Levan & Megi in Dzhuta

It can’t get any more authentic than this! The family are all such warm and inviting people, and the house is very homely. You can pay a little extra for genuine home cooked food by the mother of the family and it was a huge highlight! The rooms are basic and comfy (although a little cold at night). And once the shower is warmed up it’s great. Highly recommend staying here!

Homely guesthouse with a spacious private room and comfy bed. The mother speaks a little English but the daughter Sofia speaks perfect English and we had a nice chat. Allowed us to pay via wire transfer as we running low on cash. Secured a taxi for us that come straight to the village at 100 GEL too.

Downside - Gets a little cold at night. Only one charging port for our room. Takes 20 mins for the shower water to heat up.

Amazing food. We had stayed at an apartment nearby and had meggie’s food for 2 days. The breakfast and dinner are amazing. The breakfast is very good, especially if you plan to hike after. one of the best authentic experiences you will get in Juta.

What a magical place. Private room with shared bathroom, all very clean and comfortable. The owners Levan and Meggie are super friendly and will help you with all you need. They offer breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as horseback tours. The view is just incredible. A wonderful place to recharge and hike up the mountains. Highly recommended:)

Very nice guesthouse. Great base for exploring the mountain area. Meggie is a friendly host and terrific cook. They only speak Georgian, but her daighter’s english is great.

If you wanna stay with local people, eat their food and feels like one of them this is the place, rustic, cozy home, the family speak just Georgian and they just very nice and attentive!

Best guesthouse in Juta, Levan and Meggie are the most nice and interesting people. Come here you won't regret it.

There are only 4 rooms in this house. One is used by the family. The other 3 are for guests. Megi is in charge of booking, cooking and housekeeping . Levan manages 4 horses and takes tourists to mountains everyday in the summer season. Both don’t speak or understand much English. Sofia helps with translation and most of time taking horses to mountains with dad.

Everyday they feed me with freshly home cooked food, tea, home baked cakes. And first day with vodka. ( Megi is a wild Georgian mom! ) They have made my stay as comfortable as at my own place. I haven’t felt awkward or strange, as if I have come home. Also they have a lovely puppy!

Family, mountain, horses, dog, this is home.

A wonderful guest house experience. Megi is an amazing cook and a host and Levan has so much knowledge of the area plus horses he can rent to guests with a guide for a trip up to the lakes. The views from the place are beautiful. The water in the shower works on gas so takes a bit to get warm and the stream is not very strong. It is a simple place but a truly great one to stay in. Very much recommended.

Very warm family hosting, kind and nice! It was amazing listening to their stories about the village. We ate both dinner and breakfast there and it was very tasty.
Notice that shower and toilet are shared, not an option for private, (but only 3 rooms total at the place)
