The hotel is conveniently located at the entrance of the Lagodekhi National Park, making it an ideal spot for relaxation and nature walks. The room was really clean and comfortable. Very good place for kids to run and have fun on the fresh air.
The only recommendation I have is about the service at the restaurant. I think it needs some improvement.

My friend had come to Wald and the rooms were beautifully decorated manager is great and the restaurant had delicious food and the two guys who served us on Saturday were kind and understanding.

"I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The room was clean, cozy, and well equipped with everything I needed. The staff were very welcoming and attentive, which made the experience even better. I would definitely come back again!"

A lovely hotel near the woods. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff were very friendly, the food was good, and we really enjoyed spending time on the terrace.

This is a wonderful hotel situated right at the entrance of the national park.
We return to this hotel frequently due to its excellent location, comfortable rooms and delicious food.
The grounds and pool area are very beautiful and great for children.
The manager (Keti) and her dedicated team always make us very welcome and comfortable - the service is impeccable.

Had to give one star because of two reasons
1. Mainly because it led us find this amazing georgian restaurant only a few minutes away (not royal palace, that place is no prize either).
2. Google wont let me review the amazing service that we got here without assigning a star. You might get a seat at the table but food might or might not make it to you. We got an amazing table under a tree. After a measly 1 hour wait, where we were challenged with a fasting option (we were not fans) we were told that “Unfortunately there is no gas. You get no food. Bye” I am paraphrasing but there were other complaints aside from us, so…
Other people were served though, you might be one of the lucky ones. If you love a lottery for your dinner, this is your place to be. I like my restaurants a bit more deterministic.

We went to Waldhotel as a group of friends. The host and the whole staff was very warm-hearted and welcoming. They serve delicious homemade wine and food at the restaurant and the room was sparkling clean. The location of the hotel is awesome and it's only surrounded by pure nature. I highly recommend staying at Waldhotel for a beautiful overall experience! I will definitely come back soon!
