Where to stay in Samtskhe-Javakheti

Great hotel conveniently situated on the side of the road. Good secure parking for motorcycles, good food in the restaurant and helpful staff. What more can a weary traveller ask for?

My family and I planned the stay this hotel but unexpectedly sadly we lost our grandma while we are on our trip and we couldn't stay. The owner and staff was so nice and understand our situation. I am truly grateful for them. I would like to thank them here again ❤️🙏

The room was very big, and the host was very nice, but doesn't speak any english, so brush up on Georgian or Russian! Unfortunately the shower has no curtain, so showering puts the whole bathroom unterwater. Also, the shower drain had a smell coming from it which was unpleasant. Breakfast was simple and ample. Some reading lights by the bed would be nice, so the main light doesn't have to stay on all...

Nice place but not without issues. Beds are nice but there is no storage whatsoever. Nice kitchen. Tha outside area is still at working progress. Place is brand new, so i believe most issues will be fixed in the future.

Excellent place. Comfortable rooms, very good breakfast, nice views of the city. Doesn’t have its own parking, and they close the door at 00:00 and can’t leave or enter until next morning. They don’t have elevator and your room can be in the 4th floor

Wonderful panoramic view, chic breakfast - especially cookies from curd, bakery with potatoes, even olives, wonderful homemade jam to standard european choices. Maximum 20 min. on foot to the park. Polite hosts. Very clean rooms. From the second floor there is a beautiful view of the mountains. 5 min walk to the center, where you can find everything: supermarkets, pharmacies, bank branches and other amenities. I advise!

Neat hostel, for the price you pay not bad, has a kettle and dishes, and heater (no air conditioning). Very close to restaurants, a super market and the bus station is down the street.

Its a good place but not a fancy one, the lady over there was super nice, however, the bathrooms were not good at all.

There is a warm family atmosphere. There is also a Turkish restaurant. Turkish kebabs have everything, good service and delicious food, a quality place. I definitely recommend it.

Fantastic hotel right next to vardzia, there is a beautiful view of the cave monastery from the hotel. The rooms were comfortable and the breakfast was delicious! The woman working here was so sweet and very welcoming, we hope to come back again!

We visited the Vardzia Cave Monastery and stayed here in Taoskari Hotel which was near the site only. Don’t worry about parking because they have a big space. I arrived at Taoskari on my bicycle while touring Georgia, my stay was really comfortable the view of Vardzia is amazing and the hotel is so cool inside. Sitting on the balcony having breakfast was a highlight. The owner was so helpful in everything I needed, I spent 2 nights and left refreshed and super happy to continue my journey 🚴😋

Highly recommend if you need a place to stay. Fortress is only a minutes or two walk to the stairs for entry (or further up the hill) and Vardiza is under an hour and a half away. A lovely guesthouse. I will certainly recommend this place . It’s a very budget friendly place. Location is right at the bottom of Rabari castle. The feel of the guesthouse is very cozy. If you're traveling by car, we recommend choosing the 3rd floor. Your car will be parked outside your window. The hotel manager doesn't speak Russian (but speaks excellent Italian), but that's not a big deal, because they'll do everything...

A luxurious hotel with clean rooms. In addition to regular water, they provide Borjomi mineral water upon check-in. A room with a mountain view is a true work of art! Please note that the staff does not speak Russian, so English is required.

I was there off season. The hotel is not bad but not perfect either. Rooms have some problems like some sockets doesn't work, the drain wasn't working properly, curtains r dirty. But its ok if u r not going to spend much time in ur room.

Nice hotel. Located in the top of a hill. The beds are comfy and the sheets, blankets, and towels are very clean. The restaurant space is spacious and good. There is a kettle with cups, water bottles and tea,coffee,and sugar. The breakfast buffet was good. I like the cale and pancake made there. However, the building is a little bit old and needs to renew some parts. No facial tissues and rubbish baskets...

Place is normal, no special specs here, but it's a pretty good place for going with small children.

It's cheap and nice, but it doesn't have air conditioning. I bought it because I arrived after dinner and didn't have time to look around. It was very crowded at the time, and everywhere I went, it was full.

We stayed here for a program. The rooms are clean. The TV was broken (not that we wanted to watch anything) the food was delicious. The manager lady near the rooms is really friendly. There's a big ballroom for at least 250 guests. Some rooms have balconies and bigger bathrooms.

This Hotel and Restaurant are conveniently located off the main road with plenty of parking. Rooms are clean and good sized. A great place to host a special occasion, perfect for that very large wedding! The Khinkali are made fresh and are worth the mouth watering wait. My favorite for sure. And don't forget the local wed wine.
