Amazing experience! Loved the cozy vibes, hosts are extremely nice and helpful! Absolutely would love to visit again!

I chose the country inn because it's close to the Girkhausen cross-country skiing center and the Neuastenberg and Winterberg downhill ski resorts. I booked online and arrived on their day off. I then received a quick WhatsApp message with instructions for the key box. Everything was very simple and convenient. The keys and further instructions were in the key box. We were able to get an espresso from the coffee machine. In the evening, despite it being their day off, we enjoyed a superb five-course meal. Delicious and plentiful. The next morning, there was a breakfast buffet with a wide selection. We were able to take our own food for the day, and the owner filled our thermos with hot tea. In the evening, we had a four-course meal with a choice of dishes. There's a large sauna with a lovely relaxation room. All in all, two wonderful days with excellent service from the owners. We'll definitely be back.

I've eaten at the Landgastof restaurant several times and have been extremely satisfied every time! The food is delicious and locally sourced, the portions are generous, and the owners are incredibly kind. The building is beautiful and easy to reach, even in snowy weather. The interior is meticulously designed, and the atmosphere is warm. The menu often even mentions the nearby farm where the meat is sourced. And the result is evident, given the high quality of the dishes and the unique, familiar, and non-industrial flavors. I give it 5 stars, but it deserves 6!

We had a fine walking holiday staying here. The staff. Hotel and food were all fine. Absolutely no complaints, and would definitely stay here again

Nice bedroom and excellent food!
The owner is very friendly and is always willing to help, the rest of the staff are also very good!
They gave me a bus ticket for the whole weekend, a place to put my ski and a bottle of water in the room.
The attention is very personalized.
It also has also got a nice sauna.
The only problem for me was the public transport, buses go by every 1 or 2 hours, eventhough you can call a taxi.
The price is good and it includes breakfast and dinner...

Together with our dog a guest at Gilsbach. Great rooms. Park your car next to the building. Breakfast was fine but not or hardly replenished. If you are a little later that is not useful. Evening meal is delicious but it all takes a bit long. We didn't have that many problems with that ourselves, but we did notice during our two-night stay. Staff is also friendly and helpful.

Always worth a visit. The food is so delicious and worth every penny. The service, no matter who it is, is really very friendly. Stay as you are. I always like to come back to you guys.
