The apartments are very comfortable, the swimming pool, hottubs and sauna are amazing especially after a day of skiing or hiking

Lovely week in a nice park. Swimming pool and whirlpool are amazing. And they have a lovely room for kids to play. Be prepared to take your luggace skyhigh before you can enjoyed the rest of a holiday ^^.

The pool and the outdoor hot tubs are nice but cold, not quite for a pleasant swim or splash with friends/kids. The sauna and steambath are strictly no-textile (which some like some don't)

Only difficulty faced was taking luggage to your accommodation; depending where you are staying, you have face some steep hills up and down. Not a problem if you have backpacks

Me and my family have been coming here for 20 years (every couple of years) and even though it hasn't had any major updates over the years, it's still a family favourite

I recommend it! Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Food and drinks are also good! Very friendly staff and they are ready to help you at any time! The pool and the spa are also super! We will be back here again!

Otherwise, very comfortable, with extra chairs and desk, tv. Bathroom small but has what you need. Breakfast is a buffet, fresh and varied, we enjoyed very much. Dinner was varied and different per evening, delicious

Restaurant is quite a cozy place as well. There are sauna's and a swimming pool with lounge area, also very nice

The staff are kind and helpful. The rooms are cozy with everything. The floor in winter is heated and it's really fun. The hotel has a large indoor pool with tanning beds. There is also a sauna and spa

Clean and spacious small apartment, fully equipped kitchen, quiet location within walking distance to the center and supermarket. The pool is not included in the apartments.

Good room with enough facilities, but the cleaning service is not good as 4 stars hotel. Also the pool area is not so clean and the pool has not really good filters as well

We stayed at a one room apartment with two elders and two children. The apartment is new and well furnished. The location is also very good there are lots of activities available around the park

Great place with pool, sauna and much more. Cleaning every day. Surrounded by nature and well kept. They speak some English, but it's Germany so. Also great food, always different and with something for everyone.

Staff is friendly, especially at the bar. The rooms are adequate for what you pay. At one point there was a malfunction with our shower water, and staff was very nice about immediately helping us change rooms

I had a very nice and relaxed stay at "Der Schöne Asten". The room was comfortable and clean and the service very friendly (if a little inexperienced at times)

The menu has been overhauled recently and the new food and drink are excellent. Try the burgers! At peak times there could be a little wait, but nothing bad

Solid rooms, friendly staff and good food. A strange plus are the tunnels between all buildings - don't get too drunk or you get lost :)

Personally, I like the kitchen which is equipped with everything I need for cooking. My children love the swimming pool, and they went there twice! It's located near the Skilift and Rodelbahn

It is a very nice hotel, clean & big rooms, brand new bathroom, excellent open buffet breakfast, big-enough indoor swimming pool. We truly enjoyed our stay and family time.

Very pleasant hotel. Clean and warm house with a nice kitchen. Nice sauna and swimming pool. Only the parking was troublesome, with a registration process for reservation.

We will be back Great modern room with a impressive view of the vally. Nide to have a balcony. Room was great and clean, beds perfect. Only downside was the pool. It was dirty so we did not go in.

So far this is the best resort we visited for winter vacation, and personally I like the kitchen, which is fully equipped. It's valued with the money you paid. Love the scenery and beautiful snowy landscape

The wellness facilities are superb. The rooms are big and you have all you need. Breakfast with valley view is a must do. In winter you are close to ski piste and walking distance to center

The only disadvantage was that the hotel parking lot wasn't big enough, but only because the pool is public and people drive to come swimming. Overall I'd be happy to come back

My kids were very pleased by the little details reserved for them such as kids slippers and kids personal care kit with special shower gel, shampoo, body lotion and a wet cleaning paper just for them

The staff, the kitchen, the pool - everything was great!! We asked for a kettle in the room - they brought it right away! The water in the pool is warm, we liked the spa! It was very tasty, clean, unforgettable!! It is very quiet and calm at night, and the orthopedic pillows are a surprise!!! I recommend!!!

