Splendid place if you want to a have local, simple and easy base for a perfect skii holiday in Gudauri.

This is not a luxury hotel, but a charming old place with the most wonderful staff.

The rooms are very simple and has a lot of malfunctions - for instance it’s not possible to regulate the heat on the radiators and electric solutions such as the outlets are questionable.
BUT the staff definitely makes up for all these things and makes you forget about the rest and enjoy our time here. When putting the expectations down you realize all the beauty about the place.

Such a sweet receptionist who helped us in any way we could wish for - even brining of our bags to our our room.

The common areas are nice with a bar (the bartender he’s a true star and made us feel more than welcome since the first day).

Breakfast is simple in style, but has everything you need before a day on the slope.

Again; you get what you pay for. This is definitely cheaper than many places in the area, but the personal and family run style of the hotel is difficult to count in money.

Big recommendations to visit this place for all kinds of travel; groups, couples, families and solo travelers.

I stayed at Gudauri Hut 28th of february to 7th of march 2026. My experience at Gudauri Hut was great but you should know, the price I paid was for a charter so I got it for a lot cheaper than on Booking.com.

First, the room, I recided in room 202. the shower is warm, sometimes too warm. The beds are comfortable and the sheets are warm. There is a russian Supra tv and both barsoap and shampoo is provided. The closet was spacious and I didn't find the room lacking. The window had a crack in it from previous guests and the only trashcan was the one next to the toilet.

The food, was okay. The buffet is nothing I recommend but for dinner there is a menu and the food that you order is good and not as expensive as some of the surrounding restaurants.

The staff is one of the best parts of the hotel, the receptionist is lovely and the waiters in the restaurants are very nice and accomodating. They all definitely made my experience better.

The hotel has an elevator, a sauna, a pooltable, pingpong table, free wifi and a bar. The ping pong is a little dated but works, the pool cues are a little worn but they also work for their purpose. The sauna costs 70 GEL for 1 or 2 people and there is an additional cost per person after that. The wifi is slow but not slower than any other wifi from hotels or restaurants in the area.

All in all I enjoyed my stay at Gudauri Hut and would definitely be willing to return!

Good place. The room is nice and the food is great. The only problem is the TV can't connect to wifi because it is slow, but considering that it is in the mountain, it is still okay.

Nice place. They have sauna. Evening bufee is good, breakfast lacks fresh vegetables. It is possible to ski back to house when you are skilled skier. In the mornig they offer free transfer to skilift but It is not far to walk there also.

One of the best places to stay in Gudauri. Friendly and very helpful staff makes you feel like at home, meal is tasty and cakes are Tammy. Mats are very comfortable, rooms are wide and clean bathrooms aswell. Highly recommended place for sure.
