Aktiv Hotel Winterberg

Winterberg, Schneilstrasse 4, Ortsmitte, 59955 Winterberg, Germany 🧭

About a 20 min walk to the center of Winterberg. Skiing and Sleding areas nearby as well. Nice area to hike as well.

We stayed 2 nights here i enjoyed lot wonderfull view amazing service i just loved i really want come again and again 🥰

Really beautiful hotel, and a lovely location. The breakfast and dinner buffets were delicious and wide selection of choices. Well presented and kept well stocked. Rooms were comfortable and clean, lovely fluffy robes! Really enjoyed the saunas as well, just what was needed after an active day! Location is fabulous for mountain biking, close to several decent downhill parks. Staff at the hotel were...

Great hotel, good service, nice Pool and nice food.

Beautiful location, near ski slopes and lift, but in quiet surrounding outside Winterberg. Very friendly owners, rooms are very clean with good beds, great buffets for breakfast and for dinner. Swimmingpool and sauna, nice bar with a fire. We had a great time.

We had a lovely stay here. Room was quite small but adequate. Evening meal & breakfast were buffet style. Good selection. Nice sauna

Der schöne Asten - Resort Winterberg

Winterberg, Renauweg 54 🧭

Nice and quiet location. Sauna and Swimming pool are cool. Tasty breakfast and dinner.

I honestly don't understand all the hate in some comments about this hotel. I stayed there for 2 nights with a 5 years old kid and we enjoyed our stay. No need to say we were not sitting in the hotel for the whole time - rather, we were exploring mountains and attractions nearby. Breakfast is good for the hotel class and the price (it is not Nice Promenade hotel!), there is a kids' club room, a great...

Really nice facilities - swimming pool, saunas, small kids play area. Very quaint and unassuming. We booked the all-inclusive light option and it was great to have breakfast, lunch and dinner sorted - breakfast was the same everyday and no extra order option but still quite good. Dinner buffet was different every night and beer, wine and soft drinks were included. The surrounding views on site were...

The room is very beautiful, very cozy. The food here is amazing as well, I ordered Tomato and mozzarella, and fries and they were done very quick, that was impressive, it was really tasty as well! The Location is very quiet and calm, perfect for relaxing holidays. I think the hotel itself is very lovely.

The guy on the reception desk when we arrived, was excellent, a very friendly and welcoming face ***** He gave us a complete run down of the resort and made us very welcome.

Staff is friendly, especially at the bar. The rooms are adequate for what you pay. At one point there was a malfunction with our shower water, and staff was very nice about immediately helping us change rooms. The work out room is unfortunately equipped pretty bare-bones, and the spa area has been called somewhat outdated.

Hotel Nuhnetal

Winterberg, Nuhnestraße 12 🧭

Godt sted Dejlig og smuk hotel, god service m.v.

Very good option in the city center My experience at Nuhnental was very good. The staff is very attentive. Rooms are cozy and the fact there’s sauna and a swimming pool is a real bonus. All the facilities appeared to be recently renovated. Location is unbeatable.

Very nice hotel, cozy and located in a nice position. Hightly reccomended.

Very limited parking and in noisy area

Thank you for some wonderful days at your hotel. The friendly and cozy vibe made our stay a nice and relaxing experience. The Staff was at all time to our servic. The hotel was clean and the wellness area with the pool and saunas was also great. The food was good, and the winery had a fine selection of wine from different areas.

The rooms are nice and clean but the mattresses were far too soft. We didn't sleep well at all. Friendly lady at the breakfast buffet. The lady of the house is quite brisk and not very helpful. The small pool was cold, not 29 degrees as advertised (20 max). Unfortunately on both days the bar closed at 8pm so we couldn't grab a drink after dinner. We tried to book dinner for the second day but it wasn...

Hotel Landgasthof Gilsbach

Winterberg, Bundesstraße 25 🧭

I chose the country inn because it's close to the Girkhausen cross-country skiing center and the Neuastenberg and Winterberg downhill ski resorts. I booked online and arrived on their day off. I then received a quick WhatsApp message with instructions for the key box. Everything was very simple and convenient. The keys and further instructions were in the key box. We were able to get an espresso from...

