Second time we stayed at this Hotel. Close to entrance Europa Park through the Hotel Bell Rock. Lidl and Edeka and a Bakery close by! Apartment big enough to sleep 7 people, with Kitchen and a small terrace. Only one bathroom though! And the shower sets everything under water in the bathroom. On a business trip to Germany, I am recommended the Hotel Adler where I arrive late at night. Gengenbach is a lovely small town only eight minutes on the train from Offenburg. Reichsstadt Hotel and Restaurant is in the middle of town and only a short walk from the station. We were a huge family (23 people) from all around the world meeting for our annual vacation. Went here with my group a while ago. Top accommodation for good money. As soon as we have a construction site in the area again, we'll be back. You can also shop late in the evening in the farm's own shop...sausage, bread, schnapps and much more from the farm.

Very beautiful place to be. Great value for the money. The homemade breakfast it's really good. The owners are very nice persons, tho only the daughter understand good English. It was conveniently located in the center of Freiburg, and the hotel was clean. However, they charge a city tax separately, and I don't think that's the hotel's problem.

We had a wonderful stay here! Excellent location that is easy to access by foot and by car. The rooms were clean and modern, and the area felt very safe. This was a great hotel to use for my blackforest motorcycle tour. Room was clean, comfortable and shower great pressure. Breakfast was good and plentiful and the manager was an excellent host. Tram is about 18 min walk which gets you in the the center of Freiburg

They need to improve immediately We stay 4 nights, 3 times in a row the towels were not changed without our request, twice the bed linen was not changed, once the room was not cleaned at all. Besides, it's not a good idea to put two twin beds together and to call it double bed.

There is no air conditioning, it's so hot. The breakfast is OK. There are many elderly people who are doing rehabilitation next to us.

Nice property in a quiet location. The crowd was definitely much older than I expected (all grey hair with a lot of canes or walking sticks). I believe that there is a physical therapist located nearby. It did matter. My only complaint was that the room didn’t have AC and it was warm that evening. They provided a fan and it was enough for the heat.