Location is practical, in the village, a little away from the ski slopes (but a free shuttle service is provided or access by car is very fast)

We had reserved our favorite room, No. 89 in the Rothaarblick house, quite early in the fall. The welcome at reception was very friendly. We stayed there for about five days and once again felt very comfortable

We wanted to start 2025 with a stay at the mountain hotel we already knew from previous visits. So we arrived on the afternoon of January 1st. The weather was so-so, no snow, but that would change the next day

Nice with a pool - after a day of skiing

For us, two people with a dog, the hotel was a true oasis of relaxation over Christmas. It's wonderfully quiet up here, and many beautiful hikes are accessible directly from the hotel

The evening meal (a buffet) was truly delicious, and the fantastic breakfast buffet left nothing to be desired. and was available until 11:30 a

The personal service from the owner family is simply fantastic, and then there's the skilled and mischievous demeanor of the head waiter, Niki, who is always up for a laugh

Soothing music in the background while you enjoy multi temperature saunas, steam rooms, the heated pool, water bed massages, or a comfortable chair to chat with friends or family

Great idea, so you don't need to carry a lot of cash with you. The staff is very helpful and friendly. They gave us the lay of the land with a lot of suggestions for things to do in the hotel and the surrounding areas

All in all, it is a great experience that we hope to do again in the near future. Might bring more family members and get an apartment instead of a couple of rooms. 75 stars out of 10 (because of the shower doors)

Typical breakfast buffet, but dinners were fantastic! 3-4 course meals that'll make your taste buds go wild. Bar menu is limited, but a very nice selection of Gin. Choose your room wisely because it does matter

The "key to everything" is a bracelet that is used to open your room or charge purchases (meals, souvenirs, drinks, hours at the spa). It fits nicely on your wrist and is water and sweat proof

Perfect place for a ski vacation, you have all the amenities needed for this and more. The hotel is close to the city center and to the ski slopes. The atmosphere is great, the staff is super nice, and the food is tasty

They are situated near a tunnel under the centre of Winterberg, so if you walk up the side of the tunnel you are right in the centre! And the hotel is really near the main road

Very good option in the city center My experience at Nuhnental was very good. Rooms are cozy and the fact there’s sauna and a swimming pool is a real bonus. All the facilities appeared to be recently renovated

The hotel was clean and the wellness area with the pool and saunas was also great. The food was good, and the winery had a fine selection of wine from different areas

The small pool was cold, not 29 degrees as advertised (20 max). Unfortunately on both days the bar closed at 8pm so we couldn't grab a drink after dinner

We stayed in the Loft, which is about 10 minutes from the Hotel, but is an excellent flat with lots of space and nice living spaces

Very friendly and accommodating staff, superclean rooms, comfy beds, good breakfast, great Wi-Fi and even a spa! To some the ambiance may feel a bit outdated but we loved the atmosphere, as the place has a great 70s vibe and it's very well kept

The service was amazing, we went on Xmas and the staffs had arranged a special breakfast menu with a pretty looking decoration of the dining room. Ambiance of hotel itself felt a bit old but the rooms were alright

Centrally located, 10 minutes walk to the ski resort, there is another MONKEYLAND also 15 minutes walk. The on-site restaurants and bars have a variety of styles and tastes good. There is parking on site.

Luckily the hotel already had a table reserved in the restaurant! The food was good and the place has a old German appearance with cozy booths. Enough space to store your clothes and other stuff

The staff was very friendly and no matter how busy it was, they always took the time when you asked something. Our next stay in Winterberg is without a doubt going to be here if possible!

Excellent staff, rooms were roomy and bright, a bit worn, not too bad. Some noise from street and building construction, also not too bad. Great breakfast..staff was outstanding.

The room had a balcony with a beautiful view of a part of the city and 1 slope. The location of the hotel is perfect! You can walk to the center and to the slopes

Hotel room comes with free access to the indoor swimmingpool, turkish steambath, infrared sauna and regular swedish sauna. Very relaxing. Situated right in the center of Winterberg.

My son and I had a wonderful weekend here. This is our second visit to the mountain hotel. The room is beautifully furnished, clean, and a good size. The bed is very comfortable, and the view is breathtaking
