Guest House Shota in Sighnaghi

This place is located at the edge of the city, yet very close to downtown, making it both peaceful and convenient. The host is warm and welcoming, and the view is absolutely stunning. The rooms are clean with basic furniture, and there’s a large terrace where you can enjoy plenty of peace, quiet, and much-needed me time plus with a well organized kitchen. After our time in Tbilisi, we were looking for a place where we could calm our souls a bit, and this was exactly what we needed. A wonderful stay!

The view is as good as it gets and lovely host

He has a museum. About himself. And an ancient Nokia phone. And a pleasant guesthouse. What a legend! Thanks Shota Bezhashvili. The photos added are his gym, not the guesthouse.

This was a complete surprise. Shota talked to me in the park and I got thiq instant feeling that this might be a place to stay. And well, i wasn't wrong. Shotas family house is situted down the hill, just few minutes from the centre. It has This hughe terace overlooking the valley, i can only imagine the Caucas mountains behind there. Shota, once world record holder in bench lift, has a small museum full of trophies from his active powerlifting life. Hakuna, his wife prepared gorgeous and tich breakfast,i was welcomed with home made wine...
The room was big,cosy and clean...and the air in the village beats the one in Tbilisi. Perfect stay in Sighnaghi! Would definitely recommend.

This place is awesome, the family is very kind and the keeper, Shota, is a real world champion: ask him why!

It is a very nice and lovely place to stay. I don't want to explain much, just try it out.

We arrived there without reservation, so we just asked for a room. The weightlifting world champion showed us a lovely room with a breathtaking view over the Valley.
He gave us some great vine and watermelon, after the great welcome he showed us his trophy-room and that was very impressive, definitely a must see when staying here.
The room had a single and a double bed, heating, air-conditioning and a little bathroom. All very clean.
You can park right in front of the house and it's just some steps away from town center.

Best guesthouse in town. Why ? Because of the people, the view, the quality... It is worth a visit !
