Hotel Pirosmani in Sighnaghi

Complete disaster. I couldn't image how is it possible to fail in so many things in just one night - they canceled booking, because we came 14:30, not 14:00, there was no cold water in bathroom, only boiling water, the toilet was leaking, they locked us ouyside, and did not respond and it was not even midnight, beds were terrible, the doors could not be locked and it was extremely noisy. There are many, much better options around!

Choose this place only if you can't pay by cash anywhere else, which was my case. It looks beautiful from outside, but the rooms are very simple compared to what they charge. My bed is not that comfortable, the attention is terrible, they barely look at you and their level of English is not enough for handling a conversation. The room I got has a TV from the late 90s (what's that for? Just take it away and leave space!). The bathroom looks clean, but it would need more cleaning, to be honest. Oh, and the Internet just doesn't work. This place could definitely be better without much effort.

We had a lovely time eating here and meeting other guests. However, they had numerous difficulties getting our order correct. Then, after we paid and left, the waitress followed us down the street stating we had not paid. There was a rather tense discussion in the street until the waitress relented huffily. There are other very good restaurants in Sighnaghi with better service.