Amazing experience! Loved the cozy vibes, hosts are extremely nice and helpful! Absolutely would love to visit again!

I've eaten at the Landgastof restaurant several times and have been extremely satisfied every time! The food is delicious and locally sourced, the portions are generous, and the owners are incredibly kind. The building is beautiful and easy to reach, even in snowy weather. The interior is meticulously designed, and the atmosphere is warm. The menu often even mentions the nearby farm where the meat...

We had a fine walking holiday staying here. The staff. Hotel and food were all fine. Absolutely no complaints, and would definitely stay here again

Great dinner with nice service. Regional and seasonal dishes freshly prepared. Price performance is absolutely right. You should make a reservation. (Roast lamb ~ 20 €)

Together with our dog a guest at Gilsbach. Great rooms. Park your car next to the building. Breakfast was fine but not or hardly replenished. If you are a little later that is not useful. Evening meal is delicious but it all takes a bit long. We didn't have that many problems with that ourselves, but we did notice during our two-night stay. Staff is also friendly and helpful.

Hotel Forsthaus

Winterberg, Orkestrasse 14 🧭

Nice place. Friendly Staff. Good rooms and facilities

The hotel is very nice and has a good restaurant. After initially moving into a not-so-nice room (which, according to the nice owner, is now being changed), upon request we were offered another, really great room at no extra cost. Great stay - great thing!

Warm and friendly welcome and also very friendly staff. .The breakfast buffet is well extensive. Very tasty food working with fresh products and spices. That experiment, I recommend it to everyone to take half board, is great.👌👌And our dog was very welcome.

We had a nice stay. The real Sauerland breakfast was rich and delicious. The family-run hotel is very clean. Well-kept and spacious rooms. The city center and a hiking trail can be reached in just a few minutes.

We were there from Thu-Sun with 5 people and 5 dogs. Nice hotel with very friendly staff. Free parking spaces at the house. We stayed in the building next door. Cozy, beautifully furnished rooms. The dogs were allowed to come to breakfast. The breakfast was rich, fresh and delicious. The hotel is centrally located, yet quiet on a side street. Highly recommended

We were there in mid-December and we really enjoyed it. As soon as we arrived in front of the house, we were totally amazed by the whole ambience, how lovingly it was decorated, how beautiful everything was, really a dream. The family that runs the house, the employees, everyone is so nice, friendly and helpful that you just don't want to leave. I then booked an upgrade to the suite as a little surprise...

Hotel Niedersfeld-Winterberg

Winterberg, Ruhrstraße 50 🧭

I only went to the restaurant but the food was phenomenal. Best food I've had in quite a while. Lovely service too.

Authentic bierstube, food is tasteful and large portions. Service was very friendly. Nice selection of beers on tap and prices are very reasonable. We had a schnitzel topped with berries and cheese and a vegetarian dish, fried avocado with vegetables. The quinoa bowl. As a starter we had a salad and a mixed bruschetta.

Great amenities for a 3-star hotel including pool and sauna, comfortable beds, very nice breakfast, had a great dinner in their restaurant, cosy bar, traditional rustic interiors, friendly staff, good place for summer or winter vacation, nice area to site-seeing. Just spent the Easter holiday there with friends and kids a neither of us wanted to go home.

Nice old fashion hotel. Service very friendly. Food at the restaurant was good! Definitely come back

very friendly staff. clean and tidy. staff went out of their way to make our stay a success

The service was amazing, we went on Xmas and the staffs had arranged a special breakfast menu with a pretty looking decoration of the dining room. Ambiance of hotel itself felt a bit old but the rooms were alright. We paid 9 euros for Sauna which was great and during our stay we also made use of the pool. Be aware that there are very few car charging stations in the area and the closest super charger...

Central-Hotel

Winterberg, Am Waltenberg 29 🧭

Excellent staff, rooms were roomy and bright, a bit worn, not too bad. Some noise from street and building construction, also not too bad. Great breakfast..staff was outstanding.

