recieve.
And when we talked about it I felt a lot tension from the owners side. Like we asking for too much.
But common, make a sandwich and I'll be happy.
2. The room is very small. There is no door in the bathroom, which makes your private actions not private at all. There is no window you can open, so circulation of air is absent unless you will open the door. And there is no blanket cover. Only a sheet on which you can put the blanket, which someone used. Not very hygenic.
3. No wifi. For me it was fine, but for someone can be vital. For 200 dollars a night it should be there anyway.
4. In general I felt that the guys making this place for themselves than for the hospitality and pleasure of others. I can totally get in, but not for a fee of 200 dollars a night. When i pay that much, I normally expect more attention to details and my basic needs like food.

But in general I enjoyed my vacation in this place.

One of the best hotels I have ever been

This place is a small peace of heaven, its just so well thought and so well built that became one of the best memories for us. The nature is fascinating, calm and comfortable too stay. Food was great, the owners are so sweet and well coming that we felt like home. Over all its a must if you visit Georgia.
