We enjoyed our beautiful 3-night stay at Hotel Zum Bär in early Dez while enjoying the Quedlinburg Weihnachtsmarkt. Nothing but positives to share...very clean and comfortable room, wide selection of breakfast delicacies, and very attentive and friendly staff...from the front desk, to housekeeping to dining/kitchen staff. It is advised to make a reservation as the place was busy. I alread made one in the afternoon when we passed by. Service is decent. Prices are good. But the schnitzels were ordered were huge. Probably 2 persons can eat with one order. they had nice veggies and potatoes. Good beers as well.

Most centrally located place you can choose in Quedlinburg, yet quiet at night. Great service and attention to details (received a lot of chocolate for Easter), excellent breakfast buffet with freshly made Cappuccino and dog and kids friendly. Free parking just 100 m from the hotel at Pölle 4 (entering into the courtyard via a small gate).

Nice gaststätte in the center of beautiful Quedlinburg. Sat by the window with a good view of the market place. Had some great tasting soups (gulasch and soljanka). Fair price. Not many vegetarian options but the baked camembert with salad was fine.

Great hotel on Quedlinburg's Marktplatz -- parking on site behind the hotel, and the room was clean and quiet. I was leaving before breakfast was served, so they thoughtfully made me a wonderful to-go bag.

The hotel is located right at the one end of the market square. The room was cozy and comfortable. The room window opened up with a view of the market square but surprisingly it was not noisy even on Sunday in mid July. The breakfast was very good. I had a chance to try several kinds of cheeses and cold cuts that were local to the Harz region.

Rooms are ok, clean and my room had the biggest spider and spiderwebi have yet seen in a hotelroom. -I left him alone for the next guest. Breakfast was ok. Nothing fancy.

Service was great and the breakfast was delicious. Recommend for a budget friendly stay!

Not much to complain about when it comes to the hotel itself. Price seems fair. Location is okay and easy to find. Hotel staff working there show decent motivation, are friendly and keep the hotel clean and tidy. Its great to see the staff shows empathy for problems, if any occur. Very commendable is the fact that the staff actually tries to communicate in English with foreign customers. It honestly...

Nice hotel on the outskirts of the city core Nice hotel for a overnight visit. The nice picture is very misleading though since that is one of the town's sight seeing places... But overall very satisfied with the stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Theophano. Our room was spacious, clean, and quiet. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel staff was friendly, efficient, and helpful. The breakfast buffet had plenty of choices. If we return to Quedlinburg, we will definitely stay here again!

We booked this hotel a year in advance as we know during Christmas market time is very busy and we requested a room with view of market on the 2nd floor. Where we had stayed once before and had fantastic views from every window in our room. When we finally arrived after searching for their parking ( very difficult to find) we checked in & were told our room was not on the 2nd floor as requested but...

Brilliant location, genially restored building, the rooms are large with all modern comforts but keep a romantic old flair. The personnel is kind and attentive. Breakfast wasn’t bad but kept being smaller or larger according to...no one knows what!

A very pleasant hotel with cozy and friendly atmosphere. It’s located at the centre of the town. We loved this historic building (over 300 years old) and yet the room is well equipped and the interior is newly refurbished. Very nice breakfast.

We had a wonderful stay in Hotel Theophano. The location is perfect, right in the town square. Rooms were large, quiet, and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. We would highly recommend this hotel.

A magnificent hotel in a historic building with a superb location on the city square, offering the best possible hospitality to its guests. The breakfast, cleanliness, and attentive staff were all wonderful from start to finish. I'd like to thank the entire team, especially Mr. Erol. Quedlinburg is an indescribably special and beautiful place. Go, stay at this hotel and enjoy.

Only stayed for one night but the hotel is right in the centre with its own car park at the rear which is 6 euros a day, bargain. Rooms are well equipped and comftorble enough. We really enjoyed our stay and wpuld go back.

The hotel itself is in a building old as satan himself. However, the location is great to walk to the main square and it is surrounded by restaurants. Plus, it has a parking on it's own for 6 Euro per day. Very comfortable in this part of town where is so difficult to park.

Beautiful hotel in the old town . Recommended.

We had a spacious apartment for our family and ate dinner in the relaxing Biergarten of the restaurant. Great, central location in the city with easy access to cafés and little shops. Parking behind the hotel was great for unloading and loading our luggage.

Stayed here 2 days, breakfast was average and good, easy to access parking lot and the center of the city, if we return to Quedlinburg, we will return here, it is old fashioned, but we enjoyed it, nice hard beds, no luxury, but it works fine, compared to the price.

I walked from the Station, which took about 20 minutes. Some of the pavements were rough and poorly-lit but I managed to stay upright. The kind proprietor had sent me a video explaining how to get in (at 7:30). It took a fair bit of fooling around in the dark to gain entry. Services and breakfast were a bit below expectation.

Well located at the edge of the Qedlinburg centre. Parking on the premises. We had a room on the top floor which was clean and spacious. Very friendly welcome. Small, but cosy breakfast room and nice buffet selection.
