The hotel offers a very unique experience within a castle setting. The rooms are like those in a guesthouse in China, but clean and hygienic. The hotel's spa is also fantastic! 👍

The hotel is housed in a beautiful old 9th-century castle, making it quite unique. Both the exterior and interior feature a unique combination of architectural details found only in Georgia. If you have a beautiful hotel, at least make sure you receive a warm and welcoming reception. The man who greeted us, sitting disinterestedly behind a reception desk, only uttered one word: "passports." Not "good afternoon" and/or "welcome to our hotel," but "passports," and he did so in the manner spoken by a GDR border official in 1982. There were no instructions regarding the breakfast room or breakfast times, and the keys were left on the desk. This was later more or less rectified by a colleague of the receptionist; we walked back to retrieve this information, which was done properly. The rooms are beautiful and tastefully decorated, and returning to the breakfast: it was excellent and beyond reproach.

The room was excellent. There's also a gym, and the breakfast was plentiful. Staying inside the castle is great value for money. The room wasn't particularly large, but the facilities were complete. Highly recommended.

Staying at this hotel inside a historic fortress ( recently reconstraucted) was a truly memorable experience. The setting is absolutely unique — surrounded by ancient walls, with stunning views of the old city of Akhaltsikhe (Rabati) . At night, the atmosphere is incredibly calm and serene, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. During the day, the fortress attracts many tourists, so it can get a bit busy outside, but the charm of the scenery and the energy of the place more than make up for it. The room was clean and comfortable, though it’s worth noting that there is no lift, so be prepared for stairs. Breakfast was delicious with a good variety . Dinner at the hotel restaurant was also delectable and very reasonably priced. The service was okay — not particularly outstanding, but everything we needed was handled efficiently.

Quirky hotel built inside a restored castle. The castle is open to the public during the day and is linked to the town museum, but at night it takes on a different atmosphere. There is an onsite restaurant belong to the hotel (Good) and another in the courtyard which is not (Poor) Close to town so not a problem. Did not use the spa facilities, but reports are good. Rooms are basic but clean, something that cannot be said for a lot of Georgian hotels, most look out onto the inner courtyard with a non-working fountain.

It's located within a castle, in a prime location. Otherwise, it's just average. It's worth the price.

It offers a nice experience since it is located inside a fortress in a wonderful setting. Really splendorous. The rooms are huge and very quiet. The breakfast is good and the staff courteous. Major drawback is the absence of lifts in the building, so be prepared to carry your luggage up and down stairs. Another nuisance is that the water from the shower seeps into the bathroom floor.

Best thing is the location - right on the territory of the ancient fortress. Which is also its disadvantage- from the car parking one needs to walk few steps up and a hundred meters to the hotel entrance, also there is no elevator in the building. Hotel is quite well kept and clean, including SPA area. Couple of SPA facilities were inactive during our visit, but it didn’t affect our relaxation. Perhaps because of the joint door between our room and the next one, there wasn’t sufficient sound insulation and we heard many sounds from the next room. If this is the quality overall thought the hotel rooms, then it should be improved. For breakfast there was a good selection of snacks, including truly delicious traditional hachapuri and tasty coffee. Recommended for stay.

Located in a recently restored castle, the impact is notable even if not particularly comfortable (there was also a community party with singing and dancing and so we had to drag our suitcases around the square) large and bright rooms, good breakfast, decent dinner
