The hotel is very nice and has a good restaurant. After initially moving into a not-so-nice room (which, according to the nice owner, is now being changed), upon request we were offered another, really great room at no extra cost.

Horrible experience. Hotel looks completely different from how it is advertised. Owners are quite unfriendly towards guests and do not respons well to any form of (respectful) criticism.

For a region that sees a lot of bicycle tourism they are far from accommodating. They offer a very crowded bike storage that is nowhere near ideal to store an expensive bike.

Rooms are very outdated in the second building and very uncomfortable. Price they charge is definitely upscale..

Warm and friendly welcome and also very friendly staff.
.The breakfast buffet is well extensive.
Very tasty food working with fresh products and spices.
That experiment, I recommend it to everyone to take half board, is great.👌👌And our dog was very welcome.

We had a nice stay. The real Sauerland breakfast was rich and delicious. The family-run hotel is very clean. Well-kept and spacious rooms. The city center and a hiking trail can be reached in just a few minutes.

We were there from Thu-Sun with 5 people and 5 dogs. Nice hotel with very friendly staff. Free parking spaces at the house.
We stayed in the building next door. Cozy, beautifully furnished rooms.
The dogs were allowed to come to breakfast. The breakfast was rich, fresh and delicious.
The hotel is centrally located, yet quiet on a side street.

The beautiful hotel is in a quiet location, the entrance area/reception is lovingly designed. We stayed in the adjacent building for 2 nights. The rooms are modernly furnished and clean. We were very enthusiastic about the breakfast buffet, it had everything we needed to start the day comfortably. The staff was very friendly. I can recommend the hotel and say thank you for the beautiful days.

We were there in mid-December and we really enjoyed it. As soon as we arrived in front of the house, we were totally amazed by the whole ambience, how lovingly it was decorated, how beautiful everything was, really a dream. The family that runs the house, the employees, everyone is so nice, friendly and helpful that you just don't want to leave. I then booked an upgrade to the suite as a little surprise for my girlfriend's birthday and what can I say, we would have loved to move in there. When it comes to breakfast, absolutely nothing is left to be desired. There is something for everyone, everything is fresh and delicious. There is also a family restaurant right in the house, where we also ate once. 5 stars for the chef, 5 stars for the service, 5 stars for the ambience. We will come back in any case.

We were guests with cycling friends for a long weekend and were accommodated in the outbuilding! Rooms are clean and nicely decorated! The operators and team very friendly and helpful! The breakfast buffet is great and the food from the kitchen is highly recommended! The cold drinks and the service that went with them was excellent! Thank you for this nice stay!