Centrally located, 10 minutes walk to the ski resort, there is another MONKEYLAND also 15 minutes walk. The on-site restaurants and bars have a variety of styles and tastes good. There is parking on site.

You can read my tips and opinions in the reviews. Definitely recommended, the Sauerland and the hotel are worth a trip, especially on a motorbike.

comfort room, friendly staffs, great breakfast

Room was big and clean enough. Breakfast was basic but fine. The bar and restaurant were good.

After having visited and stayed at several accommodations in and around Winterberg, the Central-Hotel stands out; thanks to their food, service and the 10/10 location.

Landgasthof Wüllner

Winterberg, Bödefelder Str. 32, Winterberg, Landkreis Mühldorf Am Inn, Germany 🧭

Goed ontbijt. Buffet avond wat minder, gewoon simpel. Kamer helemaal prima.

Simply great, cozy, great service and very nice owners. A great family-run business where you can enjoy great food and drinks

Very friendly staff and good deals. Also suitable for a weekend.

The hotel is very rural and is very attractive for walkers. Excellent care, somewhat dated decor, but friendly staff.

In the meantime we have been to the Landgasthof Wüllner for the third time. As always, everything was to our greatest satisfaction! Particularly to be highlighted was the food (buffet) in the evening. Everything freshly prepared and with that special something! Here again a big compliment to the kitchen and to the always friendly and attentive service. We would of course like to come back next year

Das Kleine Altstadthotel

Winterberg, Hauptstrasse 34 🧭

A superb hotel with a personal atmosphere. A very friendly hostess. The breakfast was excellent and delicious. The room was very clean and beautifully decorated. We would definitely stay again.

Small, fine, lovingly run hotel. The owner designed everything with a lot of heart. The breakfast is super great, very nicely prepared and a large selection of sausage and all kinds of delicious, eggs and scrambled eggs always with you, thanks for these great days, we'd love to come back

Very nice little hotel in a good location. We received a very friendly welcome and we were served a wonderful breakfast. Absolutely to be recommended.

We had a very nice but unfortunately far too short vacation. The hotel with its very nice hostess contributed a lot to this. Room super spacious, super clean and great breakfast. We'll definitely come again. The location is also great, everything can be reached on foot.

Hotel zum Kreuzberg

Winterberg, Kapellenstrasse 4 , Ortsmitte, 59955 Winterberg, Germany 🧭

Small but lovely hotel. Super friendly people, always helpful. Breakfast is small but very good. Centrally located in Winterberg and not far from the Karussell ski lift; it's an easy walk.

The entire house is super clean, a great breakfast with delicious coffee. Special requests are largely fulfilled. The garden is very well-maintained with plenty of seating. The owners are very friendly. Drinks can be ordered almost anytime. Excellent value for money! Just a few minutes' walk from the market square/town center with its many restaurants, cafés, and bars, some of which serve hot meals...

We spend a long weekend here at the end of May, it was delightful! The owners were incredibly welcoming, they serve great breakfast with fresh produce. The location is perfect for staying in Winterberg: there are shops, cafes and restaurants around, the train station is 15 mins walking. Overall highly recommend!

We liked the room and the breakfast. We had a nice place for breakfast with a view of the garden. The hosts are friendly and accommodating. The location is ideal: close to the city center, but still quietly located on a side street. A supermarket is around the corner.

Family atmosphere. Service is good. Beautifully landscaped garden with individual seating areas.

Accommodation is in a quiet side street, but still only a few steps away from the “town center”. Very nice owners. Great garden with terrace. Top breakfast buffet, enough tea or coffee, wide variety, nothing was missing. Room was "small" but cozy and very clean. Large carport for our motorcycle. What more could you want 😁 Thank you for your hospitality.

Conveniently located just a 10-minute drive from the city center, 1 km from the nearest ski area, and nestled in the middle of a picturesque hiking area, it is the perfect destination for a peaceful and romantic getaway. The breakfast was excellent, with a variety of delicious options to start the day, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive...

The hotel is located a bit outside of the Winterberg village and is easily accesible by car. Rooms are of good quality. Breakfast is great. Service from hostess amazing.
