I had a very nice, spacious room with an elegant shower/toilet and a practical mini kitchen including a fridge, sink, kettle, crockery/pots/glasses/cutlery. Special arrival and departure requests were fulfilled.

The room is comfortably furnished and spacious. The ambience of the hotel, for example in the breakfast room, is rustic and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and happy to cater to special requests. The place itself is very quiet and you can easily reach all attractions even with public transport. This was our second time here and we will always be happy to come back!

A very nice, clean and quiet apartment. You get a friendly welcome and the maid does a good job. I was there on business and didn't use the breakfast because I always had to leave quite early. But I've only heard good things about it. I would love to come back if I have business in the area.

Our stay here was more than wonderful, everything was just done in a perfect way! Especially the location, the park and the furniture of the whole castle are super beautiful and an absolute reason to come here again! Additionally to this, the service team is amazing, as we forgot something in the room and it was send to us without additional effort for us, which is surely nothing every hotel does!

My husband and I spent two nights here on our honeymoon. We really enjoyed this hidden gem! Breakfast on the castle terrace each morning was amazing. Nice hotel with a really good restaurant. Service is professional, but - for a Romantikhotel - a bit impersonal. Location close to city, but not really romantic. Room is cozy, but without the extra Pfiff, we have experienced at other romantikhotels.

The old city did not live up to expectations

The hotel was centrally located and had easy walk distance to the nearby castle and marketplace. The room was comfortable and the included breakfast had a wide variety. Several staff members could understand and speak English which helped a lot. I would definitely stay here again!

It's a sort of antique hotel. However, it's worn down and lacks the magical atmosphere it should have. The rooms are small and inadequate (for the price paid). Breakfast options are limited. The waiters are helpful. Being right next to the old city is an advantage. And nice garden .

Decent accomodation. We stayed for just a night over a weekend trip and had a pleasant stay. Breakfast buffet is well stocked and tasty. Centrally located.

I walked from the Station, which took about 20 minutes. Some of the pavements were rough and poorly-lit but I managed to stay upright. Well located at the edge of the Qedlinburg centre. Parking on the premises. We had a room on the top floor which was clean and spacious. Very friendly welcome. Small, but cosy breakfast room and nice buffet selection.

We stayed one night at the Hotel Harzresidenz in December 2025. The room was clean, but unfortunately, there was some mold in the shower. The sauna was closed, which surprised us, as there were very few guests at the hotel overall, and it wouldn't have been profitable for the hotel to have it open. Breakfast was very good. The hotel is idyllically situated in the middle of the forest, and the conservatory, where breakfast is served, offers a lovely view. The sauna is also very nice. Unfortunately, everything seems a bit neglected, and the owners appear to be newcomers to the industry. They are very friendly and accommodating but need to pay more attention to the details.

We had booked the apartment/holiday apartment with two bedrooms. We didn't realize that this wasn't directly in the hotel, but 1km further away in Haus Tannengrün. When we arrived, the bed in the second bedroom was unmade. But it was done quickly after calling. A wonderful hotel.. Not only do the rooms and the atmosphere score points, the surroundings are fantastically beautiful.. I can definitely recommend.... What a great hotel! The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great and the rooms are huge with a very nice big bathroom also. The hotel is literally just under 100m away from the train station, about 300m away from a nice supermarket and just under 500m away from the old town. It is a great location! Perfect for a one night stop when travelling by rail. We were able to leave our bags at reception in the morning as we arrived early which was great. The room was fine with a bathroom bigger than the bedroom ! Plenty of choice at breakfast. Helpful staff when we checked in and out.

It is advised to make a reservation as the place was busy. I alread made one in the afternoon when we passed by. Service is decent. Prices are good. But the schnitzels were ordered were huge. Probably 2 persons can eat with one order. they had nice veggies and potatoes. Good beers as well.

Most centrally located place you can choose in Quedlinburg, yet quiet at night. Great service and attention to details (received a lot of chocolate for Easter), excellent breakfast buffet with freshly made Cappuccino and dog and kids friendly. Nice gaststätte in the center of beautiful Quedlinburg. Sat by the window with a good view of the market place. Had some great tasting soups (gulasch and soljanka). Fair price. Not many vegetarian options but the baked camembert with salad was fine.

Great hotel on Quedlinburg's Marktplatz -- parking on site behind the hotel, and the room was clean and quiet. I was leaving before breakfast was served, so they thoughtfully made me a wonderful to-go bag.

The hotel is located right at the one end of the market square. The room was cozy and comfortable. The room window opened up with a view of the market square but surprisingly it was not noisy even on Sunday in mid July. The breakfast was very good. I had a chance to try several kinds of cheeses and cold cuts that were local to the Harz region.

Stay here for work quite often. Have always had a pleasant stay. The Hotel isn't always busy so breakfast might sometimes be limited.

We booked this hotel a year in advance as we know during Christmas market time is very busy and we requested a room with view of market on the 2nd floor. Where we had stayed once before and had fantastic views from every window in our room. Very friendly welcome; we were able to check into our rented apartments earlier. Everything is well laid out, and quite new, I'd say. We found the refrigerator a bit small for the number of people. Ordering bread rolls worked perfectly; Thale is always worth a visit. The thermal baths are lovely, small but great for a few hours of relaxation. Great for kids, not so much for adults. The rooms are very large, there's a bathroom, and plenty of outdoor play areas and activities for children. But there's nothing for adults. A magnificent hotel in a historic building with a superb location on the city square, offering the best possible hospitality to its guests. Only stayed for one night but the hotel is right in the centre with its own car park at the rear which is 6 euros a day, bargain. Rooms are well equipped and comftorble enough. We really enjoyed our stay and wpuld go back.

The hotel itself is in a building old as satan himself. However, the location is great to walk to the main square and it is surrounded by restaurants. Plus, it has a parking on it's own for 6 Euro per day. Very comfortable in this part of town where is so difficult to park.

We had a spacious apartment for our family and ate dinner in the relaxing Biergarten of the restaurant. Great, central location in the city with easy access to cafés and little shops. Parking behind the hotel was great for unloading and loading our luggage.

Stayed here 2 days, breakfast was average and good, easy to access parking lot and the center of the city, if we return to Quedlinburg, we will return here, it is old fashioned, but we enjoyed it, nice hard beds, no luxury, but it works fine, compared to the price.
