Great hotel. Lively. Clean. Nice staff. Few speak French, but they try. In any case, they all speak English.

We have been visiting the Europa-Park Resort Hotels regularly for over 15 years, once or twice every year, and as a family we have stayed in almost all of the suites. And yet, every single visit still feels special.
Our son absolutely loves it every time. For children, this resort is pure magic, and for adults just as much. It is a spectacular experience for both young and old, created with an attention to detail that is truly rare.
Honestly: better than Disneyland – there is no comparison.
Everything is simply outstanding:
Top-level quality throughout the entire resort.
Exceptionally well-trained staff – friendly, attentive, and highly professional
Food of the highest standard, consistently excellent
Impeccable cleanliness everywhere
Spa, hotels, and park – each amazing on its own, unbeatable together
What we love most is that this place creates memories that last.
It is not just a hotel or a theme park – it is a place you always want to return to, almost forever.
A sincere thank you to the management and the entire team for maintaining this extraordinary level of excellence over so many years. That is not something to be taken for granted – it is true passion.

We recently stayed at Hotel Colosseo at Europa-Park and chose to celebrate our 6-year-old son’s birthday at the hotel restaurant. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing, especially considering the setting.
The most disheartening moment was when our son’s birthday cake was brought out. It was served without a candle or sparkle and simply placed in front of him by the manager, with no acknowledgment of the occasion. When we asked about singing “Happy Birthday,” there was noticeable hesitation, despite the staff clearly speaking English.
Even more disappointing, the cake itself did not taste fresh and seemed old. Given that it was arranged in advance for a special occasion, we expected significantly better quality.
For a 6-year-old celebrating at a destination like Europa-Park, presenting a full cake without even a single candle, and serving a cake that did not feel fresh, felt thoughtless and lacking basic hospitality awareness. It was a missed opportunity to create a simple but meaningful magical moment.

Is it normal to not have make up room service with a 4 night stay?
And on check out day, at 11am. Got a knock, which I replied hold on! But housekeeping opened the door anyway (I was in the toilet!) . Isn’t check out 12pm internationally? A hurry to kick me out but never once to make up room, even with door hanger out and a reminder to the reception.
Could do better with service quality.

Staying “on property” when visiting Europa-Patk is a must and Hotel Colosseo is an excellent choice. Such a quick walk to the park and lots of other restaurants within the resort and a beautifully designed and appointed hotel with all the amenities you would expect. Great service and perfectly clean throughout the property and a good choice of restaurants and bars. Can’t wait to come back and stay here again!

The room was very cold, the beds were uncomfortable, overall I would say never again for that price. The reception staff was unprofessional, it took more than 30 minutes before we finally got the room which we had booked online in advance. Breakfast was good. Otherwise, for dinner you can go to any other restaurant from the resort. We have been here for the third time, we have always slept in the hotel El Andalus. And definitely much better in every way - rooms, reception, breakfast, environment. Unfortunately it was already fully booked and the only available rooms in hotel Colosseo.

The hotel biggest selling point was obviously its proximity to the park and there was some charm in its decor and design But, and it's a pretty big but, our room as are most had a window overlooking the piazza and it's soooo laud especially at night, it's absolutely impossible to keep the window open to sleep, and even with the window closed and with earplugs I had real problems falling asleep.
The fact that the beds are absolutely atrocious and the pillows a disaster really didn't help.

Visited Europa-Park resort for four days where we stayed in Hotel El Colloseo. Spend the first day at waterpark Rulantica followed by 3 days at the theme park. Had an absolute BLAST, every employee we met was helpful, and kind. There are plenty of attractions, shows, shops, and restaurants to choose from so there is something for everyone. There is so much to do at the resort that you can easily spend multiple days without feeling bored. A cherry on the cake is drinking the Europa-Park special at one of the many cocktail bars.
