Where to stay in Akhaltsikhe

It was a nice experience. The hotel room was comfortable. I had a nice time swimming in the pool as well. The food was delicious too.

I haven't written a review for some time but feel it is necessary after tonight's dining experience at this hotel. Given that there are almost no other alternatives for dinner here in Akhaltsikhe we dined in house . Our dinner order was Georgian salad with walnuts - ok but not the best we have had in the past 16 days, Georgian style potato ok basically thick cut potatoes fried in oil. BUT the huge...

It's certainly not a 5-star hotel. The room is very small. It's very cold. There was a very strong, constant unpleasant smell. The spa is a separate, large bonus. That's true. But for such a small town, the hotel is unjustifiably expensive. No view of the fortress.

The room was very small, and it was difficult to turn around. When I woke up the next morning, I found that the bed sheets were stained, like shoe prints, which was disgusting. The room smelled very bad and was uncomfortable to live in. I don't recommend it.

The hotel offers a very unique experience within a castle setting. The rooms are like those in a guesthouse in China, but clean and hygienic. The hotel's spa is also fantastic! 👍

The room was excellent. There's also a gym, and the breakfast was plentiful. Staying inside the castle is great value for money. The room wasn't particularly large, but the facilities were complete. Highly recommended.

It's located within a castle, in a prime location. Otherwise, it's just average. It's worth the price.

My family and I visited in August and stayed for one night included with breakfast. The rooms were relatively clean and spacious. The breakfast was nice and there was an option to order coffee at the bar

Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast is nothing special, but completely normal. Staff is very friendly. Hotel also has meeting rooms. Location is OK, walking distance from main sight Rabati fortress.

Upscale atmosphere, good music to dine by with friends. The wine list has a great Saperavi. The menu is routinely updated with attention not only to traditional Georgian cuisine, but European and American favorites. The pizza is served up veggies only and is yummy. Salad is Greek or Georgian. And the chef makes wonderful fries Mexican or American. I wound return.

Very friendly host and very cozy ambiance. The location is the center of the city. Because of these reasons, I recommend this hotel. During summer, a lot of tourist enjoy this hotel. Then you may not be able to express your preference regarding room. But I recommend a room with balcony.

This comfortable hotel located very quiet place which is close to center. Hotel has inside yard which is green with trees and flowers. You can seat public terrace also there are some rooms which have privet balcony. Kitchen is very modern where you can cooking or drink coffee or tea. Host is very friendly and helpful. Beautiful Hotel with a view on the Castle which is just a 5 minute walk. The hotel is runned by the nicest people ever. Nice big classic room with a good shower and working airco. A lovely guesthouse. I will certainly recommend this place . It’s a very budget friendly place. Location is right at the bottom of Rabari castle. The feel of the guesthouse is very cozy. They also arrange for trips to Vardzia for 70GEL. You can get breakfast for 10GEL. It is a family run establishment. They are very sweet and helpful.

Really nice family hosting us. Huge breakfast, which we couldn’t finish. The father of the family is a taxi driver. We spent one day exploring the local sights with him. Worked well even without any English skills.

Very friendly family and a nice double room. We also enjoyed sitting on the balcony in the evenings with homemade wine. Breakfast was also great. The children of the family spoke English very well, so communication was always easy.

Really nice family which is offering rooms. They have two attic rooms each for two people. Be sure to order breakfast (5GEL/person). You will enjoy awesome food. Georgian, Russian and some English included :)

Nicest place of two lovely owners, who were very attentive and friendly. We didn't expect they would include the breakfast, that was a healthy breakfast I must say. I will never forget them. Next time I will definitely stay there, as we felt super secure and comfy there.

We stayed here three days and enjoyed ourselves fully. Great food and pleasant company with the owners. Great spot in town just under Rabati Castle.

Like dining with the family: exceptionally tasty food, homemade and fresh. Ask the waitress's boyfriend for his Kachetian wine, he brings it from home until it's empty. Just great!

Probably one other best café in Rabati area. All food is delicious but the best one is "Ostri". The owner of café has her own secret recipe. I tried "Ostri" in many places but her one is the most delicious.

We visited the restaurant and were met with a very friendly service, which offered us some drinks on the house and the atmosphere was rather authentic and homy. Food was excellent as well and for a good price!

We stayed here for a program. The rooms are clean. The TV was broken (not that we wanted to watch anything) the food was delicious. The manager lady near the rooms is really friendly. There's a big ballroom for at least 250 guests. Some rooms have balconies and bigger bathrooms.

This Hotel and Restaurant are conveniently located off the main road with plenty of parking. Rooms are clean and good sized. A great place to host a special occasion, perfect for that very large wedding! The Khinkali are made fresh and are worth the mouth watering wait. My favorite for sure. And don't forget the local wed wine.

Definitely one of the best stops in Georgia I've ever had and this time I travelled with my family. The owners were first class, as was the neighbor. It is worth taking rooms with breakfast - if you have an intensive sightseeing plan, you will not be hungry until the evening. They say that a Georgian breakfast is like a Polish dinner - it's true. I have visited Rabath hotel twice. Room are clean. Near to city center and shops. It is not noisy. Our host family is very hospital and very nice people.

Clean, very nice owners who even invited us for dinner. Perfect location right on the Rabati Festing which is also recommended (1 minute walk). It is advisable to book one night and negotiate others directly with the owners!

It´s the hospitality which made this hotel one of our favorites on our journey through Georgia and Armenia. Even the place for diner which the daughter recommended us was a great place and not expensive. Rooms are very clean with fridge and all you need on a stay.
