The HAPIMAG resort is very good located to go to the ski slopes. Its close to walking path for hiking as well to go for city center walk. It has an indoor pool, wellness and a big garage facility including EV stations. The rooms are clean and have small kitchens for own cooking when needed. Can recommend if you go to Winterberg (DE).

Lovely week in a nice park. Swimming pool and whirlpool are amazing. And they have a lovely room for kids to play. Be prepared to take your luggace skyhigh before you can enjoyed the rest of a holiday ^^.

Nice location, apartment was ok. The pull out sofa bed was horrible and the “normal” beds were also not that great (very hard mattresses and short for a tall guy) Chairs, especially on the balcony were really hard and uncomfortable.

The location is brilliant if you come to ski as the lifts and rental places are a 5 minute drive, otherwise there's not a lot of indoor activities, were you with children. The rooms are modern, new, well-equipped and very comfortable with great heating (coming from the UK it's a blessing). The pool and the outdoor hot tubs are nice but cold, not quite for a pleasant swim or splash with friends/kids...

Beautiful location, near ski slopes and lift, but in quiet surrounding outside Winterberg. Very friendly owners, rooms are very clean with good beds, great buffets for breakfast and for dinner. Swimmingpool and sauna, nice bar with a fire. We had a great time.

The room is very beautiful, very cozy. The food here is amazing as well, I ordered Tomato and mozzarella, and fries and they were done very quick, that was impressive, it was really tasty as well! The guy on the reception desk when we arrived, was excellent, a very friendly and welcoming face ***** He gave us a complete run down of the resort and made us very welcome.

Staff is friendly, especially at the bar. The rooms are adequate for what you pay. At one point there was a malfunction with our shower water, and staff was very nice about immediately helping us change rooms. The work out room is unfortunately equipped pretty bare-bones, and the spa area has been called somewhat outdated.

Very good option in the city center My experience at Nuhnental was very good. The staff is very attentive. Rooms are cozy and the fact there’s sauna and a swimming pool is a real bonus. All the facilities appeared to be recently renovated. Location is unbeatable.

Very limited parking and in noisy area

Thank you for some wonderful days at your hotel. The friendly and cozy vibe made our stay a nice and relaxing experience. The Staff was at all time to our servic. The hotel was clean and the wellness area with the pool and saunas was also great. The food was good, and the winery had a fine selection of wine from different areas.

The rooms are nice and clean but the mattresses were far too soft. We didn't sleep well at all. Friendly lady at the breakfast buffet. The lady of the house is quite brisk and not very helpful. The small pool was cold, not 29 degrees as advertised (20 max). Unfortunately on both days the bar closed at 8pm so we couldn't grab a drink after dinner. Authentic bierstube, food is tasteful and large portions. Service was very friendly. Nice selection of beers on tap and prices are very reasonable. We had a schnitzel topped with berries and cheese and a vegetarian dish, fried avocado with vegetables. The quinoa bowl. As a starter we had a salad and a mixed bruschetta.

Great amenities for a 3-star hotel including pool and sauna, comfortable beds, very nice breakfast, had a great dinner in their restaurant, cosy bar, traditional rustic interiors, friendly staff, good place for summer or winter vacation, nice area to site-seeing. The service was amazing, we went on Xmas and the staffs had arranged a special breakfast menu with a pretty looking decoration of the dining room. Ambiance of hotel itself felt a bit old but the rooms were alright. We paid 9 euros for Sauna which was great and during our stay we also made use of the pool. The hotel is very nice and has a good restaurant. After initially moving into a not-so-nice room (which, according to the nice owner, is now being changed), upon request we were offered another, really great room at no extra cost. Great stay - great thing!

Warm and friendly welcome and also very friendly staff. .The breakfast buffet is well extensive. Very tasty food working with fresh products and spices. That experiment, I recommend it to everyone to take half board, is great.👌👌And our dog was very welcome.

We had a nice stay. The real Sauerland breakfast was rich and delicious. The family-run hotel is very clean. Well-kept and spacious rooms. The city center and a hiking trail can be reached in just a few minutes.

Together with our dog a guest at Gilsbach. Great rooms. Park your car next to the building. Breakfast was fine but not or hardly replenished. If you are a little later that is not useful. Evening meal is delicious but it all takes a bit long. We didn't have that many problems with that ourselves, but we did notice during our two-night stay. Staff is also friendly and helpful.

Centrally located, 10 minutes walk to the ski resort, there is another MONKEYLAND also 15 minutes walk. The on-site restaurants and bars have a variety of styles and tastes good. There is parking on site.

You can read my tips and opinions in the reviews. Definitely recommended, the Sauerland and the hotel are worth a trip, especially on a motorbike.

Rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was nice especially the fresh orange juice. We used the sauna and we were completely satisfied. All in all i can recommend this hotel for everyone who likes skying because the best places for that are 2 minutes away.

A lovely hotel at a reasonable price during Winterberg's peak season. Good breakfast, friendly and easy-going hostess. The parking lot was a bit tight and there was a musty smell in the bathroom.

The entire house is super clean, a great breakfast with delicious coffee. Special requests are largely fulfilled. The garden is very well-maintained with plenty of seating. The owners are very friendly. Drinks can be ordered almost anytime. Excellent value for money! Just a few minutes' walk from the market square/town center with its many restaurants, cafés, and bars, some of which serve hot meals...

We spend a long weekend here at the end of May, it was delightful! The owners were incredibly welcoming, they serve great breakfast with fresh produce. The location is perfect for staying in Winterberg: there are shops, cafes and restaurants around, the train station is 15 mins walking. Overall highly recommend!

We liked the room and the breakfast. We had a nice place for breakfast with a view of the garden. The hosts are friendly and accommodating. The location is ideal: close to the city center, but still quietly located on a side street. A supermarket is around the corner.

Accommodation is in a quiet side street, but still only a few steps away from the “town center”. Very nice owners. Great garden with terrace. Top breakfast buffet, enough tea or coffee, wide variety, nothing was missing. Room was "small" but cozy and very clean. Large carport for our motorcycle. The apartments are unfortunately a bit noisy, which can be annoying when the other appartements are less considerate.

The apartment was cosy and comfortable enough. A small kitchenette is available if one needs to cook. Balcony with a nice view of the hills there. Skilift is at walking distance, for someone with children might be still not the shortest walk though, in which case P2 parking is 5 min driving away. Recommended.

Perfect for what we aimed for; to spend a weekend with a friend in de bikepark. Nice clean beds in small but wel equiped appartement with a decent shower. There was space to put the bikes in a locked shed, not a lot of space but enough. Dymek, the concierge, was easy to reach and communicated in english. Would definitely go here again.

Nice and beautiful place and clean

A nice cosy place with beautiful views and close to town and the slopes. Unfortunately no microwave or coffee (perculator only) and apartment smelling of sigaret smoke was a turn-off. We'll stay elsewhere next time.
